Chapter 4 Suprema

"My lady the king request for you" Princess Maude personal maid announced as she dress her.

"Hmm, any news?" Maude asked.

"Well...."

"Talk or I make you talk" Maude snapped and her maid sigh.

"There was a prophecy, there will be a great War and The supreme Lord needs a lady who will be by his side and the lady is still unknown till now" the maid replied.

"Tsssk, who gave the prophecy...Ora?" Maude asked with a smirk

"Yes my princess"

"You can leave" she said a smile dancing on her lips and her maid turned to leave.

"Wait a minute Mabel... go to the seer and request for him to see me" she said.

"Yes my princess" Mabel replied and left.

"I won't sit back a fool who come and take my place...never, I deserve to be the Supreme Lord queen and no one else" Maude said with a lot of determination on her face.

Remembering her Dad sent for her, she walked out to his chamber.

After announcing to the king she was led in.

"My king you sent for me" she bowed with a smile on her face.

"Are you relenting now, I told you to get close to the Supreme Lord buh I guess you were busy with something else" the king yelled.

The news of the Supreme Lord destined queen had spread and was all over the kingdoms near and afar.

"Dad I'm trying maybe I haven't put in my best but I promise I won't let anyone take that position from me" she muttered and the king saw determination in her face and he smiled.

"That's more like it Maude, now go to Suprema kingdom and start claiming your rights bit by bits till it's fully yours" The king said

"Yes my king, with your permission I will go and pack" Maude bow and the king nodded with that she left.

~~~~~FLETCHERS APARTMENT~~~~~

"Hey Fletchers trust me that was really cool, I thought I was crazy but it's nothing compared to you guys craziness" Evelyn exclaimed and the sisters laugh out.

"Now you are overreacting" Calantha was able to say in between her laughter.

"I'm damn serious babe" Evelyn scoffed making the sisters laugh more.

"You know what, rolling you eyes like this make you look ugly like I mean really ugly" Calantha smirked.

"F**k your ass" Calantha scoffed hitting her bag in her head.

"Hey don't wound my hun for me" Lily chuckled.

"Ooohh I'm so jealous I don't have a huh" Evelyn cried out dramatically.

"You are so dramatic" Lily chuckled.

"I'm telling you, my darling is a drama queen" Calantha grinned making Evelyn laugh out.

"So I'm a drama queen now" She chuckled.

"Okay that's enough let's cook something" Lily said.

"I'm sorry buh my butt is stocked to the chair" Calantha muttered.

"Same here let's just order for something" Evelyn said and Lily sigh.

"Fine do as you guys please I will be upstairs.

"Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Calantha screamed out scaring the shits out of the two girls.

"F**k you wanna give me heart problem" Evelyn exclaimed her hand on her chest.

"Cal I hope there is a valuable reason for screaming like a woman who just saw a ghost cause if not then trust me you are doing all the chores for a whole week" Lily snapped her hand in her chest as well.

"F**k you cause I won't even be here tomorrow" Calantha shouted with a big smile plastered on her face.

"Now I'm curious what was the scream about" Evelyn muttered moving closer to her same as Lily.

"I'm sure you guys know that curiosity kills the cat right" Calantha chuckled.

"Well damn the cat and just spit it out" Lily said.

"Well I submitted my application to a organization and they accepted me" Calantha grinned.

"Which company, ahh finally you are dropping the researching stuff idea" Evelyn sigh and Lily take a water to drink.

"Wrong cause I will be working as a researcher there" Calantha said and immediately Lily choked splashing the water from her mouth to their face.

"Eeeeewwww Lily" Calantha said squeezing her face.

Evelyn didn't even mind cause what she heard is more shocking to her than what happened.

"So you will be working as a researcher in an organization, what work will you be doing there and the f**k what advantage is being a researcher" Lily snapped.

"So you are just gonna be solving riddles one after the other getting old like a bitch who just gave birth to her seventh child, Lily are you insane or what" Evelyn cry out.

"I just wanna do this you guys should let me do it plsss" Calantha did her puppy eyes.

"It's not gonna work today Cal it won't" Lily rolled her eyes matching towards her room shutting the door behind her and Calantha sigh.

"Are you seriously gonna be a researcher despite mine and Lily disapproval" Evelyn mumbled.

"I'm sorry but I will do anything you guys want except for this one so...and what's so bad about being a researcher" Calantha shrugged.

"Have you seen researcher for once, they looked like freaking old hags and I can't believe my own bestie will be one and you know how much I hate researchers they just want to know everything" Evelyn rolled her eyes.

"Maybe I will make you love them" Calantha grinned and Evelyn rolled her eyes.

"What's so good about researching" she sigh.

"I don't know about that it's just that I love knowing more and I want to know things beyond human imagination I just want to...ahh I can't even describe my feelings" Calantha replied.

"You are dumb do you know that?" Evelyn scoffed.

"Yh I know because Evelyn told me that" she chuckled.

"I can't stop you from fulfilling your long time dream anyway but that doesn't mean I support it willingly" Evelyn muttered.

"I'm okay with just your consent" Calantha grinned jumping on Evelyn.

"You are this happy because of researching" Evelyn scoffed.

"CALLY YOU ARE DUMB" Lily suddenly barked throwing a pillow at her.

"Ouch Lily" Evelyn hissed funnily, Calantha waved the pillow so it ended up hitting Evelyn.

"Sorry Evelyn but you are also agreeing with her seriously" Lily hissed looking at Calantha who was putting out her puppy eyes again.

"It's her dream we can't stop her and I didn't give my consent I just can't stop her" Evelyn scoffed staring at laugh out.

"Evelyn who is your bestie here she or me, Lily who is your sister here she or me" Calantha chuckled.

"Whatever, I hope the organization is nearby and when are you resuming" Lily asked.

"Yh it's nearby I will forward the address later and I'm resuming tomorrow" she replied.

"Ahh my pretty darl will look like an old hag now" Evelyn cried out dramatically.

"That won't happen I promise" Calantha smiled.

"I don't trust you" Evelyn muttered and Calantha glared at her.

"F**k you" she exclaimed.

"Whatever I'm going to take a nap and make sure food is prepared before I wake" Lily said going to her room.

"We are not cooking we will order" the two bestie screamed out and Lily chuckled.

"You guys really hate cooking huh or what" Lily chuckled.

"Hate is an understatement" they both said in unison again.

"You should have been my twin sis" Evelyn said and they all laugh out.

"Anyway cook or order I don't care, food must be served for me before I wake" Lily said shutting the door to her room

"Fine!!" Calantha replied.

~~~~~One month later~~~~~

"We told you not to be a researcher now look you are going on a stupid mission" Evelyn rolled her eyes and Calantha sigh.

"Eve we talked about this already" she groaned tired already.

"Shut your thrash" Lily hissed and Calantha chuckled.

"You both will be the end of me" Calantha said.

"Fine, make sure your phone is always with you and yeah if you see my message and you are too busy to reply just like the message or just do anything so I will know you are fine" Lily said worriedly.

"I understand Lily" Calantha said hugging her.

"Same here Cally and we must do video call at least once a week and I must hear your voice everyday" Evelyn mumbled.

"Yes mom" Calantha chuckled and just then the door was knocked.

"I will get going now, you guys should take care of yourself" Calantha said.

"Love you sweetie" Evelyn throw her a kiss and Lily just kept on staring at her.

"Ma'am let's go" someone told Calantha and her bag was carried over to the booth of the car and she entered after waving to the two ladies still looking at her.

"Bye" Lily and Evelyn sigh watching as the car drive away.

Calantha have been working in the organization for a month now and she was doing well.

She was given an abandoned case to solved and she solved it within weeks so the organization decided to send her and a group to a place where no one knows.

They heard supernatural things happen there and the people they sent so far never returned so some people in the organization voluntarily decided to go and Calantha also decided to join.

Lily sigh walking back to the house, a drop of tears fall from her eyes immediately she entered.

"It's fine Lily, she will be fine" Evelyn hug her trying to console her.

"I just hope the supernatural stories and all are fake and not true" Evelyn sigh too.

"I wonder how she will cope if it's all true, what if she come across some beast I watch in films, what if she get harmed, what if....." Lily let out all her fears crying more.

"Let's just be positive Lily all is well" Evelyn sigh wiping her tears.

"Gosh we have been going to an unknown place for the past 72hrs or more and we are not still there" A girl scoffed.

"It's a train not a plane" somone said

"Whatever" the first girl scoffed.

"Anyway Lan you are a newbie why did you volunteer to come" the third person asked.

They were five in a group, three talkative, a weird girl yh she's weird and Calantha.

"I have always wanted to do this so must there be a reason for doing what I have always wanted to do" Calantha shrugged trying not to sound rude.

"Well you don't have to be that sharp" the girl rolled her eyes.

"Yh she's kinda proud because she's pretty" the second girl said.

"That's because you guys are jealous" the only guy with them said smirking.

"Can you guys be quiet for once in your miserable life" the weird girl snapped.

Calantha sigh wearing back her head phones, she has been sitting down in this train for two days now and it's all tiring not that she regrets it.

Her mind drifted to the warning given to them by the superiors and she sigh.

"Incase you come across something weird just hold your breath" she keeps repeating this words in her brain.

Where they are going to, what's there, which creatures and weird thing is there.

All sort of questions kept popping up in her brain and she won't have answer to them till they reach their destination.

Staring at her team she sigh, " I wonder why they are going if they won't even be serious" she mumbled.

"They have a reason though" the weird girl said beside her and she made a Ohh sound.

"I'm Bianca" the weird girl suddenly said initiating a conversation.

"Calantha" Calantha smile and Bianca nodded.

"I know, the newbie they are all ranting about" Bianca rolled her eyes.

"I didn't know I'm that popular" Calantha smiled.

"Yh you sure are" Bianca chuckled and the others stared in shocked.

Bianca who never speak randomly is speaking to a newbie.

"You need to shut your mouth lady" Calantha said looking at the first girl whose mouth was wide opened.

"Damn you" she scoffed shutting her mouth still in shock Bianca is talking.

Bianca was the only survivor the last time a team was led to the place they are going to now.

And ever since the time she came back she just stay on her own.

The only word she told them was Suprema and they all wondered what it is but they were scared of that name because every time she mutters that name one bad thing or the other happen that day.

"Suprema!!!!" Bianca suddenly shouted.

"Damn!!!!" They all screamed out.
