Chapter 2 What Do You Plan to Say

At first, they had made an agreement that their marriage was just a mere form. As long as one party proposed getting divorced, they could get divorced at any time.

Of course, Colin did not forget about their agreement. However, the way how Lola had stressed specifically made Colin somewhat unhappy in secret.

He narrowed his eyes and knocked against the wall of the cup with his fingertips lightly, "Naturally, there is no problem on my side. But... regarding your grandfather and my grandfather, what do you plan to say to them?"

Lola was startled by his question. To be honest, she hadn't figured out how to talk to the two seniors.

Colin gave a low laugh, "As long as you can handle the two old men, I can divorce you at any time."

Lola was a bit messed up by the faint mockery on his face. What's worse, the man in front of her still looked like he was enjoying himself, sipping the coffee in his cup slowly.

It was clear to him that she couldn't convince their grandfathers.

Lola let out a sigh slowly, "I'll be responsible for clarifying to the grandfathers. Let's get prepared first."

Colin raised his eyes and looked at her. The look in his eyes was a little darker.

Lola pinched her fingers as she planned what to say next in secret.

Originally, she had thought that Colin wouldn't agree. Otherwise, he should have replied to her message a week ago instead of waiting for her to run to him personally to talk about getting divorced.

Unexpectedly, a moment later, Colin lifted his lips slightly, "Good."

Well, did he actually consent so quickly?

Lola, who was still startled, released a sigh of relief quickly, "Thank you."

For the next few days, Lola had been recovering from the jet-lag in the hotel, who never left the room and even finished all three meals in her room. This afternoon, as she was sleeping, she was woken up by a burst of ringing tones.

It wasn't until the ringing had been going on for a while that she fetched her phone and saw that it was Tami's call.

Although she didn't know why this woman had called her all of a sudden, she still picked the call up and politely called out, "Sister-in-law."

Tami, who didn't like to be addressed like this at all, gave a dry laugh, "Do you have time tonight? I want to invite you for a meal."

Although they were family members, Lola had no friendship with Tami at all. Even so, they still belonged to the same family. Since Tami had said so, it was hard for Lola to refuse her.

Tami sent her the address soon. They would meet at a restaurant located on the outskirts of the city, which was somewhat remote. So Lola took a taxi there.

When she arrived at the restaurant, the waiter led her to a private room.

This was a restaurant with landscape scenery. Outside the private room, there was a courtyard. In the courtyard, there was a lotus pond, which was surrounded by rocky mountains and covered by green bamboo. The environment was quite good.

The only flaw is that in early winter, the lotus flowers in the pond had wilted. Only a few red fishes were swimming in the pond.

The idle waiting was boring. So Lola went outside to enjoy the scenery.

Soon, the glass door near the pond was pushed open. And the one who came out of the private room was not Tami but a tall and slender woman.

The woman was dressed in a sexy little black dress at the Chanel brand. Her body figure was curvy and well-maintained. She was wearing a pair of super big black sunglasses. Two flaming red lips below the sunglasses were quite eye-catching.

Lola frowned, "May I ask who you are looking for?"

The woman didn't say anything and slowly took off her sunglasses, revealing a pair of quite distinctly slanted eyes.

Upon seeing the pair of slanted eyes, Lola recognized her immediately. It turned out she was the somewhat well-known model in recent days, Rachel.

Although she had been living abroad, her bestie had often sent her the gossip related to Colin. So she knew that this woman was Colin's new lover in recent days.

It was said that Colin often took her to dinner parties and even gave her a sports car and a luxury house as gifts.

But these were all Colin's private matters, she naturally wouldn't interfere with him, which they had both agreed at the beginning.
