"Are you going to just stand there and look simple-minded all night, or are you going to come in?" Dante questioned from further into the house.
I was so busy taking in the inside of the house I hadn't even noticed he'd been talking to me. As soon as you walked through the huge doors, a marble stair case that had two optional sides that you could go up leading to a balcony in the house was opposite the doors.
From here you could see the balcony had a couple of doors behind it and soon lead onto a hallway that couldn't be seen from where I was standing.
I was stood on an Arabian designed rug, and at the each end of both the descending staircases were large plant pots containing some sort of small palm tree plant.
The rails of the stairs were mostly marble, outlined with gold. Further to the right side of the stair case there was another set of doors that were white and lead into a brightly lit room, and on the side closer to the left was another set of doors as well.
At the further side of the door I was stood at was a coffee table and a sofa with an extra sofa chair at the side.

As soon as Dante had spoke though, I became aware that I couldn't just stand there and gaze so quickly shut the front door and stepped of the rug walking closer towards him,
"Sorry sir." I spoke quietly putting my head down slightly.
"Hm." he grunted.
I shuffled after him as he began to walk towards the brightly lit room, carrying my bag that didn't have much in it.
"This is a room you shall be very familiar with..." he began as he strolled into the room as if he owned it - which he did but that's besides the point - he was very confident.
"The kitchen." he announced as I followed after him looking into the room.
Again, there was a lot of marble and the tiles on the floor were all black with glistens of silver that shone in rainbow flecks as the light hit them.
As well as the stove on the surface, there was knives kept in a wooden storer along with some chopping boards and other essentials.
In the centre of the kitchen was a long table that looked as if it could sit at least fifteen people, the room then further stretched to where there were shelves and cabinets where food was clearly kept.
Dante turned to face me as I scanned the room, and I immediately looked at him. His face kept that emotionless expression on it as he spoke "You will be in here most of the time. Breakfast should be ready for nine a.m sharp, lunch at one p.m and dinner served at seven p.m. Is that understood?"
"Yes Da- I-Yes sir." I struggled. I almost slipped up.
All in all, so far this inside of this mansion was incredible.
On the left was where the stove was as well as all the cabinets - of course all made up of black and white marble.
The stove was nothing like I'd seen before, it was like a touch screen and was built into the marble surface where opposite you could see some stools where you could possibly eat - or watch food being made if that interests you.
He raised an eyebrow before continuing "You will not only be cooking for me, but for my men that usually come by so no matter what make enough food for plenty of people. You may eat after we have eaten." he explained.
"Okay." I nodded obediently.
"Good. Now there is no need for me to show you much of the rest of the house as you can find your way around and I'm much too busy," he started and walked straight passed me whilst gesturing with his index finger for me to follow "but I will show you your room."
I really wanted to slap the rudeness out of him, but I contained myself - for obvious reasons.
"Thank you." I spoke quietly from behind him, again following him around like an obedient dog.
He walked out of the kitchen and began roaming the hallway again making his way towards the stairs, taking the left side of the staircase. I followed - not that it made much difference as they both led to the same area but he'd probably scold me for not following him step by step.
We walked up the staircase in silence, my heels being the only noise made.
Once Dante had reached the top, I had only a few more steps to climb due to his legs being much longer and quicker.
I watched my feet as I stepped up the stairs and as I reached the landing I bumped into something hard...someone hard.
Oops.
"S-sorry sir. I wasn't looking." I said nervously as I tried to move backwards, ultimately almost falling down the stairs due to how close I was to the steps.
Fortunately, a strong hand grabbed the small of my back and pulled me up harshly before spinning me around in an instant, me ending up a bit further back than where Dante was before.
It took me a moment to register what had happened, and when I did I felt my cheeks flame up.
He saved me from falling down the stairs...
"Thank you." I looked up at him with the smallest smile I could muster.
He had a look on his face that I couldn't quite make out, but it wasn't as cold as the usual stern look he had on his face. It was more...soft?
It didn't last long though when he realized his hand was still placed ever so slightly on my back. His touch was the opposite of what I thought it would be it was...gentle, calming.
He removed his hand and is facial expression immediately went back to normal and he furrowed his brows.
"Watch where you are going. I don't want to deal with the paperwork if you die on my property." he spoke harshly, I almost winced at his words.
Ouch.
I guess I must have been delusional to think that Dante would have treat me with the smallest amount of respect, so far I could see his ego was humongous and his attitude was awful.
"Sorry, sir." I apologized once again.
"Hmph." he replied with a grunt before staring at me up and down once more then stepping to the left and walking up the hallway.
I sighed and followed him hurriedly. I noticed that there were many doors up this corridor and a lot of plant decoration, even a few paintings.
"This is the only hallway you are allowed down with permission, although the only room you are to go in is this one..." he pointed at a white door, stopping in his tracks for a moment, with a golden door knob on it "the storage room where all the cleaning shít or whatever goes in and..." he continued to walk swiftly ahead as I took in where exactly that door was making sure that I'd go in the correct one to avoid being told off.
I walked after him and watched as he turned a corner, quickly catching up with him, there were more doors down this next hall and even a small semi-circle marble coffee table pressed up against a wall with a plant pot on it. Opposite this was another white door, with the same door knob on it and that is where Dante had stopped.
"Your room." he finished as he placed his hand on the door knob and roughly opened the door to the room.
I looked up at him as if asking him whether or not I should go in, and he gestured his head for me to walk in.
I did as he gestured and was met with a huge room.
This was possibly the best bed room I'd ever stayed in.
As you walked in there were two long windows that appeared to look out into the back garden and had sheer curtains over so that sunlight could go through, but also had some white velvet looking curtains pinned back with golden rope.
I stepped further into the room and took a glance to the left and there was a huge king sized bed covered in white and gold patterned sheets and duvets with pillows to match.
The bed had painted white, wooden pillars on each corner to hold up a sort of 'roof' that was above the bed.
On the right side of the room were two giant white doors, I'm assuming led to the closet and next to that was a golden vanity table with nothing on it.
It was beautiful.
Again, I looked to where the bed was and noticed a door, similar to the one I had leading to the room and I began walking towards it hastily.
I felt Dante watching me as I did so, and then heard the door close behind him.
I opened this white door, and looked inside and I couldn't believe my eyes.
Inside was a huge en suite bathroom, there was a shower and a bath tub that sort of looked like a jacuzzi attached to the corner of the room. The sink was huge as well, and had a golden framed mirror above it. Even the toilet looked good.
I couldn't help the small smile appear on my face as I looked around the room.
"You like?" Dante asked suddenly. I hadn't even noticed he was behind me.
I quickly turned around and saw he had again, an amused look on his face.
"Yes, it's lovely thank you." I gave him a close lipped smile and nodded appreciatively.
"Good." he spoke before turning around and walking away.
I followed, as if I were used to it already.
He must have noticed as he turned around straight away.
"Why are you following me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I thought..." I began, but didn't really have an answer, so just chewed on my bottom lip nervously instead.
He glanced at my lip as I did so, then quickly looked back up at me "You don't need to follow me constantly, gattino." Dante said with a smirk.
"Sorry." I looked down, embarrassedly.
"Sorry...?" he asked trailing off, before taking my face in his hands and pulling it up to make me look at him.
"S-sorry sir." I repeated, staring at him.
"Good girl. Now remember what I told you. It is late now, so go to bed but be up early in the morning ready to serve breakfast." Dante said letting go of my face and I almost sighed in relief.
"Okay sir. Is there anything in particular you would like me to make?" I asked politely.
"Anything you can think of." he shrugged, not seeming too bothered.
"Yes sir." I felt like a robot with these repetitive answers.
He nodded before turning around and heading towards the door. I stood there for a moment waiting for him to leave as he opened the door, but he ended up pausing and turning around slowly as he held the door open.
"I think you're going to enjoy working for me, ragazza timida. We will have a lot of...fun." Dante smirked, holding eye contact with me before leaving the room completely and slamming the door.
I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding and dropped my arms to my side, before walking over to the bed and sitting on it.
I knew Dante's definition of fun, and my definition of fun were very different. And I didn't really want to know what he meant by that...
