Chapter 5 Are you starting to be tempted by her, Boss

"A deal? What kind of deal can you offer me, Daphne?"

Daphne quickly stepped into the chair next to Damian and started talking seriously while looking at Hector intently.

"Give me some time to stay here until I finish my job, Hector!"

"And what's in it for me?"

"Of course I can help you with the company! I need time..."

"I'm not your friend, Daphne!" Hector interrupted before Daphne could finish her sentence. "We're also not on good terms until we can come to an agreement! So don't dream of making any deals with me!"

Hector's answer made Daphne suddenly silent and gaping.

"If there's nothing more to talk about, please pack your things and get out of my office!" Hector said sternly.

And Daphne continued to fume as soon as she was out of there.

"Hector is not a friendly person, Daphne!"

The atmosphere at the party was already so lively. The spacious ballroom was already crowded with Andino Group employees and their families.

Diana and Angelina were already busy greeting everyone, as well as John, Angelina's husband, who also works at Andino Group.

They all showed their friendly expressions as hosts while waiting for Victor, who was always late.

"This is our first time at this party, boss!" said Tony, who was already standing by the drink stall with Hector.

"Hmm, a party that's either important or not! This kind of party is a waste of money!" said Hector, who was still sipping his drink while straightening his formal suit. "I didn't even want to come but the old man forced me to! And now, he's late himself!"

Victor Andino was seen laughing happily there along with Damian and a young woman who looked so stunning in her red dress.

The woman smiled beautifully and greeted everyone in a graceful manner.

She shook the hands of the employees in such a friendly and dexterous manner that Hector couldn't blink an eye, even his hand that was holding his drink glass was hanging in front of his lips.

Especially when the woman's open back was displayed there, and the woman's long legs peeked through the slit of the dress that was so high on the thigh.

"Woah, that old man should marry that woman! Her body... I can't stand it, boss..." Tony made movements in the air with his hands, forming the curves of a woman's body.

Suddenly, Tony turned to Hector, and he swore he saw his boss swallowing his saliva as he staring harshly at the stepmother he said he hated so much.
