Chapter 7 Don't call me that

" Who were you talking to Rowan? I know you were talking to a woman. Who is she?" Esmeralda kept bugging him as they walked to the cabin. They decided to walk back since it wasn't too far from the restaurant.

" I wasn't talking to anybody. I thought I saw someone I know but I was wrong. It was coincidental that we happened to be there at the same time. She was actually searching for her son. " He lied. That was the only way he could stop her from bugging him.

" You should have said so. Do you know how tired I am from bugging you? You're so not fun. " She scoffed.

" I'm so fun. Are you going to the studio tonight?"

" I guess I'll go since my date was cancelled. There's actually nothing to do there but who knows maybe I'll get to meet Alexandria Madden again. She's a really nice person unlike her brother. He's so arrogant. " She pouted at the end.

" That's not a new thing. Heard he sent a girl to jail for seducing him. He's a flirt but I guess he didn't like the girl and she wasn't taking the hint. But now he has a serious girlfriend who doesn't want a girl to step an inch close to him. "

" I thought you weren't a fan of gossips. "

" I'm not. I just happened to come across that article. " Rowan shrugged.

It's a new school week and it's sure gonna be a bad one for Esmeralda. Today was the day of orientation for the new students that means she has to show herself to the whole school. That she was on scholarship was another problem.

Esmeralda walked with her head down into the school to avoid any unnecessary attention. She walked towards the grand hall where the event was taking place and discovered that it had been decorated like there was gonna be a party or maybe there was, who knows. She took a seat at the corner to avoid lots of attention from the students but it only gave her more attention.

" Who's she?"

" She can't afford a decent enough dress. "

" Does she know where she is?"

" She's disgusting."

She could the students say all sorts of things about her but she wasn't in the mood to create a scene not while there were so many people around her.

" You never told me you were a student here too. " A female voice said behind her and she turned. She caught the person's scent and smiled awkwardly.

" Alexandria." She said and stood up. Alexa pulled her into her hug and she widened her eyes. Maybe she's not as bad as the rich kids here.

" Call me Alexa. I prefer that. Let's sit close to each other. I'm sure we're gonna make fast friends. " Alexa said as she took her seat beside her.

" I thought you're supposed to be at the front. " She said.

" I'm not gonna sit at the front when my friend's at the back." Alexa said and she smiled.

" Why are you with her?" An angered voice said and they raised their face to see the girl she had bumped into several times. Even the appearance of the girl would tell you how she is. She was putting on a very short skirt that barely covered her ass on a fish net stock and a top that exposed half of her belly. She looked like a slut who just got laid.

" And how's that your business?" Alexa asked unconcerned.

" You're supposed to sit with me. I'm your brother's girlfriend. " She said raising her voice louder trying to get the attention of the other students.

" Yeah you're my brother's slut. I'd prefer you say that. If you were a girlfriend of my brother, you wouldn't dress like this. " Alexa scoffed and she groaned.

" Are you trying to get on my nerves? Coz it won't work. I'll see what Alex says about this." She said and tried to hit Esmeralda but someone held her hand.

" Take one more step and I won't hesitate punching you. " Aiden said and the girls around cheered.

" She's so lucky. "

" Aiden come kiss me. "

" Tch. He just wants to have her in his bed that's all. She's unlucky. "

" Aiden! Let go!" She yelled.

" Or what Kristen? What are you gonna do? Fight me? Well you can't coz your hands are bound. " Aiden said with a wide smirk.

" Hmph. I'll see what Alex has to say about this."

" He's gonna support you anyways. You guys are a perfect match, ape. " He said and forcefully let go of her hands making her almost crash on the floor.

Alex walked into the hall few minutes later and everyone pretended to forget about what happened earlier. Alex takes Kristen like an egg, that's why he supports everything she does. Even if she kills someone, he'll support her. He's so blind to her flaws. Well who cares? They have the same flaws. Like Aiden said, they're are perfect match.

Alex's eyes scanned the hall searching for Alexa and Aiden since they were supposed to sit with Kristen as it has always been but he was surprised to find them at a corner with that girl. He walked towards them and tapped his sister who was so engrossed in whatever conversation she was having with the girl.

" Why are you here?" He asked her and she scoffed.

" Must I always babysit your girlfriend? I have my own life and I've got a friend now. " Alexa smirked.

" But we're all supposed to sit together where the whole school would notice us. "

" Maybe next semester coz this semester I'm sitting with my baby. I'm tired of the nonsense Kristen pulls off. " Alexa said and turned her attention back to Esmeralda.

" What about you Aiden?" Alex asked and he shrugged .

" Dude I'm more than okay here. I don't know why you have to always be with her. I don't even like her. You can go sit with her, I've found a new friend. "

" Like seriously? You're gonna ditch me for this cheap slut?" Alex said and Esmeralda slapped him out of anger and the whole audience gasped. She just slapped their almighty Alex. Alexa and Aiden smiled in triumph. It's high time someone gave him a slap but they were also worried for her safety. Alex can be brutal sometimes.

" I might not be as rich as you. Heck I'm not even close to you in terms of riches but I won't let you think you can humiliate me or say such words against me. " She said with red eyes and Alex grinned evilly.

" How dare you?! How dare you but my boyfriend?!" Kristen asked charging towards her but Aiden held her. " Let go off me! Let go! I need to teach this slut a lesson. "

" Call me that again and you'll be pleading for mercy soon. " Esmeralda said and Alex scoffed.

" But you're a slut........" Alex said and she slapped him again.

" That should teach you a lesson. " Esmeralda sighed. Alex stood and watched her surprised. No one has ever dared raised his or her hand against but this poor girl just did and he's not gonna let her go free. He pulled her roughly out of the hall and she kept screaming. Alexa tried to hold but he pushed her roughly and she fell. She almost hit her head on the pavement but Aiden was fast enough to get to her.

" Thank you. " She smiled. " We have to do something. "

" He's sure gonna make sure she regrets doing that to him but I kinda enjoyed it. I've long wanted to do that but she did it for me. " Aiden said and Alexa grunted.

" Do something Aiden. Where's Kristen?" Alexa asked when she saw she was gone.

" She was right ..........." His voice trailed off when he didn't see her where she was. She must have gone to find Alex.

Alex pulled Esmeralda into the arts hall and locked the door so no one would interrupt him.

" What are you going to do to me?" She asked fearfully and he scoffed. She was so bold when she slapped him and now she's afraid.

" I'm gonna make sure you regret doing that to me. How dare you?! Who do you think you are? You're nobody?! Your father's nobody, your family's nothing. Your mother's a nobody. " He said and she bursted out crying.

" Stop! Stop! I'm sorry. I let my anger control me. I'm sorry. Please don't talk about my mother again. " She said in tears and she looked so pitiful crying on the ground.

" You can humiliate me and you don't want me to talk about your mother. Is that your weakness?"

" Punish me some other way, just don't talk about her. " She sniffed and she smirked.

" Oh I will. " He said and pushed her face. She felt her lips bleed from the punch.

" That for number one. " He said and kicked her knees and she cried in pain. " That's for number two. " He said. He was about pulling her hair when the door opened.

" I thought I locked it. " He grunted.

" You did. I'm not about to let you kill this girl. Please let her go for my sake. " Alexa said as she walked closer to him.

" I'm not done with her. " He groaned.

" Alex please. " She pleaded and he looked her once more before he dropped his hand defeated.

" Tell her to watch her hand next time. " He said and walked out of the hall. He passed Aiden without sparing him a glance and he sighed.

" Are you okay?" Alexa asked but she kept crying. She hugged her and allowed her cry all she wanted before she helped her cleaning her face and arranging her clothes. They went back to the hall and the orientation started almost immediately.
