Chapter 8 A Young Man With Profound Background

"Hey, stop! Do I look that horrible?" Rhett was so pissed off that he stood in front of the taxi and looked at the driver viciously.

He had been standing under the scorching sun for more than ten minutes now, trying to hail a taxi.

The driver pulled over slowly. But he unexpectedly released the brakes the next second, intending to slip away.

Rhett was so angry that he jumped up in front of the car to stop it.

"I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean to drive away. I made a mistake. Instead of stepping on the brakes, I unintentionally stepped on the accelerator," the driver hurriedly explained as soon as he stuck his head out of the car window.

"Are you a fool? Or do you think I'm a fool?" Before the driver could slip away again, Rhett opened the door and got in.
