Chapter 2 Mission to the city

Gwen sips from her tea as she watches the two brothers before her. She rarely invited people into her cabin but when she did, it was for something crucial and today was one of those days.

"Omegas." She says, dropping the cup of tea in her hand. Before her were Tim and Kim,two omega brothers. They were unsettled and restless but she didn't mind.

She brings out a can from her pocket. It was blue in colour.

"What is that?" Tim asks.

"A perfume." Gwen answers sharply.

"You mean you called us here to show us a perfume." Kim says.

"Did Drawx tell you you're joining the troop."

"Yes." Tim says. "We hate fighting."

"But can you sneak?" Gwen asks

"Yes."Kim says

"It's our habit."

"You guys are gonna be spies." The duo were shocked.

"What?"

"Yes spies."

"On who?"

"Vampires." Gwen responds, taking another sip from her tea.

"Okay but how are we gonna do that? They'll definitely recognize our scent." Tim says.

Gwen smiles. She knew it.

Although omegas were slothful and lazy. They had brains.

"That's the essence of the perfume."

"Will it make our scent disappear?"

"Precisely."

"So how and where are we gonna see the vamps." Gwen brings out two beads from her pocket.

"What are those? Beads?" Kim asks.

"Yes but not ordinary ones. They're called LINKERS and there are only three in the whole universe." She shows them her left hand. On it was a red coloured bead that was glowing. It had three white beads in the middle..

"Where did you get it?"

"None of your business."

"So how'll this help us."

"You'll know." Gwen says. "No one must know of this mission. Meet me here at dawn."

"Dad! Mom!" Morcant shouts. It was his parents.

"I've missed you guys so much."

"We've missed you too son." Dr Radolph says.

"Too bad you didn't attend my graduation." Morcant complains.

"We were planning on coming yesterday but our flight got delayed, we're sorry son." Kate says.

"Okay."

********Gwen picks up a bag and moves out of her cabin. She meets Rim and Kim at the door. Together they walked to the borders. The brothers were whistling.

"Shut it sloths." Gwen shouts and they both clamp their mouth shut. Soon they get to the borders. Gwen opens the bag as she puts it down to reveal it's content.

They were clothes.... Not ordinary clothes but the type worn by people in the city. The modern ones.

"You'll were these."

"How did you get them?"

"None of your business." She says." Now take off your clothes." They both look at her.

"What?" They chorus and she glares at them, partially revealing her fangs. That was more than a thousand spoken warnings.

"Okay." They start taking off their clothes while Gwen looks. After they finish dressing,she gives them a warning.

"Don't take off these beads, you know the full moon is tonight. They'll protect you from the effect of the werewolf curse."

"Right."

She sprays the perfume on their body and hands them the beads.

"Wear them."

The brothers wear the beads and feel a tingling sensation all over their bodies.

"Oh it tickles." Tim says

"Quit playing and start going."

Morcant and Fred had packed their bags and were about going. They were going on Fred's bike.

"Good bye dad." Morcant waves.

He takes off with Fred on a journey to the woods.

A journey....Hmph.

They crossed the bridges,over the highways until they got to their destination. But what they saw was unexpected.

"Hi masters." Tim and Kim were shocked. They look around.

"Who are you?." Their beads glow red. The voices were from the beads.

"My name's Linker VR0012." Tim's own says.

"Mine is VR0011."

"Our job is to link our masters with supernatural creatures. We can also make you invisible."

The duo were shocked. When they got the strength to talk,they chorus.

"YOU CAN TALK?????"
