The Super Bodyguard And His Campus Belle

Author: : Ade Bacon
Genre: Modern
In all of the Iroc Continent, I was the strongest mercenary. But suddenly my grandfather assigned me to be a campus belle's bodyguard. Her name was Christine. Initially, she didn't want me around and even tried to drive me away, but her father stopped her. On my first day as her bodyguard, she went to the bank and gave me a million dollars to drive me away, but I refused. I didn't come to her for money! Unexpectedly, several vicious robbers broke into the bank. She cried for help and told me to call the police, but I was skilled enough to have them on their knees all on my own. Christine was dumbfounded, but she was still unimpressed. "So what if you're good at fighting? Just leave me alone!" I replied, "Don't you understand? You're going to die without me!" The next day, I found a bomb in her car and a gunman who hid around the corner. Again, I saved her from the attack. The distrust in her eyes was wiped out. "Alas, I might as well give up on this job for how dangerous it turned out to be!" But this time, Christine begged me, "Please, don't leave me!"

Chapter 1 The Strange Man

Rhett Scott was in a very bad mood now. He missed his cozy life in the Iroc Continent.

He missed going hunting in the forest with his friends, where they drove a pickup truck, held an AK47 in their hands, and chased lions and hippos.

Every time he heard the sound of the gun, he felt like his life was so unrestrained.

At night, they gathered around a bonfire and ate delicious barbecue, playing with the Iroc girls.

When he danced to the music, he could release his emotions, and he felt so happy.

Rhett really didn't know what his grandfather was thinking.

He didn't understand why his grandfather asked him to go to Ionia to be a bodyguard for a rich lady.

Wasn't it ridiculous? He was a powerful mercenary in Iroc, but he would soon have to work as a humble bodyguard.

Rhett was now in Navori, the capital of Ionia.

Since there were numerous colleges and universities in this place, there was always a shortage of transportation every school season.

Rhett hailed a taxi. After giving the driver the address, he leaned against the passenger seat and closed his eyes to rest.

Before long, the driver picked up other passengers. A young man and woman got in and sat in the back seat.

"You are more beautiful than the pictures online,"

said the sly-looking man to the young woman next to him.

"Let's have dinner first. Then we'll go to my place to take the poodle. I'll give it to you for free. What do you think?"

As he spoke, the man looked at the hourglass figure of the young woman up and down greedily.

"No, I've agreed to pay for your dog. I won't take it for nothing,"

said the young woman, shaking her head decidedly.

When the man noticed that she didn't pay much attention to him, he felt snubbed and looked away.

He looked at the shirtless Rhett in front, who was wearing only shorts and slippers.

"Hey, buddy, are you a college student too? Why are you dressed so casually?"

"I'm here to work," Rhett answered perfunctorily.

The man curled his lips and said almost inaudibly, "Do you work on a construction site?"

There were many white-collar elites in Navori. Only some part-time construction workers had such a habit of hanging around shirtless.

Thinking of this, the sly-looking man suddenly felt a sense of superiority.

"Just continue flirting with your net friend. Don't bother me," Rhett said and waved his hand like fanning a fly away.

"You..." The man felt humiliated being underestimated by a part-time worker.

"With your awful character, you will never be successful for the rest of your life. You can at most glean and collect scraps at the gate of our school."

Rhett glanced at him and retorted, "If you work as a security guard in a bank after graduation, your disgusting face will affect the clients' mood and reduce the bank's performance.

I suggest you find a job in the zoo. Stay in the cage every day, let tourists appreciate your face, and take some photos. That's the most suitable job for you."

The man was so angry that his face turned red. "You're only good at chicanery. You are not a real man after all."

"Oh, it sounds like you're a real man. Then why do you bring Triazolam pills and Viagra with you when hanging out with a woman?"

Rhett said leisurely, glancing at the sly-looking man's pocket.

The man was shocked, wondering how Rhett knew what was in his pocket.

He got so panicky that he suddenly punched Rhett.

"Shut up! I don't know what you're talking about."

The man didn't know that he was unlucky to provoke Rhett, who was in a bad mood.

Rhett suddenly pulled the handbrake, making the car stop.

The man was caught off guard and bumped his forehead on the roof of the car. He flew into a rage. He raised his head and looked at Rhett fiercely.

Rhett released the handbrake and got out of the car. Then he dragged the man out and threw him to the ground.

The sly-looking man got up and looked at Rhett viciously. He made a posture, getting ready to fight with Rhett in close combat.

Rhett stepped forward and grabbed the man's arm with one hand and the man's foot with the other.

He lifted the man as if he was a professional weightlifter.

Then after glancing at the roadside lawn in the distance, he threw the sly-looking man there.

The man drew a perfect parabola in the air, landed on the lawn, and screamed desperately. Then he made no sound.

Rhett returned to the car calmly and ordered the driver, "Drive."

At first, he only wanted to see if his X-ray vision was still effective in Ionia.

But he unintentionally glanced at the man's pocket and saw the things inside the man's wallet. He found that the man was a scumbag.

'Well, I'm just doing a good deed,' he thought and shrugged his shoulders.

"Will he be okay?" the young woman in the back seat asked timidly, looking at Rhett.

"Do you feel sorry for that lecher? Do you need me to help you get out of the car too?" Rhett asked without looking back.

"No, no, no. I actually don't know him personally. I only wanted to buy a poodle online. He said he had one, so I came here to make a deal with him."

The young woman paused for a moment, then continued to explain in a low voice, "And he said he is a senior in our school."

She was afraid that Rhett, who looked violent in her eyes, would also throw her out of the car.

"Well, you should always be mindful of the harm others might do to you. That man asked you to go to his place to take the dog. Do you think you can safely leave after you go there? You are too naive."

Rhett picked up the pills the man left in the car, threw them to the young woman, and said, "Search these online, you silly girl!"

The young woman was so startled that she immediately took out her phone to check.

After a while, her face turned deathly pale. She didn't expect that they were sleeping pills and aphrodisiacs.

She gave Rhett a complicated look.

If she didn't meet this bad-tempered, ruthless, and violent man today, she would be in trouble.

"We're here. It's four hundred dollars," the taxi driver said to Rhett calmly as he stopped the car.

'No matter how strong he is, he's still new in Navori. He will definitely be deceived to give me more money than he should,' the driver thought inwardly.

"Do you have money? Lend me some first. I know you're a student at Navori University. I'll pay you back in the future,"

Rhett said to the young woman casually.

It was his first time borrowing money from a woman, and it was all his grandfather's fault.

His grandfather kicked him out of Iroc without even giving him a chance to put on a shirt, let alone take his wallet.

No wonder he was regarded as a part-time construction worker.

The young woman opened her wallet without hesitation, counted some cash, and handed it to Rhett.

Rhett nodded at her, handed the money to the driver, and got out of the car.

Then he said, "One hundred for the fare and three hundred for the hood. Check it."

Holding the money in his hand, the driver looked at Rhett in confusion, wondering what Rhett meant by three hundred dollars for the hood.

Without saying anything, Rhett went straight to the front of the car and glanced at the driver.

Then he clenched his fist and smashed the hood hard.

He ripped a hole on the iron hood effortlessly as if it was just a piece of paper.

Rhett pulled out his hand and smashed it on the hood again, ripping another hole.

He punched the hood again and again with a constant strength.

The driver looked at the severely damaged hood, his heart beating wildly in horror.

He had been a taxi driver for so many years, but it was his first time meeting such a violent passenger.

The hood of the car was not made of foam or planks but of iron.

Where did this man come from? Were all young construction workers as strong as him?

The driver felt very regretful. He didn't know if Rhett's iron fist would land on him later.

He broke out in a cold sweat, glancing at Rhett from the corner of his eye from time to time. He was so scared to have eye contact with Rhett.

His heart couldn't bear this kind of stimulation.

"Debbie Jones of Navori University, right? I'll pay you back in the future."

Rhett had already vented his emotions, so he stretched out his hand, waved to the back, then walked away.

Debbie watched his receding figure, feeling a little moved. She thought he was really special.

She looked down at the name on her school ID card and thought of something.

Her slender and fair neck gradually turned crimson.

Chapter 2 First Time To Meet The Campus Belle

"Are you looking for someone?" Danny Potter opened the small gate of the villa and looked at the shirtless young man outside.

"If this is No. 11, North Street, then I'm not in the wrong place. I'm the bodyguard for the woman in this house,"

Rhett said like a hooligan, looking at the old man who seemed to be a housekeeper.

"You're the bodyguard that Mr. Stewart hired for Miss Stewart? Please wait a moment." Danny was obviously surprised, wondering if he was making a mistake.

The young man in front of him didn't look like a bodyguard at all.

Rhett also looked at Danny speechlessly.

He was surprised to realize that the old men nowadays were quite fashionable.

Danny had to confirm Rhett's identity, so he took out his phone and made a video call to his master. He even faced the camera on Rhett several times.

After repeatedly confirming it, he looked at Rhett with a big smile and said, "Mr. Scott, please come in. Miss Stewart happens to be at home because it's a holiday."

Rhett followed Danny into the villa. When he got in, he looked around.

He told himself that he was not too aggrieved to live in such a big house, making himself feel like he owned the house.

The corners of Danny's mouth twitched as he looked at Rhett. He didn't understand why Mr. Stewart hired such an unreliable person to protect Miss Stewart.

"Miss Stewart, Mr. Scott is here." Rhett followed Danny's voice and looked at the woman he was talking about.

The woman was standing by the window, looking outside. Her long hair was fluttering with the wind. She wore a green floral top and white tight pants.

Her toes were exposed from her slippers, and they looked as delicate as shelled eggs. Such a girl with ethereal beauty couldn't be found in Iroc.

She slowly turned around and looked at Rhett expressionlessly.

Then she frowned and said coldly, "Danny, tell Dad that this man is not capable. Ask him to find someone else."

Christine Stewart didn't understand why her father hired such a man with a thin and frail body to be her bodyguard.

He even came to see his employer shirtless and wearing only shorts and slippers. There must be something wrong with this man's brain.

Before Danny could say something, Rhett stepped forward, looked at Christine, and said, "You're such a witless young woman. The first lesson I'll teach you today is that women should never casually say that a man is not capable.

Because once a man proves his capacity to you with his actions, you will be in trouble. Understand?"

After saying this, Rhett walked towards the long leather sofa.

When he passed by the coffee table, he picked up an apple and took a bite. Then he lay down on the sofa leisurely, still holding it in his hand.

"My name is Christine Stewart, not witless young woman. Now, please get out of my house. Don't make my sofa dirty,"

Christine said. She walked up to Rhett and looked at him coldly.

"Alright, witless girl." Rhett leaned over and looked at Christine closer. He saw her delicate face turn red because of anger.

Her big eyes flickered fiercely, and her small mouth gasped for air. Apparently, she was really angry.

Christine suddenly turned around and shouted to the small room behind her, "Caesar, Karl, bite him!"

"Woof! Woof! Woof!" Two big dogs suddenly jumped out of the room and rushed towards Rhett.

"Miss Stewart, get them back quickly before they hurt someone," Rhett immediately sat up and said to Christine with a smile.

"Are you scared of them? You are capable, right? But anyway, it's okay. If they bite you, I'll pay for your medical expenses. I have a lot of money," Christine sneered at Rhett, who looked like a rogue in her eyes.

"In that case, I won't be polite anymore." Rhett suddenly threw the apple away and rushed to the two dogs in a flash.

He moved so fast that the dogs were stunned for a while before they realized that this human was provoking them. They immediately pounced on him fiercely.

Rhett looked at the lawn outside the villa and ran out. The two fierce dogs followed him.

Watching Caesar and Karl chase after him, Christine hesitated. What if he got bitten seriously?

But when she recalled how Rhett behaved like a hooligan after he entered the villa, her heart hardened again. She thought he only deserved a punishment. If he really got bitten, she would call the dogs back at once.

Rhett ran several laps around the lawn. He only wanted to play with the two dogs, but he didn't expect that it would become an endless game. He became a little annoyed after running for so long.

He suddenly stood still and stared at the two dogs quietly.

The dogs realized that their opportunity had come. They took action separately. One ran towards Rhett, and the other jumped high in the air and pounced on his neck.

"You beasts! I will teach you how to be a good dog." Rhett suddenly took two steps to the left and opened the lid of the black trash can in the corner of the lawn with his left hand.

Then he grabbed the neck of the dog that pounced on him with his right hand and threw it into the trash can.

Rhett quickly stepped back after dealing with one dog.

When the other dog bared its teeth and ran to him, he didn't move. Instead, he lifted his right foot and kicked it away.

The dog flew into the trash can accurately, accompanying the first one.

The lid of the trash can automatically closed because of the vibration.

Rhett walked towards Christine, clapping his hands.

"Now that I'm here, you don't need these two dogs anymore. How about making them into a bowl of stew for my dinner tonight? Just consider it as welcoming me."

"How dare you do this to them!" Christine glared at Rhett, ran to the trash can in her slippers, and opened the lid to save her beloved dogs.

Rhett watched Christine's receding back for a moment. Then he turned to Danny and commented, "Your Miss Stewart is not so friendly."

"She's also your Miss Stewart," Danny retorted with a faint smile. Just now, he saw how skillful Rhett was in dealing with the two dogs. He knew that Rhett was indeed skillful and that he could be a capable bodyguard.

He felt relieved at once. Christine's safety was the top priority, so he didn't take Rhett's casual behavior seriously.

"It's so boring here. I'm going to take a shower. Just call me when dinner is ready." Rhett rolled his eyes at Danny and left.

Danny shook his head, walked towards Christine, and helped her pick up the dirty and pitiful Caesar and Karl from the trash can.

Feeling sorry for them, Christine took the two dogs to the public toilet of the villa, intending to wash them up.

Caesar and Karl were obviously scared out of their wits. Although they were held by their master now, they still looked around timidly, in fear that the big bad guy would suddenly appear.

Rhett swaggered to the bathroom. As expected, it was very spacious.

He quickly removed his clothes and took a shower.

"Get out of there. I'm going to bathe Caesar and Karl." Rhett was taking a shower leisurely when a cold and ruthless voice suddenly sounded from the outside.

"Hey, what are you whining for? It's not like we are in bed." Rhett walked out impatiently with a bath towel wrapped around his waist.

Chapter 3 Was This A Beauty Club

It was Christine's first time to see an adult man wrapped only in a bath towel.

She was stunned for a while. But when she came back to her senses, she dragged Caesar and Karl into the bathroom and locked the door.

Rhett was so pissed off. It was indeed true that in rich families, dogs were treated better than ordinary people.

He sat on the sofa with the bath towel still wrapped around his waist. The more he thought about it, the more he felt that something was wrong. Why did he have to stop taking a shower halfway?

He looked around, and his eyes suddenly lit up. His gaze fell on a room on the second floor. Then he immediately walked towards the stairs.

When he entered the room and stood in the bathroom, he couldn't help clicking his tongue. He was amazed at what he was seeing.

All kinds of underwear were hung in the bathroom, colorful and eye-catching.

Aside from those being hung on the towel rack, some were piled on the washing machine.

It seemed that Christine had a fixed taste. Although there were a lot of undies in the bathroom, they only came in three colors.

"What are you doing here?" Rhett turned around when he heard someone speak behind him and looked at the woman in astonishment.

Rebecca Stone sat on the sofa in the living room and glanced at Rhett who was standing opposite her. Mixed emotions filled her heart.

She worked overtime today, so she came here a little late. As soon as she got here, she went straight to her room. But what she saw was a man standing in the bathroom with an obscene look in his eyes.

She wasn't sure if he had already done something indecent there.

"Humph! I knew that this rascal is not a good person. As soon as he entered the house, he beat Caesar and Karl. And now, he even broke into your bathroom,"

Christine said, looking at Rhett aggressively.

"I can't bear to have a bodyguard like you. Get out of here!"

Rebecca couldn't help glancing at Christine. Actually, if Christine didn't drive Rhett away from the public bathroom, he wouldn't have come to her bathroom.

Rhett, on the other hand, felt helpless. It seemed that he really needed to spare some time to visit a fortune teller.

How could he be so unlucky? All he wanted was to take a shower, but he was driven away from the bathroom twice. He couldn't finish his shower yet.

He secretly stared at Rebecca from head to toe and praised her in his heart.

Rhett was picky when it came to women. But he must admit this time that Rebecca was indeed a beauty.

She seemed to be twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old, and the vitality of a young girl and the charm of a mature woman coexisted in her body.

Her fiery red high heels perfectly matched her black silk stockings and well-tailored professional woman's suit. They showed her personal charm.

But of course, it would be more perfect if she didn't look at him so coldly.

"Wow! The two of you are here. Come on, I've brought you delicious big watermelons. They are in the car now. Hurry, help me carry them in."

When the three of them just looked at each other in silence, a loud and lively voice suddenly sounded, breaking the awkward atmosphere.

Rhett raised his head and saw a pretty and cute young woman open the door and her little head popped in.

She greeted everyone with a sweet smile.

Rhett was stunned, wondering if he had come to a beauty club. Why were there all kinds of beautiful young women here? He suddenly looked forward to his future life here.

"I'll go get them. Let the two beauties have a rest." Rhett took the initiative to help. He made a mistake just now, so he had to do something to make up for it.

"Wait! Who are you? Are you Rebecca's boyfriend or Christine's?" As she asked, the cute young woman in a yellow shirt and a black and white dotted skirt looked at Rhett curiously.

"Shh! Be quiet. Both of them actually want to be my girlfriend, so they are angry at each other now. Let's go to get the watermelons." Rhett walked to the car with her.

"Liar!" The young woman stuck out her tongue, obviously not believing his lie.

"Ha-ha! Here come the watermelons." Rhett cut the watermelons, put them on a plate, and brought them to the living room.

"Hey, Christine, why are you not eating watermelon?" the cute girl asked sulkily when she saw that Christine just ignored the plate of watermelons in front of her.

Christine glanced at her helplessly, reluctantly picked up a slice of watermelon, and started to eat.

Rhett was used to gulping down the food, so he simply cut two watermelons in half and he started stuffing his piece of watermelon into his mouth.

Rebecca put a slice of watermelon on the table, and used a spoon to put a spoonful of it into her mouth.

Then she chewed it slowly and elegantly. Rhett was so amazed watching her.

After taking a few bites, Christine put the watermelon back on the plate and said, "I'm done."

"Witless little girl, that is such a waste!" Rhett exclaimed in a regretful voice and walked up to Christine.

When Christine was in a daze, he grabbed the fork from her hand, picked up her watermelon, and began to eat it with great relish.

Watermelons were rare in Iroc, where he used to live, so he seldom had the chance to eat them.

The three beauties were stunned, watching him gulp down the watermelon left by Christine.

Christine flew into a rage. How dared this bastard use the fork she used just now? It was like indirectly kissing her, right?

She immediately took out her phone and called her father. "Dad, I don't care where you've found this bodyguard. Just tell him to leave now. I don't want to see his face even for a moment.

I will do anything you say. You can make any request. But please, just ask this hooligan to leave as soon as possible."

Rhett kept eating watermelon, but he paid attention to what Christine had said to the person on the other end of the line. He knew that it must be her father she was talking to.

He was Latham Stewart, the CEO of Stewart Group. Rhett had heard about this man from his grandfather before he came here.

"Christine, don't be so self-willed. It wasn't easy for me to convince Mr. Scott to help us. He's not here for money, but for me, okay?

Be a good girl, and don't give him a headache. Treat him well. I'm very busy, so I have to go now." Latham then hung up before Christine could say anything more.

When she heard the beeping sound on the other end of the line, Christine was stunned for a while. When she came back to her senses, she picked up the car keys on the coffee table with a cold face and quickly walked towards the door.

Seeing Christine leave angrily made Rhett realize that he lacked a touch of tenderness towards his new employer.

So he slowly stood up, put his hands in his pockets, and walked out to follow Christine.

Now that he was here, he had to uphold his professional ethics.

"Why are you following me? Fuck off!" Sitting in her car, Christine looked at Rhett, who was standing by the door, disgustedly.

"I take your money, so I help solve your problems. Wherever you go, I'll go with you," Rhett said, looking at her with a faint smile.

Christine was not in the mood to have a conversation with him, so she turned the key to start the engine. Then the Lamborghini roared.

Rhett frowned as he sensed that there seemed to be something wrong with the sound of the engine.

He also had a Lamborghini of the same model in Iroc. But the sound of its engine was purer than that of this one.

Rhett glanced around the car in confusion. Then his eyes suddenly fell on Christine's buttocks.

"What are you looking at?" Christine became more dissatisfied with him, wondering if he was really a bodyguard or just a lecher.

Rhett didn't say anything. He quickly opened the door and pulled Christine out of the car.

She got so furious that she was about to scold him.

However, he suddenly took her hand, dragged her a few steps, and pushed her to the ground.

As soon as she fell to the ground, he pounced on her and pressed her under him to protect her.
