Chapter 8 Packhouse

"With so many werewolves in the Dark moon pack that shifted form last night, why did Alpha think that you were the one who received the moonlight calls?"

Zeta Nicolas was scratching his head while asking me that matter. Maybe he saw the moon light last night.

We're currently heading to the packhouse. I'm sure the redness of my cheeks is noticeable as well as the swelling of my eyes due to what Auntie Elvie did to me. My hair is messy and just combed it with my fingers-it was embarrassing to face the Alpha in my situation.

"We'll find out later but aren't you 21?" Zeta Borlan-walking in front of me-asked.

I just nodded and wasn't in the mood to talk. I'm still in the process of moving on from my aunt's abuse.

"You skipped form shifting didn't you?"

I nod my head again and Zeta Nicolas stopped to wait me and walked together. "If you have been able to shift form, your aunt should not be hurting you anymore because there is a possibility that you might fight her back."

Zeta Borlan agreed, "Yeah!"

I wanted to join their conversation but I couldn't because I am still not in the mood and besides that I was already feeling hungry.

I haven't eaten since last night and when I got home, my aunt called me immediately after I changed my clothes for five minutes. She gave me many slaps and that was my breakfast right away.

Then now Alpha sent this Zetas to pick me and I don't know what time I could eat.

In the packhouse, a year I set foot on its floor again. Nothing has changed, the texture is still durable. I can feel the various energies of wolves that was in a high ranks and that's a also the reason of the tightness of my chest.

We went straight to the pack office. Zeta Nicolas knocked for a while and I heard our Alpha's voice. Usually he said 'get in' as a permission.

I first only heard his voice, still the effect is entensed. My heart automatically beats erratically causing me to gulped. My hairskins also rose up due to his cold aura. We automatically bow to him as a tribute. In the middle of our respect Zeta Nicolas spoke, "Sophia is here, Alpha."

Alpha Eros gave a small nod and says, "Leave us alone."

I don't know what Alpha needs from me. I didn't have a good hunch especially since I know how determined he was to find out about the source of my strength.

They murmurs, "Yes, Alpha." And immediately came out of the pack office.

It's like I just want to drown in where I'm standing. I can't handle the Alpha's cold presence, it freezing me too much.

He utters, "Look at me, Sophia."

Suddenly my shoulders jerked up. He spoke coldly but authoritatively. I slowly raised my face and forced myself to look at him directly.

I want to slap myself because my eyes are automatically glued to his lips. Those lips were my first kiss. I could hardly believe that scene happened last night; his length touched my thigh.

"What do you feel, Sophia?" he asked.

I gulped down, my heart never stopped beating. It seems that every word he utters startling me.

When my nervousness calmed down, I was thinking about the feelings he was saying. What other feeling is he referring to?

Is that my strength? My fear on him? Or am I feeling fine or not? Actually, I'm not. I'm hungry but I don't want to admit that to him.

I shook my head in response, "I'm fine, Alpha."

"I'm not asking if you're okay or not. What I'm asking is how you're feeling right now especially since you've got your wolf."

He rose his feet then slit his hands into his pocket and walked out of his desk. He went in front of me with a distance of only one meter. He was wearing a black shirt and black trouser pants. That's adds to his handsomeness.

It was as if I was being pulled by his dark eyes looking at me warmly. When I look directly at him, I almost melt. He's really cold intimidating and even simple words to utter seem difficult for me to do.

"Sophia..."

My chest seemed to rise even more because of the panic he created in me. I just gulped and then trying to straighten up.

"Y-Yes, Alpha?"

"I'm asking you, what is new about your feelings today?"

I shook my head.

"Nothing? Really?" His eyes narrowed into slit and stepped closer to me.

I stepped back and answered... "S-Strength, a-a heavy energy."

"That's it?" he asked and stopped in front of me.

My breathing became more and more difficult and I am not comfortabe. He's so close to me that I could smell his fascinating scent.

"Y-Yes..." I nod even though my head was still bowed.

I closed my eyes when I felt his hand on my chin. He made me to look at him and our eyes met.

"You don't feel anything except the strength you have?" he asked and I couldn't get what he meant.

"F-Fear," I admitted as well as saying my true feelings. "M-My fear of you. It still hasn't gone away."

He stared at my eyes for a moment. My heart does not stop beating. With its loudness, I can almost hear every beat.

Five seconds passed before he let go of my chin after looking me in the face. Maybe he's reading my reaction to find out how scared I was of him.

"I can hear your heartbeat," he commented and slit back his hand in his pocket. "That's not normal anymore."

How can my heart beat normally if every time his presence is around me I am afraid? He left in front of me, he went to his desk and went back to sitting.

"I'm summoned you here because I want to know everything about you more."

I gasped at what he said. Just as I expected, he called me here because of my untested skills.

"You will face the Zetas of the Dark moon pack and I want you to defeat them."

If earlier I just gasped the air, now my eyes are widened.

"B-But I have nothing against them! I'm just an Omega!"

He smirk and shook his head, "We're not sure."

"W-What do you mean, Alpha?"

"You don't want to test your strength by fighting me because like you said, your respect to me as the Alpha will follow. Now as your Alpha, follow what I want. You will face my Zetas and beat them."

I gripped my clothes tightly. Once again I gulped and stepped back.

"I'm just an omega Alpha. Whatever strength I have, I won't use it. Even if you force me, I'm sorry..." I bowed to him in opposition to what he wanted me to do. "But I won't fight any werewolf with a higher position than me."

He took his phone from the desk and spoke, "If you don't obey my order I will spread this video and make sure that not only the werewolf will see it but also the people."

My lips parted in surprised when he presented his phone to me to show me the video.

That's me inside the cage, naked! And I was not mistaken, the cage did have a hidden camera and this was really his plan for me!

"When this video spreads on social media, I'm sure your mate won't accept you by the time you meet him because he's already watched that video." He smirk and went on, "You have to win the fight because if you don't, I will fire Bella and Ethan from Hildart. You have no choice Sophia, just fight and defeat my Zetas."
