Chapter 4 Let's date

"Yes it was you." The CEO said from behind them. Olivia gasped as she turned to look at him, but Athena didn't. Instead she grabbed Olive's hand and walked fast, pulling her as she went. Athena could hear his footsteps as he followed behind them, and that made her walk even faster. She need to go inside a place where he can't follow them.

The women's bathroom!

"Hena, what is going on? How did you catch the attention of the most mysterious man anyone has ever met?" Olive asked as Soon as we got to the bathroom and locked the door. Athena ignored her question, placing her head on the door, listening to any approaching footsteps. It seems like he was gone, damn it she wasn't sure. If her senses come on now, she would know by listening to any close heartbeat. She tried to listen even harder, but everywhere was just so quiet.

"Athena? Look at me!" Olive tapped her shoulders on and on, but the girl was still straining her ears all over the doors listening for any sort of noise at all.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," She finally replied.

Olive frowned, before moving away and leaning on the door. Five more minutes before Athena finally looked up at her, looking very relieved "I think he's gone. But I need you to go and check to be sure."

"Why on Earth is he after you??" Olive demanded.

Athena shrugged "He's not after me. I just feel like avoiding him. Everyone does, right?"

Olive stood at akimbo, giving me the 'how stupid do you think I am' look. Athena shrugged again at her, before giving her a cheeky smile. She frowned even harder this time, she's not buying any of this at all, and she hates it when Athena keep things from her. Well, she didn't even know Athena was keeping the biggest one too from her, but it's for her own good. No one can ever know. "I'm serious, he's not after me. I just, pfft, I just decided to come straight to the bathroom,"

"He was the one who licked your neck wasn't he?"

Athena almost choked on her words "God, I told you No no no..."

"You know you've always been the worst liar ever. Like since I knew you, you've been a terrible liar. Whenever you lie, you start to panic," Athena scratched her forehead "and then you do that". And then Athena bit her lips "And then you show how nervous you are, so you bite down on your lips."

"Okay fine!" Athena gave in "Caesar...did lick my neck yesterday, but that's pretty much all,"

Olive was already jumping up and down like a little girl who had been offered candy, and a huge smile on her face as she clapped happily "I love that! He's noticed you, or else he wouldn't have even looked your way girl. You've caught the eye of The CEO." She grabbed both Athena's hands and Squeezed as tightly as she could.

"Yeyyyy, that's so nice. I'm the most happiest woman on earth, the CEO licked my neck, I'm a special girl now yeyyyy," the sarcasm all over Athena's voice made her stop jumping, and Olive frowned again before muttering "Mood killer."

"So, what does it means? And how do I make him stop following me?" Athena asked in need of a solution.

"It means, he needs you and you're gonna become his girlfriend and start dating the man because he needs some love in his life."

She was the wrong person to go to. Athena shook her head in dismay while olive kept nodding back, making Athena turn away from her, placing her ear once again at the door.

"I'm serious girl. You gotta give the man a chance. Who knows? You might end up getting married and get a hamster, And two cute kittens and four dazzling babies running all around the house," she continued.

"Olive! I am not getting married to Caesar. And I'm only nineteen, what do I know?"

She crossed her arms around her chest, giving Athena the 'how old do you think I am' look. Athena groaned in annoyance! "Well you know a lot about life, I mean look at you, you're so young but you're already a graduate and you have a fine job. If you said you're getting married right this second, no one's gonna complain. But what about me? I only finished high school, and that was the end!"

"Keep whining," Olive groaned. Athena felt as if her friend wasn't even listening to her at all, "All I know is that I can see you and Caesar kissing and hugging each other. I vote two kids, having lots of kids is a lot of work and stress. And make sure the kids look like caesar, And make sure..."

Right now, Athena would rather face Caesar that to continue listening to Olive so she opened the door without a care and walked out. Olive followed close behind, still spurting out rubbish.

"Ah! Look, it's twelve o clock already, And we both need to be working," Athena began pushing her in the direction of the elevator. "And I need to start cleaning right away, so," She tugged her inside the elevator "Adios!" Athena waved as the doors closed.

Finally!

Luckily, Athena didn't run into Caesar the entire time she cleaned about two floors. When she was done, she walked straight to the closet and set down the bucket and mop. She was just about to step back out when someone walked in, and closed the door behind.

Her breath ceased, and she quickly moved back far away from him. But the place was small, so Athena didn't cover much distance. With two strides, he could easily catch up to her.

He looked at Athena, but she avoided those eyes of his. She knew what those eyes are capable of doing to her insides "Nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide darling," his voice had her legs trembling? Stupid stupid stupid legs!

"Run? Whose running? I'm definitely not running haha," Athena replied nervously

"Good. Don't run. Let's date,"

Woah, what on Earth is he talking about now "Today's date is second of may,"

"You know what I mean!"

This time, Athena looked up into his green eyes. He held no emotions in them and she would have sworn he was bluffing if not for the seriousness that was written all over his beautiful face. This man is something out of an imagination, this kind of intoxicating beauty shouldn't even exist, he's putting both men and even women to shame! Athena was sure he has a million women crushing all over him.

When she realized she was staring for too long, Athena quickly looked away "I'm not interested. Can i leave now?"

"I don't care. Whether you like it or not I really don't care. You're now my girlfriend for a month, meet me in my office to sign the contract papers." he said plainly.

Athena was still trying to process this new information in her head. He was giving her no other choice, and wants to date her by force. But it's actually a contract relationship he wants from her, and he hasn't stated any reason whatsoever.

He was just using his authority against her. People like him ought to be sliced in a perfect half. "I said I'm not interested. What's so wrong in understanding that?"

Then, he took a threatening step towards her. Athena desperately needed to open the door and let the fresh air in, or the heat in here was gonna kill her anytime soon. His green eyes darkened, and lines appeared between his forehead "Repeat that." he stated firmly.

"I...I said I'm..n..not interested. I don't have any time to date anyone. You can give that to another person, so if you'll excuse me I'll..." She had it all planned inside my head. She was gonna Sprint for the door before she finishes her sentence, at least she might catch him off guard and before it can register, she would be out of the closet by then.

But it was so unfortunate. So unfortunate that he had seen it all coming, And he grabbed her arm before she could outrun him, whirling her back till she came crashing unto his hard chest, and his cologne filled her lungs instantly.

Why did he have to smell like her favorite scent in the whole wide world.

Brandy and wood, that was so not fair!

Nothing had ever been fair to her though. Athena shook her head frantically from straying away from her main plan, and tried to move away from him, but he refused to let go of her small hand. She tried again, but it was useless.

"Stop struggling. It'll only make it worse woman!" He barked.

"Is that how you ask a woman out from where you came from huh? Maybe you lick her neck as a greeting, follow her as a way of saying hi, trap her in the closet as a way of getting close to her, and try to force her to become your girlfriend as a way of telling her you like her?"

"Athena," he called her name for the first time that day, and a shiver ran down her spine. It must have been because of the way he had called the name, like it held some kind of secret power that only him could unveil. His eyes were literally shooting daggers at her right now "I won't repeat myself, YOU ARE NOW MY GIRLFRIEND!"

Athena should have thought a little more about what she was about to do, but she was just so desperate to get out so her pulsing heart would become normal again. She did it without a care, and the after look of pain and shock on his face told her exactly that he hadn't expected that at all.

From anyone infact.

Caesar's grip slipped away, and Athena used that opportunity to peel him completely and ran out of the closet. As soon as she made sure she was very far away from the company, she stopped running and took in several deep breaths to get in control of herself again. That's it! Athena was positive this would be her last time coming to work.

He was definitely gonna fire her.

Like seriously, who dares kick the CEO Caesar Lincoln in the balls?
