Chapter 7 Embarrass Her

"It's not a big deal. You're a lifesaver since I'm about to be driven away," Duncan told Moss as he sneered at the saleslady.

Shocked, the saleswoman instantly dropped her head.

Moss followed Duncan's eyes and saw the saleslady with a shaky expression. It seemed as if Moss's eyes had become dim. Furious, he said, "Come to my office later!"

"Yes, Sir. I understand." Her voice trembled and she nodded her head in agreement.

She was not ignorant. From the manager's demeanor, she could tell that Duncan was an elite customer.

And just now, she was rude to him and was telling him to get out. At that moment, she realized her mistake.

Although this wasn't a ground to get her fired, she was sure that severe punishment was waiting for her.

She felt terrible when she realized what she'd done.

Actually, she had no intention of evicting this individual in such a harsh manner. If Florrie didn't state those words, she never would have done that.

The saleslady couldn't help but stare at Florrie while she thought about this.

Florrie and the others, on the other hand, were stunned and unable to pay attention to the saleslady at the moment.

With widened eyes, they were all staring at the manager, who was getting closer and closer to Duncan. They were taken aback by the absurdity of what they were seeing.

Possibly, Duncan was a well-known patron of this establishment.

This was a truth that none of them could bring themselves to accept.

Their preconceived notions were that Duncan was a loser who couldn't even afford a decent outfit.

What kind of loser would be a Maybach store's outstanding client?

They couldn't believe what they were seeing!

In the beginning, they even doubted the manager's identity. Then they witnessed that everyone in the store was courteous to him. As a result, the manager was real.

"Congratulations! So you've managed to embarrass a saleslady. In return, you get the superb driving ability."

Duncan was taken aback when he suddenly heard a voice echoing in his ear.

Was it possible that the system might give him excellent skills as rewards?

Only tangible rewards were initially available to Duncan, but he soon realized that the system had much more to offer. He didn't anticipate it to give him abstract abilities!

Getting the reward was a pleasant surprise.

Duncan's head was overwhelmed with information before he had a chance to process it all.

After a brief moment of pain, Duncan rapidly assimilated the knowledge.

"Mr. Anderson? Mr. Anderson?"

Moss called out to Duncan when he noticed the latter's expressionless face.

"Oh. My mind is on something else. Take me to the vehicle, please. The clock is ticking, and I have a busy schedule."

When Duncan heard Moss's voice, he instantly regained his composure and smiled at him.

"Right this way, sir."

After Moss's courteous nod, Duncan was escorted by Moss himself.

When they witnessed this, the security personnel who were trying to evict Duncan were taken aback.

They were dumbfounded to see the manager escort someone.

It had been a long time since they had seen this spectacle.

Most employees may recall just one previous encounter with the management, which occurred a few years ago in their recollection. Moreover, the customer was a high-ranking member of the government.

It wasn't long before the security personnel understood that Duncan was an extremely valuable customer.

They were overwhelmed with a sense of dread. If they'd forced him to leave, they'd have lost their jobs.

Duncan walked in the direction of Moss. There were still people outside the entrance, including Florrie and the others. Sneering, he added, "I think we should go together. Don't forget to get everything down on tape!"

As Florrie heard this, her pale face twitched.

"Are we going to follow them?" Tanya worriedly lifted her camera. She was also a bit sorry for herself.

"That's a no-brainer. Of course, we're going to follow him. I'm curious about what type of car he has procured,"

Florrie answered as she went after Duncan.

Helplessness was clearly seen in Elliot and Tanya's faces as they peered into one another's eyes.

Both of them nodded and followed Florrie inside the building.

Duncan soon noticed the limited-edition Maybach 62S.

As soon as he laid eyes on it, he was smitten.

When Duncan got a closer look at this Maybach 62S, it was unlike anything he had ever seen before. It was quite long and had an attractive aerodynamic shape.

It had a luxurious and comfy inside, not to mention a beautiful outside!

Those who entered the vehicle were enchanted by the seats, the pedals, the divider, the dashboard, and the unique aroma. The car had a certain luxurious appeal.

There was a sunroof that could be opened and closed, as well as automated partitions and car doors in this vehicle. A team of experts worked on every little detail.

The car's backseat was the most eye-catching feature.

Powder-coated steel and high-end white leather were used to create a beautiful and comfortable backseat. Their top-of-the-line luxuries were all confined to the realm of the fictional.

Duncan sat in the rear seat of the vehicle per Moss's invitation.

He closed his eyes, placed his palms on the smooth white leather recliner, and rested against its plush back. He felt like he was flying first class on a plane.

With this luxury and exclusivity, other automobiles could not compete. Clearly, technology and comfort were perfectly mixed together in this car.

Florrie and the other two were closely following Duncan and had caught a glimpse of the opulent Maybach 62S.

Initially, Florrie felt she was an experienced traveler. Many BMWs and Mercedes Benzes had been in her possession.

However, this Maybach 62S had her in a gasp of delight. She sighed at the thought that her perspective was too narrow, and she needed to broaden it.

It was impossible for any of her vehicles to compete with the Maybach 62S, not even her finest BMW X7!
