Chapter 10 Bella, My Daughter

Hailey's POV:

I drink my shot glass directly while I'm looking at the bartender. I gesture him to give me another shot. He followed me and put two-shot glass in front of me. I arch my brows, He leaned on me.

"Seems that you had a bad day, Ms. Hailey" I took a glance at him, he gives me the other shot glass and he holds the other one.

"I'm Vera's brother, remember?" I brow my furrowed while staring at him. I drink the shot glass while glancing at him. I realized that this guy in front of me is handsome and look so hot. I remain looking at him that made him chuckle.

"So?" He's still leaning on me that made me felt" awkward a bit.

Yes, a bit.

"Your Vera's friend, right?" He answered while glancing at me. I let out a heavy sigh when I noticed some things in myself. It feels like something change.

If I'm the Hailey just a month ago, I will seduce him and drag him to the condo right now, He's so hot. I also noticed that he's not wearing a uniform now, he's wearing a tuxedo that made me chuckles, he looks so formal.

"What are you wearing? In the bar, really?" I asked and he just stares at me while I'm chuckling, I fake a cough and avoid his gaze.

"Why is it bad? I'm from a meeting and I was just directly here when I heard that you're here" I grinned while looking in his back, there I saw his sister, Vera. She's looking at me while raising a brow.

"Seriously?" Still smirking, She went near to us but looks like her brother didn't notice her yet.

"I'm Clint, by the way," He uttered which made me glance at him. So, this hottie guy named Clint? He offers his hand to shake hands but I refuse.

"I don't do shake hands" I uttered that made him chuckles, Vera fake cough to get his brother's attention but because of the loud song, it didn't hear.

I keep glancing at his back that's why his brows creased and turned his gazes on the back.

"Vera" I playfully uttered and Vera glance at me seriously. She let out a heavy sigh and have a glance at her brother.

"What are you doing here?" I watched them talking in front of me. I just notice that they have similar features.

Of course, they are siblings!

"What kind of question is that?" Clint answered but question too. He has a single glance at me and he even smiled. I nodded while holding my shot glass.

Vera rolled her eyes and stare at her brother

"Mom was finding you a while ago, In the office" Clint seems can't do anything knowing that his Mom found him. I watched him smiled at me and gestured to me that he needs to go. I nodded and remain looking at him until he is gone into my eyes.

Vera didn't tell me that he has a brother that was so hot.

"You want another shot?" She asked and I glance at her, She's raising a brow on me and I know what she meant by that.

She doesn't want what she's seeing huh.

"Yes, please" She let out a sigh and glance directly at me.

"Please, not my brother" I smirked at her. She knows me well, she knows already have my plan?

She walks away to get my request. And when she goes back, she places our favorite liquor in front of me that made me smirk bigger.

"I know what it's in your mind" She uttered for no reason. What? I grinned and stare at her before I let out a heavy sigh.

"Honestly, I don't understand myself. It feels like I don't have any interest now in..other men" I avoid her gazes, she remains looking at me with wondering eyes then she breathes heavily.

"I also noticed that" She uttered that made me glance at her, She looked in my back seriously

"Cyrus is here" She whispers in my ear that made me stop. She gesture to me that she will just follow his brother in the office and I nodded as an answer.

I felt his breath in my ear that made me holds the glass tightly.

"You look so good tonight " I didn't glance at him because I know one wrong move and Our lips will meet.

"I always look good" I answered not in the mood. He didn't get that and grabbed my waist.

"I'm craving" He whispers and I felt uncomfortable, that's one of the things that I didn't expect I will felt. My happiness is men, love them when they get clingy to me.

But now? Duh.

"For what?" I look away, that's a stupid question. I know what he meant by that. I caught my eyes a man walking near to us and I know it's Clint.

You expected that it's Jace

Duh, of course not. He's in their Province. Why would I?

He chuckles and grabbed my waist more. My brows furrowed and turned my gazes at Clint. His hand is on his pocket and wondering why there's a man beside me

I know he saw my reaction.

"Cyrus, I'm not comfortable" I whisper and his hand got stops adventuring in my waist.

"You what?" He said while chuckling. I know it's new, I never said that but I know what I'm feeling. I'm uncomfortable when someone's holding me.

"Cyrus" I warned when his hand adventures down to my legs, As if he didn't hear me when his hand continue traveling in my body, and it's almost the n private part when I stop him. His brows furrowed.

"What's wrong with you? Last time-

" Bro, go away to her. She already said that she's uncomfortable" Clint uttered in out of nowhere.

Cyrus glance at him and he even pointed his finger while chuckling.

"Don't tell me, you have a boyfriend now?-It's impossible" I glance at him and breathes heavily.

"Cyrus stop it, I think you're drunk-

" No, I'm not"I look at him annoyingly. Did he forget who's he's talking to? tsk.

"I said stop it, Cyrus. You don't want me to be mad" I warned for the second time. He stops and looks at me still can't believe it. He even shook his head and walk away when some of the people were already looking at us.

I let out a sigh and turned my gazes on him. He crossed his arm while looking at me. He looks so amazed while smiling.

"You're still the Hailey Selveria that I know" I arched my brows and glance at him. That he know?

"I mean, I always see you in this bar since then, and I noticed that you really have that kind of attitude and I think, that's cool" I sit on the stool bar and leaned on him. He was stunned while glancing at me.

"What kind of attitude?" I ask almost whisper in his ear. I saw how he swallowed greedily that made me grinned.

Confirm, he's attracted to me.

"Well, you're kinda a girl that you can't mess up with" I nodded slowly processing what did he say.

Jace said that to me also.

I look away when I remember him again. tsk.

I get my purse and stand up

"By the way, I need to go now" I'm about to walk away when he holds my hand. I look at him in surprise and he got surprised also by what he did. I put away my hand on him and raise a brow.

"U-Uh nice to meet you, So happy that finally, you noticed me" He force a smile while gawking at me.

"Nah, maybe I'm just preoccupied that time, your hot so no wonder why I did notice you" His looks so delighted that made me think, Did I said something so good? So he reacted that way, tsk.

I open the room of my condo and look at the clock, Maybe he arrived now in his province. He sends me a letter for 2 days' leave and I agreed since I don't have a lot of schedules this week and I think his daughter needs him.

That's what he said, His daughter is sick.

I took a bath and changed my clothes, I only wear a pair of my nightclothes and wore a foot sack.

I don't know I just used to wear a foot sack when I'm sleeping.

I'm now lying on the bed while eyeing the ceiling, I think fo change my chandeliers, I want the other one, New stock.

I hit my head slightly when his face flashed on my head. Why did it's just suddenly appeared in my he'd. Does he look chandelier? tsk.

I'm in the middle of my thoughts when my phone rings. Who the h*ll is this? No one has a right to call me and worst, in the middle of the night-

My thoughts stop when I read the name of who's calling. And it's not just an audio call, It's a video call!

I got hesitate first but I answered it after a minute. Who knows it's urgent, right.

His face flashes on the screen and I remain serious because I feel sleepy now. Probably, because of the effect of alcohol.

"Apology to call you this late, Ms. Selveria" I stare in his face, Why he's so handsome-

"Hailey, Call me Hailey when we're not at work" He nodded and I can see his eyes through the screen. I let out a heavy sigh.

Stop it, Hailey. He already has a wife and daughter.

I don't want to be a Mistress, duh.

Like heck, I'm not going to be a mistress. That's kinda disgusting

"Why did you call?" I asked when he didn't know what he's going to say. I'm so sleepy now.

"Ms-I mean, H-Hailey. Do you know why Bella is crying? She's not stopping in crying and I'm worried that she's hurt or what" My brows furrowed and I almost chuckle but I try to suppress it. Why would he ask me like that? Is I am the Mom of his child?

"Where's her Mom?" I asked while raising a brow.

He walked and open a room, there I heard a cry of a girl.

"Someone called in her phone a while ago, and she told me that needed to go somewhere"

"In the middle of the night?" Wow, his wife is pretty cool huh? Seriously, she's kinda irresponsible, the n. I mean, is that thing ass much important to her daughter.

I thought, "Your daughter is the most important here"?I sarcastically asked in my mind, of course, I didn't let that be heard by him.

"I don't know, she said it's an emergency-but let's not talk about that. Do you know anything that made her stop" I don't like children that's why I don't know also what to suggest to him, tsk?

"Let me see her" I only answered that he followed me. I was stunned when I saw his daughter. My heart jumps while I was staring at her. She's so cute and her features are familiar.

She's beautiful, indeed.

"Hey, this is Bella, my daughter," He said and Bella looks at me. She stops crying and glance at me for a minute. I felt awkward because her stares are different or I just felt sleepy that's why.

"Hello, Bella" I force myself to smile even I'm not in the mood. She's still a kid.

"You're so beautiful, lady" She amazingly uttered that made me grinned

I know right. tsk.

"Hmm, You're beautiful, Bella" I compliment and I don't know if my tone is good or what. I didn't use to complimenting others. It's just I don't want to make her cry again.

"Thank you, lady. How old are you? Do you have a boyfriend now?" She asked with so many questions. I stop for a minute, don't know that this kid is talkative.

"Bella, that's too much," Her Dad said and Bella just pouts while looking at me.

"I think it's just alright to her. Mom keeps saying that I'm so talkative. Did I'm bad?" Dad shook his head and trust me, I wanted to click now the end call button.

It's kinda boring.

"No, darling. Of course, you're a good daughter" Her Dad said on the other line but Bella is now looking in his back.

"Mom!" She yelled and I was stunned when I heard a familiar voice. I'm about to ask a question when he calls ended the call.
