Chapter 5 Strange Lady

Morcant opened his eyes and met himself in a house.

"How did I get here?"

He couldn't remember anything. He looked around. The house wasn't modern. More like a Cabin and it was like a lady occupied it.

It was coloured carton brown with lots of artifacts. There was a table a metre away from him.

"Where's Fred?" He thought.

Suddenly,his stomach rumbled. He was hungry. His hunger soon made him perceive an aroma coming from the inner part of the room.

"OOOOOUUUUU!!!!"

He heard a howl. Then a bulb lit in his head.

He remembered everything....

He then snapped into a flashback.

Gwen heard a howl. One that depicted sorrow. She left her cooking and rushed out.

"What is happening?"

She got to the borders and saw Drawx and Elder Xavier holding a head.

It looked familiar.

As she got closer,she recognized the head.

It was Kim.

Purplish liquid was dripping out of his head. Sorrowful, she howled.

"OOOOOUUUUU!!!"

He remembered everything...

How they were confronted by wolves... Strange ones.

How they fled...

How he was separated from Fred...

How he fell down and blacked out.

Now he got it. Someone must have rescued him and brought him here.

He stood up and went out. He saw a whole different world. Different from the world he was used to.

"Wow." That was what escaped his lips.

He saw people in strange types of clothes. Clothes made of raw animal skin. Houses were made of clay with roofs of Raffia.

"Is this Africa?" He thought at first but shrugged it off when he saw white complexioned people among them.

He heard a howl again.

"Are there wolves around here?" He thought as he passed a tongue over his dry lips.

His stomach worms cried out. He was damn hungry. He entered into the cabin and went to the area where the aroma of roasted meat was coming from.

He viewed the large chunk of meat . It was done.

Immediately,his hunger instincts began to work. He grabbed the meat and began to devour it.

In few minutes,he was through and was thirsty. His eyes ran all over the room and he saw a cup filled with water. He took it and gulped down the content.

Soon he slept off.

An atmosphere of silence filled the room. Drawx had called meeting for the wolf council.

Gwen continually caressed her bead. She had just noticed it; one of the three white beads was black band one was flickering red.

Elder Xavier was the first to speak.

"G..Ood morning wolves." He stuttered,still trying to recover from what he had seen. Kim's head was placed at the middle. It was green in colour and dripping purplish fluid.

Their all knew that purple stuff was responsible for Kim's death.

But what was the liquid?

"It is shocking that we recorded the death of a wolf after receiving blessing from Selene." He said in a grief - stricken tone.

He was replied with "Hmmm's".

The wolf council was made up ten cabinet members,Drawx, Gwen,Elder Xavier and seven others. These three were the main pillars of the council.

Elder Xavier was sad;it was obvious,Drawx too was but Gwen kept a straight face. It was quite surprising how she was able to do that.

Nothing was discussed that morning.

Morcant was on a high mountain that had another mountain opposite it and a valley in between. On the valley were two armies.

Morcant was commanding one.

Beside him was a woman band a boy of about seven years old.

"LET THIS WAR BEGIN!!"

He shouted and the two armies clashed.

A firm tap woke him up from his dream. He slowly opened his eyes.

He was surprised to see green eyes peering closely at him.

It was woman.

He yawned and fueled her anger.

"HOW DARE YOU EAT MY MEAT?" She questioned loudly.
