Chapter 5 Show no weakness

The test continues Jay is going next

His opponent is....... Oh crud its Yuma his crush, will he be able to do it, he has his poker face on let's see.

It's time for them to pick their weapons. Jay picks up a bow staff good choice he's a pro with the bow Jay is my equal in most things martial arts this should be an interesting fight

But Yuma is picking up a bow and arrow.... They're allowing her to use that, so unfair.

"Begin!!!" an assassin yells.

Yuma fires her arrows rapidly with precision, Jay starts to spin his bow staff he strikes each arrow flawlessly breaking them and getting closer as he does so. Oh and when I said it wasn't fair...... I meant for her.

He ducks, rolls then springs into a side flip over her then strikes at her torso but she blocks with her bow

"Did you think it was gonna be that easy" says Yuma "Don't insult me!!!" She yells then kicks him in the face.

I could tell he was holding back but still Yuma is one of the top students but she's mostly book smart.

She pulls out something from her pouch and throws it on the floor a cloud of smoke is released.

So that's what she was doing in the chemistry lab after classes yesterday the smoke clears but they're both gone.

I watch carefully in the silence...... Yuma comes flying out of the shadows and crashes onto the floor and continuously rolls when she stops I see Jay jumping out of the shadows souring high with his staff prepared to crack her skull open but once his feet touches the ground he doesn't do it.

"Finish her!!!" The master yells.

Jay drops his bow staff and yells "no!!!!". I knew it, he was weak this whole time I should have listened to my instincts I should have ..........

" you refuse?!! " yells the master "Kill him" says the master. In that moment my body moves on its own I find myself behind Jay with my kunai's in my hands. What am I doing we're going to die "kai nashi!!" The master yells in Japanese"you choose to die with him!!" I reply in Japanese" I want to plead with you, give him another chance, he'll do it I promise I'll make him strong!!" Jay looks at me and we stare at each other as if communicating through eye contact he looks at me as if saying "I can't do it" and I give him a stare that says "trust me" I say to the master "how about a deal!!!" The master looks interested "what kind of deal" he asks.

"If I beat a teacher you give him another chance but if I lose you take my life in place of his"

Jay grabs my shoulder and says In a low voice " A teacher are you crazy, you wanna fight a pro???"

" I can do this, you know me I can't be beat" I smirk at him "Dude this isn't the time for jokes you saw them at the climb test they're monsters, they're fast and they are ruthless you'll get destroyed" he replies. "Your right, I won't do it let's just give up that silly idea and fight an army of them instead, I'm sure that will work out better" I say with a sarcastic smile.

"Fine!" Says Jay "but you better not lose".

"I agree to your terms" says the master....

"Fighters step in the battle field" says the master. A giant smile and a deadly look appear in my eyes when I see my opponent, Haru sensei. The man who beat me to tears on my first day and the man who has shown me nothing but wickedness since then..... I am going to enjoy this.

"Before we start let me ask you a question" says Haru sensei. He continues "why fight with no chance of victory?".

I reply him " only one of us can answer that question..... And its not me".

They tell me to pick a weapon. I see an interesting katana its handle is longer then a usual blade.

"Interesting choice" says one of the assassins "That sword is a replica of the Nejire no ha, the twisted blade. the extra long handle is because it contains two swords all you have to do is twist and pull the first sword is like a sheath to the second but don't worry separating them does not reduce the strength. Nobody knows where the original blade is but we do know it was stollen by a man who claims to be a hero he calls himself " Blaze" by now he must have unlocked the secrets of the twisted blade" said the assassin. I stare at the assassin and think.....

'Did I ask you for a history lesson?? sheesh learn to shut the hell up nobody gives a rats ass'.

I face my opponent...

"Begin!!!"

In a matter of seconds he appears in front of me and slashes our blades meet, I front flip over him then immediately my feet touches the ground I jump and try to land a side kick to his head but he grabs my leg and slams me to the ground at the moment of impact he picks me up and throws me in the air then before my feet can touch the ground he kicks me to the wall...

Blood flies out of my mouth he then charges at me and stumps my chest I'm gasping for air as I see Jay and keiko staring at me worried. The assassin then grabs me from the wall jumps In the air and kicks me to the ground then as he lands he says "I'll ask again..... Why fight with no chance of victory?!!".

He then charges at me with his blade to finish me off........ But he falls to his knees in pain. He's contemplating on how and why his body is in so much pain..... He then looks all over his body and See's cuts all over his body.... I see the shocked look in his eyes and I smirk

" how?!" He asks in pain.

"You didn't think you were the only fast one did you. Biology has always been my favorite subject 100 billion neurons in the human body and today I get to search for each and everyone" I reply "as I said to your previous question, only one of us can answer that question and its not me" I say trying to look badass.

I rush to him with a kick to his face he unwillingly does a back flip then I jump in the air about to deliver a Superman punch but he rolls and I miss he then kicks me in the face picks himself up and punches me In the face and stumps my chest

I then roll back and think ' even with a thousand cuts he's still fast... only one thing to do ' I throw my kunai in the air ...... Then as it starts to fall I jump and kick it towards him and disappeared in the eyes of everyone then reappeared behind Haru sensei and grab the kunai before it reaches his face and I put it to his neck then said "You asked me a question earlier now its time for mine" I flipped over to face him with the kunai still to his throat then I ask while looking fiercely at him straight in the eyes "Do you stare death In the eyes and dare to blink?".....

He stares at me In fearful silence for some time his eyes widened with fear and shock then for a split second his eyes shut and I slit his throat " Oops you blinked" I say with his blood splattered on my face.
