Chapter 6 Do A Background Check On Her

That morning, inside the Heaven Bar.

The sound of people coming and going woke up Jason, who was asleep in one of the rooms. He opened his eyes and looked around the dark room with a frown.

He had been sleeping heavily and felt particularly tired even after he woke up.

The only thing he remembered was that the previous night had been a very pleasurable one for him.

All of a sudden, Jason remembered Harlow, the woman he slept with, and sat upright.

He was completely naked as he stared at his clothes, which were scattered across the floor. 'She has left without even saying a goodbye, huh?' he thought to himself.

A smile appeared on his lips as he looked at the glass top table.

There was a pair of white panties on the table. Jason lifted it up and looked at the cute Mickey Mouse on it with a smile.

The small handbag next to the table caught his attention. It looked like it was very cheap. Jason unzipped the bag and found a wallet inside with cartoon characters printed all over it. He opened the wallet and found two hundred dollar bills along with an ID card.

"Harlow Leng..."

A gentle smile appeared on his lips as he read her name. She looked very cute in her ID photo with big, doe like eyes and a bright smile that created dimples on her cheeks. All of a sudden he realized that she looked a bit older in person than she did on her ID card photo.

"Why did she have to wear so much make up when she looks more beautiful without it?" he uttered to himself.

After putting the ID card down, Jason went through the bag's contents, only to find a student card. His face froze as he recalled her pleading words from the night before.

"Please, don't do this. Don't... I'm just a student..."

The drunk and miserable expression on Harlow's face as she begged him the previous night kept flashing through his mind. He stared at the ID card for a long time, lost in thought, before he put it down. Jason picked up his clothes from the ground and put them on. He then took out his cellphone and dialed a number.

"Where were you last night, Bro? Did you have fun? Why didn't you come by the office today? You could have at least taken me with you to have fun last night, right?"

As soon as the call was connected, a man grumbled over the call, which made Jason frown. "I was at this bar called "Heaven Bar."

With that, Jason disconnected the call and threw his phone on the table before he slumped onto the couch.

The image of Harlow in tears, pleading him kept flashing through his mind. Annoyed, he lowered his gaze and looked at the white couch.

The couch covers were stained with blood which was still a vibrant shade of scarlet.

He had realized that she was a virgin when he had sex with her. A wave of guilt crashed through his heart as he glanced at the bloody spot on the couch. Jason had dated many women, but he would never do anything to a virgin because he was against that idea.

But now, he had slept with a virgin, who was also apparently a very young college student.

Moreover, he had forced himself on her, which only made things worse.

He never had to force himself onto a woman before, because he had many women, who were waiting to date him. However, he had been high on drugs the night before, which had made him rape a young college student!

Unlike the other women he had slept with before, Harlow was not a hooker who demanded money from him after sleeping with him, which only added to his frustration.

Just as Jason was thinking about it, a good-looking young man walked into the room. He was well-dressed, had golden hair, and was smoking a cigarette. He seemed like a spoiled man from a wealthy family. His name was Rory Cheng and he was the second son of the man who owned the Cheng Group in A City. He was also one of Jason's subordinates.

"Looks like you had a great night, Bro!" Rory said. He glanced through the room and sat next to Jason, sneering. He then put his hand on Jason's back and patted him.

"Buy all the companies under the Bai Group in A City. I don't want to see Anne Bai or her name in A City anymore," Jason said.

He ignored Rory's frivolous joke and got straight to the point. The wine he had last night was prepared by Anne. How dare she drug him!

Upon noticing Jason's sullen expression, Rory nodded and did not ask more. 'Anne must have done something to anger him. Although he has been with many women before, he never loved anyone truly. I think Anne has got herself into a big trouble this time,' Rory thought to himself.

Jason looked at Rory's hand on his shoulder and glared at him. Rory awkwardly withdrew his hand immediately.

"Do a background check on this woman. I need her details by the end of the day," Jason said as he threw the student card at Rory.

Rory picked up the card and glanced at it. "Harlow Leng, a student at the finance department of Neo Business School... You slept with a virgin last night, Bro! She looks absolutely stunning! How was it? Was the sex good?" Rory asked in excitement.

"If you say another word about it, I'll help you shut your mouth, Rory!" Jason muttered.

Looking at Jason's murderous gaze, Rory understood that he was angry, so he stopped talking about it.

All of a sudden, Rory noticed the wound on Jason's neck and exclaimed, "Bro, you have a nasty wound on your neck. I guess you were a little too rough, weren't you?"

Jason lifted his head with a furious expression and said,

"Get me her details, and get out of here, now!"
