"Good, can we get something to eat? I am hungry", Ally whines, she's twelve years old and sort of spoiled, with blonde hair like dad's and silver-gray eyes like mom's. I on the other hand has mom's hair and dad's eyes.
"Sure, come help Jake us with these suitcases", she calls her husband.
Two of their kids are adults and moved out, Kadeem works somewhere in Manhattan dealing with his father's business and has a fiance while Violet took up a job as a make up artist and lives in Los Angles. I met up with her once or twice every year once she is near my area, but she visits her parents often than her brother does.
The youngest one Jenessa, she is a sophomore at Yale University the one her parents attended.
"Uncle Jakey!" Ally shrieks.
Uncle Jake is my mother's older brother, my parents sent me and Ally here so I can finish high school and she can finish middle school although she now started since they are handling a case which keeps them away from home a lot and more in New York. They both are lawyers and sadly only had me right after they graduated law school and got married.
We have two other uncles and two aunts who are twins.

"Nice house, not big like my own back home though", I say.
"Obviously, I don't know why Ashley insisted she wanted a big house in California if she planned on having just two kids and not spend most of her time there", Uncle Jake sighs,"mom kept complaining about her spending ways since high school."
"Just let it go honey, at least Seb here can get it when he gets older and decides to move back to California", aunty Vanessa kisses him and I look away. I used to have a girlfriend back at my old private school, we dated for a year and sadly broke up during spring break because she didn't want to date me going into sophomore year.
"There are five rooms each with their own bathroom, there are two guest rooms since Kadeem moved out", Uncle Jake states,"and your rooms are already set up", he adds.
We rush upstairs to where the guest rooms are, I enter a room which is paint in blue and had purple with girly posters.
"Ally this is your room!" I yell.
"Yes, I got a balcony", she enters pushing me aside.
I enter the next room one door down, it is paint in my two favorite color.
Grey and baby blue.
15 minutes later
"Hope you like it, I hired someone to do the painting", aunty Vanessa says by the door in her scrubs as I am unpacking.
"I love it, you have work this evening?" I ask.
"Yes emergency call, I got to go now. Jake will be with you guys, I already had a late dinner made for you guys just to reheat."
"Thanks aunty", I smile.
I went downstairs after unpacking to see uncle Jake watching a football game on his laptop.
"Are we getting a tour of the area before school next week?" I ask.
"Oh yeah, you and Ally can go now since Vanessa just got an emergency call from the children's hospital", he explains.
"How far is my school from here?"
"A few blocks down, there is also a park not far from here as well", he adds.
I nod and went back upstairs to put on my shoes and call Ally,"hey, I am going to walk around the area, want to come?" I walk into her room. She is on her apple laptop dad brought her for her birthday back in May.
"Sure, bye Jessie", she waves her best friend on the screen and hangs up from Skype.
"How's Jes?" I ask as she puts on her sneakers.
"She misses me, we really were planning on going the same middle school together", she sighs,"I hope we stay best friends because in middle school that's where it can get break apart."
"You guys are very close, nothing will break you and its okay to meet new people and make friends just she will always be the closest one to you no matter how far you are apart", I hug her.
"Thanks crab, let's go."
"Stop calling me that", I groan.
"It's the same name of that crab from little mermaid", she shrugs.
We leave the house and walk down the block, the weather is clear today at least no rain hasn't start falling. Mom told me Seattle always has rain no matter the time of year.
"I will be going to Hamilton International Middle School, aunty Vanessa said it's like twelve minutes drive from your school", Ally states.
"You're excited huh?" I chuckle.
"Of course, I'm starting middle school! No more elementary and untidy places maybe I should try out for the cheer squad if it have any", she grins.
"Mom was a cheerleader in high school and dad was a footballer", I remind her.
"That's why I would be captain by the time I am a sophomore in high school."
"Okay miss over confident."
