Chapter 7 Mine

F**k" Caroline hissed out in pain as blood find their way out of her lips, feeling his hand holding her heart.

"Yes Regent" Edwin said looking at Caroline pale face and he sigh.

Immediately Rylan removed her heart out of her body and they watched as her body went numb going down.

They all froze.

Rylan snapped and her body burnt to ashes, the team felt their blood stopped moving.

"I hope our apologies is accepted Supreme Lord" Edwin bow.

"Introduce yourself" Rylan stated and they started the instruction.

"Nick by name Supreme Lord".

"Blessing"

"I'm Bianca supreme lord"

"Supreme Lord I'm Calantha"

"None of you should trespass or I will find fun snapping your soul out of your body" Kaal remarked and they all gulp their saliva down still facing the floor.

"Leave" Kaal ordered and they find their way.

"Wait" they heard his voice and they all halted.

They felt a wind pass them and they hold their breath.

"You..." Kaal stand before Calantha and she felt her knees failing her due to fear.

"Supreme Lord" she said not looking at his face.

"Look up" he ordered irritated with her looking down.

Fear gripped her as she felt heat radiating from his body.

'Obey him'

The voice whispered to her.

"I'm sorry Supreme Lord I...." Her words were cut short when she looked up.

A demigod was standing before her, how can someone be so hot, handsome at the same time.

She stared at his sharp jawline, his skin free from pigmentation, his deep brown eyes, she was getting drowned in the depths of his eye.

Controlling herself, her eyes went to his lips which looked kissable, a little plumpy down then thin up and....

She saw a smirk dangling on the lips and immediately her consciousness wash over her and she bow her head in embarrassment.

"Like what you see huh" Kaal smirked.

"I'm sorry for lacking manners supreme lord" she said still looking down.

"Look at me" he said anger lacing in his voice and she looked at him biting her bottom lip.

She was feeling scared if she did anything again cause he was just looking at her.

"Leave" Kaal suddenly said and she raised her eyebrow.

"Let's go girls" Edwin said and they all left.

"Supreme Lord, declare the punishment for her" Rylan said.

"For who?" He disappeared to his throne sitting majestically.

"The researcher who was staring at you" Rylan asked.

"Ooh, I will do her the favour of punishing her myself" Kaal said, a devilish smile on his face.

"Huh" Rylan remarked unknowingly, he was shocked, like I mean beyond shocked.

In a normal day, anyone who dared to look at Kaal in the face gets killed in the cruelest way immediately but now a researcher stared at him for more than a minute and he is doing nothing.

It's beyond imagination to him.

"Do you have a death wish" Kaal growled, heat radiating from him already.

"I'm sorry Supreme Lord" Rylan said.

"You better be, am I done here?"

"Supreme lord there is a case of two woman and a man, they will come and explain it themselves" Rylan replied and he nodded.

"Send them in" he announced and three people were pushed in wearing tattered cloth their body full of bruised.

"Supreme Lord" they all bow.

"On your knees and speak" Rylan said.

"Yes Regent" they replied and did as instructed.

"Supreme Lord I'm Nadia I live in Dominica Kingdom, I have the power to control the wind, I used to live a happy life till I met this two...." She passed a hateful glance at the two people beside her.

"They told me to come here and display my magic before the people here in Suprema, I was scared and I told them I can't do it because of how much of a risk it will be to the people here, they disagreed they told me that nothing will happen as everybody here possess power, stupid me believed them and came here...... they helped me with gathering the people so I displayed my magic before them then suddenly I felt my power gone while performing my magic before the people and if I don't stop it will kill the people but I can't even feel the magic so there's no way I will be able to stop the wind" she sigh sadly and continued.

"So not able to stopped the wind, it started killing people because of how powerful it had become and suddenly it stopped then I got chained to a dark room and was released today to explain what happened".

Kaal furrow his eyebrow as his expression darken staring at the remaining two.

"You can kill us for all we care but you can't stop the war Kaal Harrison, it's coming" the man said laughing out.

"I even heard he needs his unkmown queen to help him with the war, hahaha even if she does come do you think she will be able to help you, a worthless being who holds no significance" the lady smirked.

"You are both motherf**kers, you used me" the first girl yelled.

"YOU DON'T F**KING YELL IN MY COURT" Kaal remarked his voice holding a lot of dominance and thickness and the court room shaked, a small part collapsing.

"Seems we angered their supreme lord" the guy burst out laughing and the second girl joined him as well.

"You won't leave in peace trust me" Rylan said his voice boiling with anger.

"I love people who challenge me to my face little fellas" Kaal smirked.

The guy and the girl face dropped, they thought their words affected him but he is even confident.

"What, cat got your tongue now" Kaal said.

" You know what I will crunch your body and keep your soul so you will see how I win the damn war" Kaal said.

"What are you talking about" the girl asked fear gripping her.

"Saving you from perishing but I won't be able to save you from death" he smirked leaving them totally confused.

Is it even possible to die and be alive at the same time.

"Time to work, how about only your heads remain alive, nah that's too little or maybe I fill your whole body with pain till the war or I make your body a living fire, it will burn till the war comes" Kaal said and everybody gulp down in fear.

"Just kill us f**king bastard!!!!!" The second girl yelled.

"The last option seems cool" Kaal snapped his fingers and the girl felt her body heating up.

Staring at her body which was red already, as if fire was burning in her.

Flames began coming out of her ear, nose and mouth as of been roasted.

"Aghhhh!!!!!!" She screamed out in terror as the flames worsened.

"Like what you see" Kaal said to the guy and he swallowed.

"Just kill us bastard" the guy said his voice low.

"I don't kill my enemies that easy" he said and disappeared.

The same thing that happened with the girl happened to the boy as well.

Their screams filled the room.

Kaal appear again and said "Drop them in the fire tube" he brought out something and cast something on it.

"Seems you guys were meant to live a long life, anyway keep it in the jail of life" he said passing a bottle to Rylan.

"Yes supreme lord, what should we do with the other girl" Rylan asked.

"Take her to the guards maid, she will satisfy their sensual need for a month then release her" Kaal said and left.

Calantha was back in her room, in the restroom actually, the scene back at the Suprema court room still playing in her head.

This is her second time of watching someone killed in her front mercilessly.

"She apologized what was the use killing her just like that" she sigh still thinking of how Caroline heart stopped beating on the Regent hand.

I wonder if this is how punishment is given over here, then her mind went to how she stared at him.

She could still foreplay everything because he was damn handsome, everything about him screamed dominance, he looked like a heartless demigod who caught her attention and stole her heart.

"Wait a minute what's with the stolen heart" she mumbled at her thought.

"Calantha be quick I wanna take a shower" she heard Bianca voice.

"Hm, some minutes" she did her job and find her way outside.

"Look at the first one to look at supreme lord in the eye and wasn't punished" Bianca winked before entering the restroom living Calantha with a flushed face.

Bianca has been whining her ever since they got back and she covered her face in shyness.

"Stop it now Cally he is cruel and heartless you can't like him" she muttered.

'How is that even possible with that handsome face of his'.

"Cally behave yourself" she mumbled groaning at her thought.

Lying on the bed, Lily call came in and she picked.

"Damn" Maude mumbled tiredly.

"My lady is there a problem" Mabel asked worriedly.

"Why bother asking if you won't be of help" Maude rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry my la....."

"It's my queen" Maude cut her off.

"Yes my queen" Mabel bow.

"Whatever" Maude said and she went out of her chamber.

'He hasn't even looked at me once ever since I came here' she groaned inwardly as she matched to his chamber.

"Announce my arrival to Supreme lord" she said to the herald.

"I'm sorry princess but Supreme lord said no one should disturb him" the Herald replied.

"Excuse me, how dare you talk back at me I f**king gave a simple instruction and that is to announce my arrival so why aren't you doing it, supreme lord should decide whether he wants to meet me or not" she snapped.

"Supreme lord said no disturbance my lady and if you don't leave I will have no choice but to call the Regent" the Herald said bowing his head.

"How dare you!!!!!" Maude yelled getting frustrated already.

"I'm sorry my lady it's a simple order given by supreme lord which I have to follow" the herald replied and Maude grits her teeth.

"Maude do you have a death wish!! Which i hope you do" she heard his voice from his chamber and she bow her head in shame of him talking to her this way in front of a mere herald.

"You can leave now my lady" the herald said and she looked at him with scorn.

"You will regret this trust me" she stomped her feet walking away.

"Like I care" the herald rolled his eyes.

'Kaal do you think she's the one' Something whisper to Kaal and his eye darkened.

"She seems innocent will such innocence help me fight a war"

'You never know, moon goddess does the unthinkable things' the voice whispered back.

"I don't care, all I know is this chosen queen of mine will be doomed once I recognize her" he smirks getting angry already just at the thought of depending on a girl.

'Really, are you liking the researcher already' the voice mocked.

"What resercher" he rolled his eye.

'I'm living inside you Kaal I feel what you feel' the voice said.

"Suit yourself"

'You like her just accept it cause your breath was fluctuating immediately your eyes fell on her'

"You are really one asshole"

'You think, then why did you suddenly stopped breathing when she bit her lower lips'

"Shut....."

"How dare you!!!!!" He heard Maude yelled before he could replied.

She really have to be senseless, a real fool.

"Do you have a death wish!! Which I hope you do" he said and he heard the voice low then a feet stomping away.

'I don't like her a bit' the voice whispered.

'Harry don't you think you are disturbing me now' Kaal sigh frustratingly.

'You sounded like a wolf minutes again, man I'm your other half' the voice sounded and the room heated up.

"A wolf won't be as troublesome as you" Kaal replied.

'Whatever, why do I feel like your queen is in this kingdom' the voice sounded and Kaal sigh.

"I feel that too, perhaps destiny or whatever brought her here so I won't bother searching for her till she come to the palace herself" he replied.

ONE WEEK LATER***

The team gathered around a table discussing where to investigate next.

"What's with the foul smell" Blessing mumbled.

"Like a rotten fish or what" Nick coughed out.

They all pause what they were doing when they heard the creaking of the door knob.

"Hold your breath guys and the chants" Edwin said bringing out something from his pants pocket.

"Hmm" they nodded holding their breath and chanting the word.

The door opened fully and something entered.

The team eyes widened staring at what was before them tho excluding Bianca.

Before them was a being with tattered cloth, dark shadow flowing around them, bloody and disfigured face which doesn't have an eye exuding an air of stealth.

Staring at what was before them they shaked in terror as tears fall from their eyes.

As one entered, another entered then more began entering the apartment.

"I can't do this anymore" Blessing mumbled almost dying due to lack of breath alarming the rogues before them.

The rogues growled as they hear heavy breathing, trying to locate where it was coming from through their sense and ear.

"Run!!!!!!!!!!" Edwin screamed as he brought out a glass pouring the content of the glass in the rogues body.

The team rushed upstairs all staying in a basement closing the door.

"It will only keep them down for a few minutes till then I hope the army of suprema will be able to smell rogues" Edwin mumbled dragging everything his eyes was able to locate to the door.

"So we are just gonna stay here till help come and if it doesn't come then we will die?" Blessing said panicking.

"Let's just be positive" Edwin muttered.

"Hold your breath they are outside" Calantha said and they heard the rogues growling.

A rogue tried opening the door to the basement and it was locked, he angrily growl out and the others came to the basement door.

"Holy mother of Christ, holy mother of Christ, holy mother of Christ, holy mother of Christ" Nick repeated not able to hold his breath again.

And the door was pushed open by the rogues and they all gulped down.

The rogues growled seeing them and they rushed to where they are.

Edwin brought out a barrior and creates a barrier between them.

"This should help for some time depending on the power they possess" Edwin said and they all sigh.

The barrier was getting weaker as the minutes was passing and their fear was getting high more and more.

"What do we do now" Calantha said frustrated.

"How about I pour some portion on their body to slow them down then we run out till we reach the market or a crowded place" Bianca said.

"You have a slowing portion" Edwin asked.

"Yeah it's with me now" Bianca said and the team eye focus on her.

"What, I took it for security purpose" she shrugged

"Fine then let's go with your plan" Edwin said and Bianca handed the portion to him but Nick dragged it.

"I will do it" he said.

"Don't get us killed mister" Blessing said.

"Just let him do it if he wants to" Calantha stated.

Nick stared at the growling rogues who were almost breaking the barrier and he looked at his team mates face.

"I got this" he said and they all nodded.

"So at the count of three, one two three" Edwin screamed and Nick splashed the portion on them.

"Run!!!!!" They ran outside, entering the car and zooming off.

"Drive faster please". Blessing cry out.

"Nick are you sure the portion touched them" Bianca muttered staring at their back, a thousand rogues running after them.

"You will get us killed for your clumsiness" Blessing snapped and he shrugged.

"It wasn't knowingly"

Their bad luck was that they stayed at the outskirts of the town so it will take a long time before reaching the market.

"F**k drive faster Edwin" Calantha yelled.

"Why are they running that fast" Blessing rub her temples.

"Supreme Lord the researchers were attacked by rogue" Kaal Regent announced.

"Hmm, they should deal with it their self, you can leave" Kaal replied and Rylan left.

'Kaal our queen is there!!' Harry screamed.

"What queen are you talking about now" Kaal scoffed.

'The researcher is our queen, go and save her to confirm it'.

He suddenly started sweating, his legs aching him.

Feeling the odd feeling his pupil dilate.

"Is she really the one" his eyes darkened.

The market people scoffed seeing the researchers truck driving towards the market remembering what Caroline did the other day.

"There are thousand of rogue behind them!!!!!!" Someone suddenly shouted.

The market people scrambled away hiding, waiting for the army in the kingdom.

"They ran away, what do we do now" Blessing said scratching her head like a mad woman.

"Bless relax, Edwin we are putting the market people life at risk if we drive there cause the rogues are still chasing after us" Calantha said.

"Yeah what do we do now?" Nick said.

"Someone should distract them till the army of the kingdom is here then" Bianca suddenly said and they all looked at her.

Bang!!!!!!!!, the rogues used their powers to push the car making the car roll in the air twice till it landed in the floor.

The team couldn't hear a thing because their senses was gone, they stay in the car for more than two minutes.

'Calantha wake up' she heard inside her opening her eyes only to see the rogues near.

"Guys they are here!!!!!!" she screamed out and the others jolted awake blood dripping from their body.

"I'm stuck" Blessing said after they all went out of the car.

Calantha looked at the rogues almost near them and she decided to try her luck, rushing where Blessing is she uses a scissors to tear the seatbelt then dragged her out.

Seeing the rogue in front of them, she and the others swallowed.

'I'm sorry Lily, Evelyn, I will be breaking the promise to live' she mumbled going towards the rogue.

"Hey stop her!!!!" The marketers scremed out

"What are you doing Cal!!!!" Bianca yelled.

"Just go" she gave them a look and the rogues attacked her ready to tear her apart.

"Cal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bianca yelled as the rogues covered her.

"THE AUDACITY TO TOUCH WHAT'S MINE" a voice barked
