Chapter 5 A Woman

After handing over the money to her mother and giving her some instructions, Amanda went back to the company to pack up. Then she went back home and packed her own clothes!

From tomorrow on, she was about to leave the city where she grew up and go to work in another big city. Going to the headquarters was her goal and wish, because it indicated the promotion of salary and position. But her heart trembled at the thought of another purpose of going to the headquarters. The man who she wanted to escape from finally had to be tied to her.

It was already seven o'clock in the evening when she packed up all the things. She immediately made some soup and sent it to the hospital!

She wanted to show filial piety to parents before leaving. After all, it was not convenient for her to go back and forth in the future. At that time, she would be unable to make soup anymore.

Fortunately, the doctor told her that as long as she had money to pay for the surgery performed on his father, it's promising for him to recover.

Amanda spent the night staying with her parents in the hospital!

For the first time these days, she had a sound sleep

The second day, she took a flight at nine o'clock in the morning. At twelve o'clock in the noon, she arrived at J City where the Ye Group's headquarters was located in. It was a world famous commercial city!

It was a place full of commercial and high-level circles. After getting off the plane, Amanda directly arrived at the 70-floor building. The shining signboard of Ye Group made her dizzy. She would struggle here in the future.

With the suitcase in her hand and a leather bag on her right shoulder, Amanda bit her lower lip and walked directly to the high-end front desk of Ye Group's hall.

"Miss, what can I do for you?" The sweet looking switchboard in front of the counter said to Amanda with a smile.

"I'm looking for Mr. Danny." Amanda smiled.

"Did you make an appointment?" The receptionist said as she looked at Amanda with slight surprise.

"No, my name is Amanda. Can you help me contact Mr. Danny?" Amanda shook her head. She was a little unhappy, and in fact, it was not her fault!

Yesterday, Danny didn't tell her the specific position, so she had to ask him first.

The receptionist was even more confused, but she still enthusiastically dialed the number of president's secretary office for Amanda. The one who answered the phone was Jake, the assistant to Danny!

When the phone ended, Jake asked Amanda to go up to the twenty-fourth floor. Amanda smile to the receptionist to show her gratitude and entered the elevator carrying her suitcase!

Behind her were four sweet receptionists with perplexed look on their faces.

When she arrived at the twenty-fourth floor, Jake personally stood at the door of the elevator to receive Amanda and help her carry her suitcase into her office!

Then he began to explain the work for Amanda, because Amanda majored in marketing management!

This time, her position was an assistant to the sales headquarters of Ye Group. When Amanda heard the news of the sales department, she couldn't help shivering!

In the end, after posting further explanations in detail, Jake asked about Amanda's residence.

Amanda didn't know anything about this city and she was completely unfamiliar with it. Fortunately, Jake was so enthusiastic that he immediately took Amanda out of the company to find a place to live in.

The rent of the houses around the company almost made Amanda speechless. Moreover, thinking of her father's illness, Amanda was more frugal. Finally, after wandering around for a while, Amanda finally found a place to live in which was relatively far away from the city center. The rent was reasonable and the route was also good, but it was a little far from the company. It would take at least twenty minutes to take a bus!

However, it was the best for Amanda.

After telling Amanda to go to work tomorrow, Jake left. Amanda rented a small apartment with two bedrooms, one living room and a kitchen. It was a new apartment with a good environment and was very quiet. It was the ideal residence for her!

After signing the contract with the landlord, she immediately began to pack up and went to the supermarket to buy all the things she needed. She had been busy until night, so she cooked some noodles for her dinner.

The coming night made her nervous. She kept an eye on the phone, fearing that Danny would call her!

As for the so-called mistress, she didn't understand the rules at all, but she knew that Danny might want her at any time!

She felt extremely disgusted and aggrieved at the thought of sleeping with him!

However, everyone has to be humble when they're trapped in an inferior situation. Even if he disgusted her too much, she had no room for shrinking back.

Amanda had been worried all night until eleven o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, she didn't receive the call from Danny!

It seemed that she could have a good sleep tonight.! ! !

On the fifty-third floor of the building of Ye Group, the only room belonged to Danny!

In the spacious hall, the elegant figure of Danny was leaning lazily. His white shirt was not taken off, and his tie was casually thrown on the sofa aside. His black hair was a little messy, and his handsome features were covered in the dim light. His deep and charming eyes under his curly and long eyelashes were emitting a frightening cold light. His slender fingers were holding a crystal cup. The mellow and thick red wine gave off a strong fragrance!

He liked to be quiet. After a busy time, he was used to staying somewhere quietly.

Why didn't he call Amanda tonight? To be honest, he had forgotten the existence of such a woman!

He even treated the deal he made in the branch company yesterday as giving charity!

The so-called lover was just an excuse for him to help her. His physiological needs had always been anticipated by specially-assigned women. Did he still need her to serve him?
