"Tammy, Tammy, "Tristan called from outside the room I was in.
"Come inside "I replied.
Tristan and Hillary entered the room that's was provided by the school and sat on the bed. Demini high school board members had gotten a huge villa to accommodate everyone for the days we'll be spending. Luckily for me, I got a room to myself cause I hate sharing.
"Hey bud" Tristan greeted as he sat on the bed. "You have a nice room." he complimented.
"Thanks, "I replied.
"Get ready please, we need to leave now for the ancient museum," Tristan informed.
"I'm done. I just need to wear my sneakers and then we are good to go, "I replied to him and wore my sneakers.
"Don't forget to pack up some necessities in your back bag," Hillary added.
"Some necessities such as? "Tristan questioned because he knew what Hillary was capable of packing.
Hillary dumped the whole content of his bag on the bed and began to explain each and everything and its uses.
"This is a torchlight in case of emergency, a pocket knife in case of attack, a pair of socks, insect repellent in case of insect and mosquito bite, and my binoculars," Hillary explained.
"Emergency!"Tristan laughed and fist-bumped me.
"Why are you both laughing?"Hillary asked with a frown on his face.
"Well because we think you are stupid, "I replied to him and he stared at Me like I have lost my mind.
"What do you mean Tammy?" he asked with a scowl on his face.
"Hillary, It not like we are going for some adventure or something. It's an exploration, a field trip which doesn't involve all this torchlight, pocket knife, blah, blah, blah, "I explained to him to let him know that this was a short trip, not an adventure.
"I get. but, a boy is gonna get prepared in case of emergency, "he replied and put back his things into the bag. He bought out a lollipop from his pocket and put it in his mouth.
Tristan and I stared at him with our mouths wide open. He caught us staring and shrugged.
"Anything wrong?" he asked as put out the lollipop from his mouth. Tristan and I both shook our heads in response.
Don't forget one thing about Hillary. He is a foodie."

My friends and I walked outside the room and headed to where the bus was parked. We all entered and settled on our different seats. Soon students began to enter the bus and I knew that sooner or later, a fight was going to start.
"Welcome everyone. How was your sleep last night?" A female teacher from plan high school stood up to address us but none replied to her instead, she was ignored. "I want to tell you all that the ancient museum we are going to is the third biggest and oldest museum In the world and we are going to explore every bit of it. Ain't you excited?" She asked joyfully but nobody uttered anything.
"It seems plan high school teachers tend to say boring stuff," Gary said jokingly and burst into laughter.
"And you think Demini teachers are any better?" A boy from plan high school retorted. "Why do you think you are any better than us?" The boy scoffed and adjust his glasses.
"What are you even saying, you nerd!" Gary mocked. "We are way better than you in many ways. Our school is a prestigious school while yours is just... " he paused for a while and deliberate on what to say. "Your school is just some homeless school built for a homeless kid like yourself."
Gary was known for trouble and what he had just said was going to result in a huge fit of a fight.
"What did you just say?" Another boy from plan high school questioned.
"Exactly what you've heard," Gary replied and in a blink of an eye, the boy rushed to Gary and landed a first on his face.
This is worst than I thought.
Gary fell to the floor and began to laugh. He pointed to the boy who punched him and laughed.
"You filthy thing dare to punch me, " Gary yelled and stood up to push the boy but he was stopped by Mr. Adams from any further attack.
"That's is enough!" Mr. Adams declared.
Where were the stupid teachers when they began to attack each other?
"It is not enough Mr. Adams until I kick his ass, " Gary refused and moved to attack the boy but he was pulled back by Mr. Adams.
"I said enough!" Mr. Adams shouted and held Gary's hand. Although Mr. Adams was taller than Gary, he was less muscular than Gary who looked athletic. "When I say it's enough then it's enough." Mr. Adams said again.
"You are lucky pretty boy. You ain't going to be lucky next because I'll beat your ass up." Gary threatened and freed his hand from Mr. Adams's. He swore under his breath and took his seat.
"Until this is over, I want to urge you all to please agree with one another. I want you all to be in unity, love, and...."
"Please stop preaching something that's is not going to work." Alexa interrupted Mr. Adams's speech and stood up from her chair.
Right. The bitch has something to say.
"Listen up everyone. My name is Alexa and unlike Mr. Adams, I'm not here to preach unity and love. I'm here to tell you that being together on a bus and going to a useless exploration does not mean Demini and plan high school is the same. We are worlds apart and let that sink into your skulls."
"And you think we care?" A girl from plan high school stood up and faced Alexa.
Wait, is this some gender fight?
"And who the hell are you?" Alexa asked in disgusts.
"Someone who knows how to talk better than you." The girl replied Alexa and everyone on the bus reacted with a laugh including myself.
"I think that's is enough girls. " Mr. Adams said." Enough fight for today please." He begged and the two girls responded by seating back in their seats but I knew Alexa was going to hate the plan high school girl until the trip was over.
I stretched my neck to look at the girl who stood up against Alexa and for the first time in my life, I found myself admiring her. From her dark long braided hair to her round face and plump lips.
"Cut it out Tammy," I thought to myself as I stared at her.
But I didn't cut it out and continued staring at her until her dark brown eyes met with mine. We both gazed at each other for a while before she finally looked away with a shy smile.
.
Damn, she caught me staring.
"Are you done ogling her?" Hillary teased and bought me out of my thoughts.
"Who I'm I ogling?" I tried to deny it but I wasn't good at lying.
"We saw you staring at her and I can tell you've been staring at her for ten minutes now," Tristan added.
"Don't get ahead of yourselves. I wasn't staring at her. And why would I be staring at a girl from plan?" I decided to ask those questions because I thought that someone on my level shouldn't speak with someone at their level. I'm not trying to be proud or anything but it's just the fact.
"What's is wrong with plan girls?" Hillary opened a cookie sheet and threw the first cookie into his mouth.
Food again?
"What Tammy is trying to say is that plan girls isn't someone he can Stare at because of our differences right?" Tristan tries to explain but hearing him say that made me feel guilty.
"That's not what I meant Tristan." I tried to explain but he cut me off and pointed to the teacher speaking.
"We have arrived here in Langose oldest museum." The female teacher from plan high school announced.
"Why don't we keep our conversation until this tour is over?" Hillary suggested and Tristan agreed.
"Are you both trying to gang up against me?"
"Are we?" Tristan questioned back and chuckled. "If you feel you are too shy to admit your feelings to the plan girl. I'll help you as your true friend." Tristan teased.
"What feelings? Are you insane? I have no feeling for anyone." I tried to let them know that I was not the type for feeling but they didn't allow me. They both teased and make a mockery of me until we came out of the bus.
The Orbs museum or better still referred to as the Langose oldest museum was a beautiful sight to behold. It was a three-storey building but it was really old as the walls were made of bricks. After giving us a number tag at the entrance, we all made our way into the beautiful museum.
Maybe this exploration wasn't going to be bad after all.
