Chapter 7 In the cage

The moist face caused by the heat woke me up. But I automatically went back to closing my eyes when the glary sunlight hit it. I know the night has passed and now it's morning time but I'm not in my bed. I don't know where I am, I just feel like it's a hard thing I'm lying on and it smells like dust.

I forced my eyes open to clear it and chose not to look up. The dusty dry and hard ground I was lying on connect on my face. My eyes slowly traveled, from the ground in front of my face to my body and I quickly curled into a ball realizing that I wasn't wearing any clothes.

Hugging myself, I looked around. I was inside a cage made of wood, but not just a wood because it was one of the hard woods. When I realized that I was alone here and that I was actually here in a vast area...I got up to better understand where I really was.

I was in the middle of a large area with cages similar to where I was. At the end, there were trees-it was like I was in a circle with trees around it. The sun is shining in the center where I am. My situation is odd, it's like someone put me here and that makes me scared.

When I push myself to remember everything, one after another, the memory that happened last night returned in my head. Today is my birthday, I went on shift last night, and actually in front of Alpha Eros, and the worst is, he challenged me. He was so mean. If I told him last night what was true, he wouldn't have done this to me. But of course no, he's the Alpha, I'm the omega, that doesn't fit...

He is a heartless person, he doesn't care about those with lower ranks, but if I compare him to other Alphas, I can say that he is still better. He doesn't use omegas to fill his libido. The first hurt he did to me was last night. It was the first time, maybe because I didn't give the answer he was asking for or because I was afraid... yeah to confess.

I heaved a sigh and looked around again. I no longer feel the pain in my body. I also looked at my nudity for a moment. I was unconscious last night and he was free to do what he wanted with me.

What if...no, of course he won't do that. I'm still a virgin, I hope so...but of course yes, he didn't touch me. But...what if he did something to me and the pain just healed?

Goddess! I hope he didn't do anything, I hope that wasn't the lesson he was talking about. And what do I do now?

Based on the light of the day, as my shadow falls towards the west, it is quite short, which means that it is already around nine in the morning and I am sure that my aunt is throwing a tantrum with anger at home. I need to get out of this cage. But it's made of strong wood, it's hard to tear it down especially since I don't have tools. But should I tear it down? What if after I do this, Alpha Eros will punish me?

I stood up, I approached the edge to peek outside. I saw big letters written on the ground outside this cage that said, 'break the cage.'

I automatically looked up checking if I could break it whilst mentally asking myself if he could make me do this just to measure my ability?

I know I'm a white wolf but I'm not sure if I have power or if I'm really strong. I am an omega, slave, weak, and none of the omegas who have experienced pain can break this kind of cage; large, durable and polished construction. How do I break it?

I took a deep breath and a voice popped up at the back of my head, 'I guess you forgot you had me.' It's Nala, I'm curious how strong she is even though I feel like I can destroy the cage. 'Let me out.' She pushes me towards the darkness at the back of my head and my body began to grow.

The cracking of my bones prevailed. I felt pain but not like last night. And time over, she is completely in-charge. 'If you had just told him what he needed to know last night, he wouldn't have done this to us. Don't you want to be Luna?' she asked while observing how strong the cage was.

I asked too, 'Are you upset?'

'I understood your point. But did you think I needed that too?'

There was a cold tone in her voice so I spoke, 'Not now, Nala. It's difficult for me as a human form.'

She didn't respond anymore. She just started banging the cage. It cracked with the impact of her strength. She's really strong! But I felt the pain every time our body connect to the hardness of the cage. She also used her canines to make a hole. It didn't last five minutes and the cage was broken.

I breathed a sigh of relief, and she ran. I let her go back to Dark Moon. But it looks like I upset the Alpha, what if he punishes me? Nala pushed me out when we got to the back of my aunt's big white house. Different scents hit my nose but Aunt Elvie's was more dominant.

When I passed the kitchen, I just sped up and went straight to my room. I just maneuvered to put on clothes because I expected to happen after a few minutes and I was not mistaken, there was a knock on my bedroom door and aunt Elvie's voice roared, "Sophia!" Nala growled at the back of my head. But aunt Elvie still yelled, "Out!"

I quickly fixed my clothes, I just put on a white dress to make it easier and went out right away. As expected, I will meet her cruel palm on my face as she yanked my hair up. "Auntie!"

"How dare you let me do your chores here at home? Are you planning to run away?!"

Looking into her yellow furious eyes, I shook my head as tears rolled down my cheeks. Anger prevailed inside me but it was Nala's. I feel fear. "N-No auntie... it's just-"

I wanted to give a reason but she pulled my hair towards the kitchen. I held her hand tightly to somehow not hurt my scalp. 'Let me out, Sophia!' Nala yelled at the back of my head.

'No, I can handle this.' I don't trust what she will do so I can't allow her to be in charge. But Auntie Elvie yanked me into the sink and shoved my face into the dishes.

"Clean this!" She even pressed my head making Nala to feel mad. She tries to push me under the surface but I try to stop her.

'Oh please, Nala don't...'

Aunt Elvie yanked my hair again and made me look up at her. She angrily pointed at my face with her shaking index finger out of anger and said, "No matter where you go, remember that you are worthless. So stop being thankful that you exist in this world because every time your birthday comes around, it reminds me of what a shame your mother did!" She scoffed right in my face. "No matter how many times you celebrate, you're still nothing! No power! And nothing will change the fact that you are a product of shame!"

A growl flew from my throat. I know Nala did it on purpose and it made aunt Elvie's eyes widen but that was only for a moment. I knew she wouldn't let me speak but I tried to come up with a reason, "I-I'm with-"

"I know!" I was confused by what she said, she knows. What does he know? "I can feel it! You're going to be like your mother! The only difference is, your boyfriend is not a Rogue but a human!"

But I have no boyfriend...

She pulled my hair down even more, I was getting tired of looking up. She hisses in my face, "You're going to bring shame to our family here in the pack! I'm sure of that because you're a bitch! You are no different from your mother!"

I screamed when she put my face back in the sink. Besides that, she turned on the faucet. I cried louder and begged, "Auntie please stop!"

"Do you know that I want to kill you? But I can't! I don't know what's wrong with you and the Alpha always favors you. You become his fucking favorite, goddess!"

She aim my head on the running water from the tap. Using her palm, she took some water from the sink where the dirt from washing had mixed with the water and she used it to wash my face. "Are you giving yourself to him? Did you let him fuck you to keep you safe? What's the point of him using your body? Not to hurt you? Answer me!" I didn't answer but cried which caused her to pull my hair again and forced me to look at her.

But her brows quirked as she let go of my hair causing me to feel relief but it wasn't enough. I know she will hurt me more until she is satisfied. But there were two scents that hit my nose. She huffed and straightened herself.

I just cried wanting to leave this life. But, time over there's a twice knocked on the main door. She glared at me and said authoritatively, "Stay here." She pointed her trembling finger at my face.

I just nodded softly and sobbed when she left in front of me. I heard the door open and the voices of two men. One of them says, "The Alpha summons his Omega, Sophia to the packhouse. We'll wait here for the smooth flow of the situation, Alpha hates not being punctual."
