Chapter 5 Amanda

"The good thing is at least it's not spoil", Lily says as we finish, I don't know how our pancakes come out so flat but at least in not burn.

"I think I may have added a little too much water", Sebastian scratches behind his head.

"You think? You did", Lily states.

"Sorry, not really a good cook."

"It's okay, let's just clean up and head to the cafeteria with our free post breakfast", I clap.

"Yeah because we only got ten minutes and I have US History after", Lily groans.

"I got Literature", Sebastian adds.

"Well I rather that than US History, Brandon told me it's boring."

"I'm sure you'll like it Lily just like normal history last year when we first started here", I remind her.

We clean up our counter and head to the cafeteria with our plate of pancakes.

"Hey Lily pad", Brandon swings his hand over Lily's shoulder as we enter the cafeteria.

"Hey mans", he nods at me and then looks at Sebastian,"and you are?"

"Sebastian, I'm new here", he shakes his hand.

"Oh so you're the new guy the twins were irritable about flirting with mans here", he smirks.

"I wasn't flirting with her", Sebastian frowns.

"Just kidding, no one in their right mind would if they want to see daylight ever again", Brandon says seriously as we all take a seat by the table.

"That bad?"

"You have no idea", I scoff as I share the pancakes between Lily, Sebastian and I.

"None for me?" Brandon pouts.

"I'll share with you brands", Lily offers.

"That's so nice of you, no wonder you are my best friend", he grins and opens his mouth.

She smiles as she feeds him.

"Are you sure they aren't dating?" Sebastian whispers to me.

"I'm sure, because Lily been eyeing Nick since last spring, but too shy to do anything about it since he is a senior like my brothers", I explain.

"And Brandon is a junior?"

"He suppose to be, but in elementary school he purposely failed 2nd grade so he can be in the same class as Lily. I wish I had a best friend like that although his parents weren't happy about it", I chuckle.

"Stop, that's too much syrup brands", Lily laughs as Brandon pours almost all the syrup on her pancakes.

"But you know I love syrup", he pouts.

"Then get your own", she says and pulls away her plate from him.

"Don't be like that lily pad", he pleads as she turns away from him,"I'll buy you ice cream later", he offers.

"Really?"

"Yes, cookies and cream your favorite", he grins.

"I'm not hungry anyway", she gives him her plate and he hugs her.

"Thank you."

Sebastian smiles,"you're right, I wish I had a best friend like that too."

"Hey sis, hey Lily, hey Brandon and hey boy who has a death wish", Nathaniel greets us.

"It's the first day just drop it", I sigh.

"Are you sure he isn't flirting with you?" He glares at a pale Sebastian.

"He isn't, tell him Brandon", I say.

"Don't worry bro, he's cool plus Nick told me he is a boy version of Amanda. Clean record, great grades."

"So my sister has some competition now, about time", Nathaniel chuckles.

"I play football also", Seb adds.

Yes that'll be my new nickname for him.

"Great, I happen to be the captain tryouts are on Friday", he nods,"see you guys later", he leaves.

"Is that the better twin?" Seb whispers.

"Yeah."

"Guess what girls, Nathaniel Jones just ask me out!" A girl shrieks to her friends as I am in the washroom.

"Are you sure it isn't Daniel?" One of her friend ask.

"It's definitely Nathaniel, you're just jealous that he rejected you last year", she snaps, her friend gasps.

"How dare you say such a thing, I have always been supportive of your relationships, so don't you dare say I'm jealous. You can date all the players and get play as always for all I care", I hear the door slam shut.

"Who needs her anyway", she scoffs.

"You're so right Victoria, she was always jealous of you", a girl states.

"Yeah, let's go girls we got lunch then tryouts for those pathetic freshmen who actually think they have what it takes to make my team", Victoria laughs.

Victoria Stone, cheer captain and president of the student body. Although she acts bitchy, she is far from it. How do I know that?

Well in first to third grade she was my friend, I was actually her only friend back then. She transferred to another school before fourth grade and fast forward eight years later, we met in freshmen year and she was a change person.

I still see a glimpse of the little girl I once knew during meetings and party planning meetings. She actually makes a great president and keep up that bitchy side since that's how people judge and see her as.

"Hey, I heard your brother ask miss 'queen bee' out", Lily says as we are by our usual table bear the jocks'.

"She isn't that bad Lily", I say as I unwrap my fork.

"Yes she is, she picked on me the first two months of freshman year", she snaps.

"Then she stopped af-"

"After you told her to, that's because she knows who your brothers are and remember she had a crush on Brandon until he asked her out just to get her off my back", she adds.

"Actually Brandon had a crush on her, but during some party he realize that it was just a small crush so he got over it quickly. They only went on one date", I explain.

"Why didn't he tell me? He told you", she scoffs.

"No he told my brothers and I overheard them, once Victoria found out you were Brandon's best friend she stopped picking on you. I didn't told her to because we weren't even talking to each other", I add.

"Talking about us?" Nick asks as he walks pass our table with Daniel.

"You wish", I snort. Lily remains quiet.

"Hey", Seb says quietly as he approaches the table, everyone watches him with curiosity.

"Hey, have a seat", I smile and most people gasp.

Everyone knows no one in their right mind would dare sit here except Brandon.

Sebastian smiles and take a seat, that's when the cafeteria gets loudly with everyone talking at the same time.

"Why is everyone staring at me?" Seb asks quietly as he opens his soda.

"Because you're the first guy that ever get to sit here much less approach us, Brandon doesn't count", Lily answers.

"Plus my brothers haven't come to drag out off the chair to outside where they would of give you a few bruises and black eye", I add.

"Really?"

"Just ask Junior what happened last fall when he tried to talk to me. Poor guy even afraid to walk where I walk now", I sigh.

"They beat him up?"

"More like scare him to death", Lily retorts.

"Why are they not even glaring at me though?"

"Because Nathaniel spoke to Daniel most likely and Brandon just back him up. You're safe for now", I pat his shoulder but I see Daniel sends a glare his way.

I immediately move my hand.
