Chapter 5 5

We headed towards the bed chambers when alpha Aaron approached us. "May I talk to you, Miss Valeria?" I knew he was boldly conspiring something against me. Else why would he risk talking to me knowing that now I was alpha Calhaun's bride. Ogling him from head to toe, Aaron was clad in a nightgown. Audacious. "In private." The alpha stressed.

I gestured to the maids with my hand and they bowed, taking their leave. Alpha Aaron smiled at me while licking his lower lip as he ogled at my silhouette. Looking down at him I could see him getting a boner in that loosely tied nightgown. Aaron leaned in towards my face when I subconsciously stepped back. The immediate action made me tuck to the wall.

"Oh come on, Valeria!" Alpha Aaron spoke in a mild complaining and seductive tone. No wonder, his affair with the former body owner Valeria was not a rumour. However, I felt repulsed by him knowing that he was once my fated mate before killing me. "There is no need to show me an attitude. There are only two of us here." Aaron put his one hand over the wall while staring.

Even though the previous body owner might have loved alpha Aaron I didn't. Not anymore after he tried to kill me for my step-sister. "I love how cunning you are, baby. Just a bit more and we will succeed." Alpha Aaron reached for my cheek and traced his thumb while approaching my lips. That was it! Placing my hand over his chest I pushed him back using all my might.

"Enough, alpha Aaron." Raising my voice at him I could see the alpha's expressions changing. Maintaining my composure while interlacing my hands and glaring at alpha Aaron. "I assume you are forgetting where you are standing. This is the North pack and you're a guest here." He seemed surprised to see me reacting unusually. "Certainly, you would not want to go back on four shoulders."

Alpha Aaron was shocked that I could rebel and refuse to converse with him. "You!" He leaped towards me when I raised my hand to stop that monster. "Behave yourself, alpha Aaron. You are mistaking me for some whore entertainment of yours." That was the perfect moment as Aaron halted right away. "Your mistress, Miss Alice, might be waiting for you."

I chose those words intentionally as Aaron hadn't married Alice yet. They both had been living together for over a year until after my death. Which made me wonder as to why he didn't when Aaron and Alice had such a passionate affair. Nonetheless, my words made him angry which caused Alpha Aaron to react impulsively. "You bitch!" He reached for my throat and grabbed it.

While trying to push him away my hand touched Aaron's robe. He was not budging when I had to kick him in the nuts. "Argh!" Alpha Aaron yelled while holding his crotch, the whole process made his robe fall off from the shoulders. Seeing him whining a bit away from me I ran towards my room. With my thumping heart and staggering footsteps I was still midway when a voice occurred.

My footsteps immediately halted upon seeing alpha Calhaun. His golden glowing eyes glared at me from head to toe. "Alpha Aaron!" Every single pore on my body felt the raging voice of the alpha which resonated in that arcade. "This time it is your weiner, next time it could be your neck." Calhaun threatened him with a snarl, he glanced at my torn neckline with his glowing orbs.

Alpha Aaron spoke nothing and headed back to his room. When he disappeared from our sight, alpha Calhaun wrapped his hand around my waist. Before I could comprehend what was even happening, he pushed me to the wall while grabbing my chin. "Taking advantage of your pretty face that soon?" Alpha Calhaun was angry at our little encounter which made the situation worse.

"No, I wasn't." Denying his allegation while hissing, I tried to assure him whatever he was thinking was just an assumption. "He

came here to harass me." Alpha's grip over my chin tightened as he pushed his own body over mine. It made me let out a gasp with the weight he was imposing on me. "Didn't you see him whining while

holding his thing?" My justification was valid though he didn't want to hear it.

"Oh really? What about your torn dress?" Alpha Calhaun leaned in towards my face, I could feel his breathing over my lips. "Did you perhaps seduce him when he refused, you kicked his nuts?" His gaze travelled from my eyes towards my lips. Was he seeing my true face in my eyes? "That explains why you didn't shout for help if you were being harassed." He tried to reason out with me.

After thinking quickly I took my tongue out and licked his finger which was over my chin. Placing my arms over his shoulders, alpha Calhaun got stunned for a moment. "Don't you think if I wanted to seduce anyone, I would pick the most powerful in the chain?" A smirk appeared over his lips, he seemed satisfied with my witty response. Lifting his hand, Alpha Calhaun grazed his thumb over my lips.

Smiling softly I moved forward towards him, lifting my silhouette over my toes. Reaching his face while my hands over his shoulders supported. "I didn't shout, alpha Calhaun. Doubt that you want your newly wed to be seen in such a questionable state by others." My whispering made him aroused, as I could feel his body heating up. "Rumours spread faster." My lips barely touched his lips.

Alpha Calhaun pulled me closer with a soft chuckle. "Fascinating!" Holding my chin once again he pulled my face in a kiss. It was something unexpected for me, but I could feel his antics being gentle this time. "Wait for me tonight!" He spoke to me while licking his lips and stepping back. Smiling at him I headed to my room in anticipation. Only if I had known that Anna witnessed everything from the corner.
