Chapter 5...

I opened the envelope which contained 5000naira and a letter which only said'' Thank you for your accommodation and keeping my secret''. I only chuckled and the little angel wanted to know what happened when I said ''Let's eat'', to divert her attention from the letter.

After eating, she said '' Can I call you small mum?''. I smiled and said ''yes''. A memory came to my view and I thought that my sister was the only one who called me small mummy. After discussing with promise, she said her birthday was in two weeks time and so I didn't want her to feel like she was a nobody. I mean someone without parents. I promised to give her a surprise package and she was glad.

I made up my mind to enrol her in a school because she was like my younger sister who enjoyed schooling. Immediately we finished discussing, Promise yawned and so went to the bedroom and fell asleep. I heard a knock on the door which seemed to be familiar. I tried to recall out of my memory was vain. Though I opened the door but saw no one.

I looked around but my eyes got another enveloped letter at my entrance. When I saw the letter, I quietly recalled the knock. It was like that of potiphar's. It sounded like his, Am I sure?. These questions ran through my mind. Questions like do I love him?, Why am I having this feeling?. What is this sisterly love am having for Potiphar.

I picked up the letter and it said; '' How are you?''. I am sure you want to know about your family. I felt this is the right time you need to know about them. Well, for more information, see me!''. I was shocked. What does Potiphar know about my family?. Is he my brother?. I felt somehow in my mind. Nevertheless, after reading the letter, I threw the paper on the floor and so I ran towards the staircase since the elevator was no longer functioning, going down the stairs. When I got downstairs, I saw a black person with a black hair, so I ran towards the person.
