Chapter 10 I Have Loved You For Six Years (Part Two)

As time passed, everything went smoothly between Caspar and Leona and the future seemed promising.

Everything was moving steadily in the direction that Caspar had expected.

At that time, Caspar even felt like the luckiest and happiest man in the world.

But his beautiful dream shattered that day.

Caspar was in the JY Hotel for a meeting with his partner about a very important project. This project was a huge deal as it could make or break the company. Thus, he and his team worked very hard for this project for months on end.

The door to their private room was only partly closed so they could hear some of the noise going on outside. When a familiar voice came, Caspar instinctively ran out only to find an extremely drunk Leona.

"Leona..." 'I can't believe this. I don't know what to say.'

Caspar admitted that he was a little angry at that moment. 'How could a girl drink like this outside? What if something happened?'

Suppressing his anger, Caspar muttered her name as he gritted his teeth.

He thought that Leona wouldn't even notice.

"Caspar..." Tears immediately welled up in Leona's eyes. "Why are you yelling at me?"

Caspar held the trembling Leona in his arms as he suddenly froze. 'Leona, why do you act like a spoiled child when you're drunk?

I've never seen you behave like this in front of me before. What are you doing?'

"Leona, what are you doing?"

Caspar asked, grinding his teeth in annoyance. 'Do you know how risky it is to behave like this in front of the man who loves you?' Helplessness and affection could be detected in Caspar's tone.

He shook his head and sighed slightly.

Then he smiled and held Leona in his arms as she looped her arms around his neck.

This intimate gesture made Caspar, who was walking towards his room, suddenly stop.

Caspar had loved her for years, and they had gotten along pretty well with the time they had spent together, yet he admitted that this was probably the most intimate they had been.

He felt as if his heart did a summersault when Leona did this casual yet intimate gesture.

"What did I do to you?"

Leona's drunken voice was soft and sweet that made him feel as if his heart was going to jump out of his chest.

Her breath reeked of alcohol and he felt its warmth in his ears, sending a shiver down his spine.

Her weak, bony hands flailed about midair. Finally, she caught a hold of Caspar's mouth.

"Don't say that. I'll bite you!"

She then raised her head and lightly bit his ear to prove her point.

Caspar stopped in his tracks, suddenly feeling aroused.

"Mmm, so sweet..." Leona murmured, her blurred vision instantly lighting up.

"Honey!"

Leona cried out in surprise, then greedily began licking Caspar's neck.

Caspar felt as if he was going crazy. He just wanted to take Leona back to his room so he could sleep with her. Feeling the lower part of his body awaken, he said in a hoarse voice, "Leona, you're seducing me. You're practically playing with fire. Do you know what you're getting yourself into?"

"You're a bad guy..." Leona finally stopped licking him. With her eyes gleaming, she gazed at Caspar as she whined, "I'm not playing with fire! I didn't play with fire when I was a child! I just ate a little honey but you're the one who's bringing up all this! Grandpa told me that I shouldn't play with fire because it might cause an accident and firefighters would end up at our house!"

"Damn it!"

Caspar figured it probably wasn't a good idea to reason with a drunk Leona. He cursed under his breath as he quickened his pace. He had to do something about this awakened manhood. 'I need to do something about this,'

he thought to himself.

'Leona threw herself at me but I couldn't even do anything. That took a tremendous amount of self-control. This is just torture.'

"Just stay here..." He carefully placed Leona on the big bed while sighing in relief. He looked towards the direction of the bathroom and said, "Let me get a towel so I can freshen you up a bit." Caspar also needed some space to calm himself down. He didn't even want to think about what could happen if he wasn't able to calm himself down.

"No."

Leona refused as she grabbed onto his tie and pulled him down towards her.

Caspar found it difficult to breathe.

'You're a bad girl! Why are you pulling my tie?'

"Leona..." Caspar choked out, his voice raspy. "You'd better let go of me or I'll teach you a lesson!" Caspar threatened. He truly felt uncomfortable. He couldn't believe what he had to put up with. Leona really was different when drunk.

"Humph!" Leona meet his gaze and said, "I said I would bite you!" 'This man is threatening me! I can't let him go! Or else I'm going to be humiliated!'

With that, Leona wrapped her arms around Caspar's neck and stared into his eyes and then his lips before proceeding to bite him.

"Mhm, so sweet..."

Leona said with satisfaction as she licked her lips.

This was the last straw. Caspar could no longer restrain himself.

They spent the night making love with each other much to Caspar's delight.

'My beloved, little girl has finally become a woman.

I'm going to marry her and we're going to have lots of kids that's going to take after their beautiful mother. I'll take her to the most beautiful places in the world and love her with all my heart.'

Caspar then reached out to the other side of the bed. Much to his surprise, it was cold and empty.

Caspar frowned slightly as he instantly sat up.

"Leona..."

Caspar called.

His heart began beating rapidly.

He searched the entire suite.

The longer he couldn't find her, his heart sunk as his steps became heavier. When he returned to the room where he and Leona slept, he found that the butterfly necklace he had given her was lying on the bedside table. 'Looks like she hasn't found her name engraved on it yet.'

Caspar looked at the blood-stained bed sheet with a self-mocking smile.

Later on, he discovered that the project bid documents he had placed in the drawer had gone missing.

They lost the bidding and the stock of QT International Group plummeted, causing them to fall into a crisis.

"Leona," Caspar muttered. "What kind of woman are you?"

He came back to his senses and was carefully watching Leona on the monitor. She had just woken up.

Leona looked around, briefly in a daze before gathering herself and coming back to her senses.

She stood up and gently smoothed over her wrinkled clothes. Then she walked towards the door and left.

"Johan..." Looking at the empty sofa that Leona had just slept on in the monitor, Caspar ordered, his tone laced with disgust, "Throw away the sofa she slept on."

At the entrance of QT International Group building, Leona cried hysterically to Kaley over the phone.

"You deserve it," Kaley said.

Leona couldn't cry anymore. "Are you on my side? Or are you on his?"

"Of course, I'm on your side!"

Leona had more to say to Kaley, but when she saw that the Dreamy Ballet Crew was calling her, she had to hang up. When she answered their call, the team head's familiar voice came. "Leona, we're about to begin touring. Role A needs competition so we were wondering if you could make it to the performance tomorrow morning. Are you free?"

"All right,"

Leona agreed decisively. 'The Dreamy Ballet Crew is renowned worldwide. If I can tour with them, it'll be such a great opportunity. I've been fighting for this for so long. I won't just let this slip by. What's important is that Role A is always highly paid.

That's what important to me right now—money.'

"Don't be late or your position will be forfeited."
