"But I already am", he look down at his jeans and green T shirt with converse on his feet.
"Not like that, go put on a dress pants and dress shirt", she orders.
"Why? It's not like we are going to a restaurant to eat or dining with the President", he rolls his eye.
"No, but its someone just as important", she shoos him.
"At least I'm heading back to New York soon, sophomore year here I come", he cheers as he leaves.

"Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Miller", our head maid greets our guest at the door. We are all standing on the staircase waiting their arrival, they all enter.
Mr and Mrs Miller with their two children, Henry Miller and Felicia Miller.
They both got light brown hair but Henry has brown eyes and Felicia has sea green eyes.
"Welcome", dad walks down the stairs and greet them by shaking Mr. Miller's hand and kissing Mrs. Miller's her hand. Mom follows after but hugs Mrs. Miller and Felicia.
"These are all my children, Max, Jason, Kayden, Nathaniel, Daniel and Amanda", dad introduces us.
"Oh only one girl", Mrs. Miller smiles,"such pretty eyes too."
Henry couldn't stop stare at me and Felicia is eyeing Kayden. I see Max and Jason glaring at Henry who looks away when he sees their eyes on him.
"Dinner is ready", our maid announces and we all go to the dining room.
"Such a lovely house and the food smells great", Mrs. Miller compliments mom.
"Yes, our chef has been with us for fifteen years , dad says.
We all sit down around the large dining table, mom and dad sit facing each other follow by Mr. and Mrs. Miller on dad's side then Henry and Felicia.
I sit down between Max and Kayden which happens to be directly opposite Felcia and Henry, just great.
"So Amanda, what school do you attend?" Felicia asks as the salad is being pass around.
"Roosevelt High School", I reply.
"Isn't that a public school?" She makes a weird face expression.
"Yes, I went there and it's a great school", Kayden states and she blushes slightly.
Uh oh.
"Oh, I go to a private school", she says quietly.
"Felicia why don't you tell Amanda what universities you will be applying for next two falls", Mr. Miller adds.
"Well Yale, Harvard, Columbia or Princeton University but my sees are set on Harvard. I want to study business and help in dad's company or take over mom's fashion magazine company", she says.
"What about you Henry? What university you applying for, for next fall?" Dad asks.
"I got a scholarship to Harvard and I'll be doing business management to take over dad's company or build my own", he replies but his eyes are on me. I see Max knuckles are turning pale by the way he is gripping the edge of the table.
"That's nice, Amanda wants to go to Berkeley University", mom informs them.
"Really? What you want to study?" Felicia looks at me.
"Biological and biomedical sciences", I reply proudly.
"That's nice, you are very smart then", Henry smiles.
"Yes", Max glares at him.
"What's your GPA?" Mr. Miller finally talks.
"3.8-4.0, that hasn't drop after elementary school", I answer.
"Impressive", he nods and Felicia watches me with a stern look.
We eat silently for the next twenty minutes with Henry now and again stares.
____
"Thank you for having us Mr. Jones", Henry thanks dad.
"No problem Henry."
"Hope to see you soon Amanda at that charity event coming in October", he turns to me.
I hope not.
"We'll see", I fake smile.
"We can even go shopping with our moms before the event", Felicia adds.
I rather not.
Jason laughs,"she hates shopping and anything to do with it."
"Really? My friends love shopping and we are going to on Monday when I get to campus", she states.
"Let me guess, you are the most popular girl on campus", I retort.
"Duh with well known parents and brother, if you were going my school guys would of been all over you", she winks.
"It's a good thing she isn't going", Jason hisses.
"Let's go, we got a long drive", Mr. Miller says,"see you soon Jones."
"Monday", dad replies.
They all leave and mom turns to us,"thank you darlings for being on your best behavior, especially you Amanda. I hope you and Felicia become friends."
"I rather not, Lily is good enough of a company and Felicia is too fake for my liking", I admit and she gasps.
"Don't say such things, she is a lovely girl."
"Well I don't like her either", Kayden adds,"she kept sending me flirtatious smiles and winks."
"She's just crushing on you", mom coos.
"Enough honey, don't embarrass him anymore. Let's go rest, we had a long day", dad takes her upstairs.
"We are going out, heard there's a party at Brandon's house", Daniel states and Nathaniel nods.
"I'm too old for high school parties, enjoy it why it last", Kayden states and head to the game room with Jason.
"I'll go finish pack since Monday I'll be heading back", Max adds and goes upstairs.
"Want to come the party sis?" Nathaniel asks and I watch him in surprise.
"Are you asking me to go to an actually party with you?"
"You're going to be a sophomore and when we leave for college next year you got to learn how to handle yourself", he smiles.
"Um-"
"Absolutely not, she's only sixteen and there will be lots of drunk guys, I really don't want to fight right before school opens", Daniel cuts me off.
"But she's not getting any younger bro, she needs to learn what she will be expecting out there", he argues.
"The answer is no and Brandon will be there at school to protect her once we are gone, he'll make sure she doesn't attend any parties until she's seventeen."
My mouth falls open,"what?!"
"And I'm dead serious", he says sternly and goes upstairs to get ready.
I scoff.
"Don't worry sis, you will get to attend a party before Halloween", Nathaniel winks. That's why he is my favorite brother, he's not overprotective like the others.
