Chapter 4 The First Encounter

All of a sudden, he looked at Wilson, whose lips were curled into a smile, and stopped calling him by the name that everyone in the company did-Mr. Xiao. With a faint smirk, he announced, "Wilson, it seems that you genuinely care about this girl! You can even recognize her despite being such a small, blurry figure." Nova took the picture, but he didn't pay much attention to the people in it.

"Go ahead and search for her address! Tell me where she lives!" Wilson demanded. After a quick pause, he continued, "No, actually, tell me everything about her! Tell me about her family. Find out what has she been doing in the last two years."

There was an evident delight in his tone. The man was practically jumping for joy. He wanted to find out everything about her. He wanted to know the kind of life that she had been living all these years.

"Yes, of course." Nova nodded and left with a small smile.

Wilson clutched the photo in his hand once more, tenderly stroking the figure as he leaned against the chair. The woman's innocent and beautiful face occupied his mind once more. Memories of the day they met started to replay in his mind.

"Wilson, what do you think of that girl?" he heard a voice ask.

A black Lamborghini was slowly driving out of the gate of the DQ Institute of Art. Colin Luo, who sat next to Wilson, pointed at the passing college girls outside the car window. Every time they came here, they would always comment on the girls, Colin, especially. He was a crude and straightforward person. His deep black eyes would keep searching their surroundings, constantly on the hunt for a new target.

"Colin, if you like someone here, just take her back with you! With a hundred thousand a night, I'm sure any girl would come chasing after you!" Nova suddenly exclaimed as he drove. A chuckle escaped his lips. Shaking his head, he added, "These college girls are so much better than those actresses that you like so much. At least they haven't slept with too many men yet."

"You don't know that! Despite being just students, a lot of them are actually pretty wild. I don't think all of them are good girls!" Colin sneered and quipped, "In fact, maybe they're even worse than my actresses!"

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!" Mischievous laughter escaped his lips, and Wilson couldn't help but chuckle too.

The black Lamborghini continued to drive forward, speeding up a little as it got out of the campus gates. Suddenly, Colin pointed out of the window and shouted, "Wilson! Check out that girl! She looks like your type!"

No one answered. Silence filled the car.

A thin girl with a pot of white orchid in her hands was sauntering towards their direction. Her school uniform-a combination of white and blue stripes-was a bit big on her, but the slenderness of her body was still evident. Her silky hair was tied into a simple ponytail, giving her a much more fresh and natural look. The white orchid was a perfect accessory for her because it highlighted her innocent beauty. She stood out from the people around her.

The three of them stared at the girl at the same time. Nova, who was in the driver's seat, was so captivated that he forgot to turn and drove straight in the girl's direction.

"Look out!" Wilson yelled out as he came back to his senses. Quickly, he opened the door and rushed out.

The girl froze in terror when she saw the car driving towards her and could only clutch the flower pot tightly in her hands. Just as the vehicle was about to hit her, Wilson sprinted towards her. When he got close enough, he held her in his arms and moved out of the way.

The car finally stopped with a screech.

Wilson lowered his head and looked at the girl in his arms. He could see that her fair skin was soft, delicate, and had a healthy glow at such a close distance. She wasn't wearing any makeup, and he even noticed a little bit of fine facial hair surrounding her face. Her skin was as delicate as the petals of the white orchid in her arms. Under her long and thick eyelashes, a pair of black crystal-like eyes seemed to be shining. Her nose was slightly prominent, and her lips looked rosy and moist as they pouted slightly at him.

It was the first time Wilson had looked at a woman so attentively, almost wanting to memorize every detail of her figure. There was a faint fragrance coming from the woman. He couldn't tell whether it was from the orchid or her body. As he held such a beautiful and innocent girl in his arms, he suddenly had the urge to kiss her.

Out of impulse, he started to lean closer, trying to kiss the woman on her pink lips.
