Chapter 6 Talent

I break into a smile... I did it I beat him and saved Jay but most importantly I finally got to kill someone.......

Its exhilarating, the rush of taking a life makes you feel so..... Powerful and best of all I got my revenge on this bastard.

Jay and keiko rush over to me "that was amazing!!" They both say at the same time "how did you do that, we saw you getting beat up we didn't even see you pull out your blade how did you cut him so many times?" Yuma asks..... Where did she come from didn't even sense her presence..... She may have lost to jay but maybe she has some hidden talents... we'll get back to that later....

"As I said, I'm fast" I reply her while trying to catch my breath "plus this blade...... its amazing its not as heavy as most katana's making it more swift with movement for easy and fast attacks plus its actually two blades and once you separate them they're even lighter.

" looks like you chose right!!" Jay said with a big goofy smile.

I smile back "yeah I did".

" You defeated him and I am a man of my word, Jay you my get a second chance" said the Master.

Its hard to read cause she has this emotionless poker face but I could see you Yuma was scared..... Scared of death. "Will Jay still be fighting Yuma" I shout, they stare at me at the same time, the master looks at me and replies "of course"

"Your just setting him up to fail!!" I yell.

He stares at me with curiosity "Explain" he says.

"Of course Jay couldn't kill Yuma, compared to him she's as weak as they get she never posed as a challenge she made things to easy for him..... She wasn't worth killing cause she didn't make him fight for his life........ If the fear that you might die isn't there where is the blood lust supposed to come from.... We all know you like an entertaining match, give him someone worth the struggle." Yuma looks both relieved and angry (did I say something wrong??) But again difficult to tell her face has barely any emotion but I can feel her leaf green eyes trying to make my head explode.

The master looks intrigued...... I think he bought it.

"Ok, I will change his opponent...... He will be fighting a senior, Suki."

Suki??! The senior that likes to pick on Jay what is with masters selection, first he chose Jays crush then he chose my kidnapper as my opponent now he chooses Jays bully.......... Hmmm

I wonder if he ever intended for Jay to kill Yuma maybe he knew about Jays crush on her and put them against each other so he wouldn't kill her forcing me too jump in to protect him when they threatened his life........ But how would he know I would offer to fight a teacher??

Hmmm......... Maybe I'm just over thinking it no one here is that smart.

"All of you go sit down while the next people fight!" Says the master.

Jay walks up to me "I can't do this bro, I can't take a life" he says with fear in his eyes.......

I laugh "ha ha ha...... I know you can't"

"Wait what??" Says Jay

He looks angry and confused.... "So your just setting me up to fail" he says.

"You gave me a second chance......... To get myself killed???!!?

" cool your jets bro" I say in Japanese

"I'm gonna kill him" I say

"How are you gonna do that?" He asks

"I'll be in the shadows bruh" I say then wink at him while smirking.

I then run as if going to take my seat then disappear into the shadows.

"Begin!!!"

Suki moves fast and swiftly Jay barely saw him move but he was already behind him about putting a blade to his neck......... Jay caught his hand and slammed him to the ground suki quickly reversed it putting Jay in an arm lock....

Jay struggles to get up while suki struggles to keep him down

But Jay uses his other arm to push himself up and fling suki off himself

As suki falls to the ground Jay rushes over to try and stomp his face but suki grabs his leg and flips him over almost slamming him to the ground............ Almost

Jay uses one hand to break his fall and support his body as he flips suki over and kicks him with the other leg mid air........ I've never seen Jay fight so aggressively...... Heck I've never seen him angry...... he might not even need me to help him with the kill.

As suki begins to fall to the ground Jay again supports himself with one hand and kicks him to the ground.....

But Suki is one tough mother....... You know the word

He bounces back up immediately while throwing shurikens at Jay but Jay catches all of them with his bare hands one by one.......

Damn bro

He rushes at suki but suki gives him a powerful kick to the stomach that would take anyone down but the thing about me and jay is when we're angry...... We barely feel pain

Jay grabs his leg and twists into a lock and snapped his ankle without hesitation....... Suki screams in pain "aaaaaaahhhhhh"

Crud he's going to do it he's going to kill him...... Don't know why all of the sudden I don't want him to do it

maybe its cause if he does he'll never forgive himself...... He'll never be the same

Jay jumps and tries to stab suki but suki grabs his hand and punches him away, he then drops a smoke bomb

He has sealed his faith.....

I rush over through the smoke grab Jay's bow and crack Suki's skull open and return to my seat before any of them know what happened.

By the time the smoke cleared Jay looked confused and then he looked at me as his jaw dropped....

I just smirked

Feeling real good about myself and confident in my speed...... Until.......

Yuma and keiko snuck up behind me and both whisper in my ears

"I saw that" bullet to my ego

"Saw what I asked" trying not to cry

"Your display of talent" says keiko

"Normal people wouldn't have seen it but I guess the two of us have eagle like eyes" Yuma says while smirking

Ok its just the two of them no one else could have seen such an impressive display of talent keiko is a pro stalker and Yuma has eagle eyes due to her amazing archery so of course they saw it......

"I saw it too" said a distant voice

It was at that moment one tear drop unwillingly fell across my cheek I quickly wipe it before the girls see....

"We saw that too!" Says Yuma and Keiko

I try to jump of the balcony while weeping "lord take me now I'm a failure!!!" They both hold me and say "Stop you egotistical idiot!!!"

A hand pulls me back its Hijiro "don't beat yourself up dumb ass of course I saw it" he says while smirking "fine, but if one more person says that I'm jumping" I reply

Jay runs up to me and shouts "hey kai I saw what you did ther......."

They all hold me as I try to jump while crying in a why that made everyone laugh " let go of me i wanna die!!!!" I shout

"Stop you idiot!!!!" They shout

You did it right in front of him of course he caught a glimpse, we barely saw what happened we just saw a glimpse of third party movement and guessed it was you!!" Says hijiro

"Promise" I say looking sad with puppy dog eyes...... Don't judge me you jerk

"Promise" they all say

Then yuki walks up to me and says "hey kai I saw........"

I immediately jump of the balcony and they're all dumbfounded.......

"I was just gonna say I saw his kunai on the ground???" Says yuki

They all rush to check...... And that's when we realize we are at the bottom floor "ow" says me in silent pain "Yuki... You....... Eaves dropping.......... bastard........ you did...... that on.......... pur....pose"I say. Yuki let's out a giant goofy looking grin " maybe" he stretches the word.

I get up and scrunch my eyes at him "I should have let you fall during the climb test" I say ..... "But you didn't" says yuki still with that grin.

"Wow!!!!" We heard everyone scream

"That Akano girl just finished her fight in less than ten seconds" says random student

We rush in....

I open my eyes in shock........

I've never heard of this Akano girl but yet she just took down a top student in less than ten seconds.......
