Chapter 5 Feeling Moved

Hearing Dorothy's even snoring, he was very irritable. He wanted to quarrel, fight, or destroy something. What's worse, he wanted to scold Dorothy severely, or even beat her up.

But they were now at his father's house. He dared not mess around.

He schemed in his heart that after bringing Dorothy back to City S, he would find a way to divorce slowly. He should marry Blake Cotton no matter what.

But if he took Dorothy back to City B, he couldn't let Blake know that he was married. What should he do?

Zack was so sad that he didn't fall asleep all night.

As it gradually dawned, their wedding night finally came to the next day.

After breakfast, Zack's mother called him over and said, "Zack, once you and Dorothy send your Uncle Robin to the new home, you will take Dorothy back to City B. When you get there, remember to buy her some clothes and treat her well. I warn you, don't bully her, or your father won't spare you, do you hear me?"

Zack said, "Yes."

But Dorothy said, "Mom, I want to stay and take care of my father."

Mrs. White said, "You don't need to worry about your father. We've got everything settled for him and also hired him a nanny. His residence is close to ours. I will visit him every day to take care of everything he needs. You can go with Zack, don't worry."

Robin also said, "Dorothy, don't worry about me. You are now Zack's wife, so you should follow him there."

Dorothy was out of choice. In her hometown, there was a popular old school of thought, namely, a woman followed her husband no matter what his lot was.

Now that she was married to Zack, she believed she could only go with him.

Hogan said to Dorothy as well, "Girl, if the bastard treats you badly, call me and I will break his leg."

Dorothy's face was red, and she didn't know what to say.

Mrs. White said kindly, "Dorothy, don't worry. When you arrive at City B, just tell Zack what you need. If he refuses you, you can call me and I will scold him."

"Thank you, mom."

Mrs. White also said meaningfully, "Zack, you have to work harder. I'm still waiting for a grandson."

Zack was blushing when his mother said that. He replied vaguely that even he didn't know what he was muttering.

Dorothy looked at Zack's mother, and then Zack. Knowing that Mrs. White wanted her to have a baby as soon as possible, her face flushed.

The house Hogan bought for Robin was not far from this house, so Zack and Dorothy sent Robin over.

Dorothy saw that the house was on the first floor. It was convenient to push the wheelchair in and out. The nanny that Hogan invited had already arrived. She was a neat middle-aged woman.

Zack pushed Robin around in the new house, sharing the advantages and disadvantages of the house with him as he walked, and chatting with him for a while.

Then he took out a card and handed it to Robin, saying, "Dad, this is the card for your living and daily expenses. Whenever you need money, just tell the nanny to push you to the street to withdraw."

Robin hurriedly declined, "I don't need this. The money your father gave me is enough for me to spend for the rest of my life."

Hogan had said that he would bear all the expenses of Robin, so this card was just a gift of Zack as his son-in-law.

"Dad, please, just take it." Zack helped Robin put it in his bag.

Dorothy was very happy to see that Zack was so kind to her father. For a filial girl, if a man treated her family well, she was easy to be touched.

Robin was also aware that it was a bit aggrieved for Zack, a rich man, to marry his daughter. But since the two were married, he could only wish that they would live a happy life.

He taught Dorothy, "Dorothy, since you married Zack, you are the daughter-in-law of the White Family. You have to be obedient and respectful, and you can't do anything that might embarrass their family."

"Also," Robin continued, "Zack is your husband. You have to love him with your heart. He is very busy at work, so you have to take care of him. When he is upset, you have to comfort him. He was afraid that Robin didn't know how to withdraw money with the card, so he gave him some cash money, which was convenient for him to use.
