Chapter 5 Stabbed

Suprema!!!!" Bianca suddenly shouted sending chills down everyone spines.

"Damn!!!!" They all screamed out jumping out of their seats.

Suddenly Bianca started laughing like a maniac, they thought she was crazy already.

"The f**k Bianca" The guy hissed.

"In your face Nick!!" Bianca chuckled finally stopping herself.

"That was an expensive joke Bianca I stopped breathing for a second" The first girl Blessing rolled her eyes.

"You really look ugly rolling your eyeball like that" Calantha chuckled.

"The old bitch who knows suprema and the newbie are both weird" the second girl said.

"Trust me it's a fact Caroline" Calantha laugh out still not forgetting the way they reacted because of a mere name.

"Are we still not there" Calantha suddenly hissed out frustrated already.

"We are there already I'm sure of it" Bianca said feeling the atmosphere and they all gulped down their saliva.

The train stoppped moving and opened itself.

Getting down from the train, a man waved his hand at them and they raised their eye brow.

"Hey fellas, I will be the one helping you guys here, I'm sure you guys won't want to go back broken or not go back again" The guy smiled and they all frowned.

"Excuse me" Calantha scoffed.

"The introduction is scary to begin with mister...." Caroline asked.

"My bad I'm Edwin so my car is in the streets let's start our journey then" Edwin said and they followed him except for Bianca who was staring around.

Noticing Bianca was left behind Edwin turned back.

"This isn't your first time here right?" He asked and she shrugged following them behind.

Immediately they entered the street, disgusting eyes followed them as if they were some kind of commodity or a dirty being not meant to be there.

"Hop in and don't mind them staring at you" Edwin said noticing their discomfort.

After they all settled in, the drive was silent only the screeching of the tyre can be heard.

Breaking the silence Nick asked. "Okay I won't deny this fact but why do I get a cold feeling about this place".

"I feel a strong aura here" Blessing puffed out.

"Silence" Edwin muttered as the car suddenly stopped moving on its own.

"Why the heck did you off the engine" Caroline hissed.

"Shut the f**k and hold your breath" Calantha snapped lowly seeing something and they all stared at her.

"There is nothing here" Nick muttered looking around.

"She's in front of the car hold your breath" Calantha said fear visible in her eyes.

Bianca looked at Carolina and she saw fear then they heard cracking as if something was untop of the car.

Looking at one another they nod their head and they began whispering something.

"Holy mother of Christ" the team mumbled holding their breath according to the instructions given to them.

After about one minute of chanting the words they heard a sound of someone crying and suddenly it stopped.

Looking at a weird and fine clothed woman leaving Calantha breathed out and they all looked at her.

"She went that way" she pointed and they all looked at her in awe breathing out.

"So the mythical creatures living here is true" Nick said.

"Her appearance says otherwise because she dressed well buh her face and the way she moved it's kinda off..." Calantha shrugged.

Buh wait a minute, nobody saw what was here minutes ago but you saw it, do you possess some kind of power" Caroline asked.

"About to ask same" Blessing said as well.

Looking at their serious face Calantha frown deepened.

"You guys saw nothing?" She asked.

"Is it not obvious that we saw nothing" Nick said.

"It's fine forget it" Edwin chuckled and continued the ride.

'What the hell just happened' Calantha thought a million questions popping up.

"All the answers to your questions will be answered when it's the right time" Edwin suddenly smiled and they all stared at him.

'Is he reading my mind now, ahh I'm just overthinking' Calantha mumbled under her breath and Edwin smile grew wider.

"Supreme Lord" all the noble men and woman in the court bow, their knees on the floor.

"Rise" he said his voice filed with power.

"Supreme Lord, I visited the strangers today and one lady out of them saw me" A lady said coming forward and his attention directed to her.

"No one can see me in my invisible body but she saw me and no spell in the world can open her eyes or something" the lady said.

"What are they up to" the voice feared by all asked.

"They have come here countless times with nothing to prove and they are here again" the leader of the soldiers said.

"Let then enjoy the environment while it last" the voice replied with a smirk on his face.

He suddenly felt odd, he disappeared from the court room appearing in his chamber.

"What's this feeling" he mumbled rubbing his temple because of the uneasiness he was feeling.

It was as if a part of him was trying to stay alive or something.

Staring at his figure in the giant mirror in front of him he frowned seeing a big black mark on his chest.

"She's hurt again?" he has been seeing this anytime he feel odd and it was confirmed that he felt that way because she's hurt or in danger.

His eyes changed color immediately just with the thought of him feeling odd because of some unknown lady.

"Is she okay" Bianca asked worry laced in her voice staring at Calantha who was lying on a bed.

She suddenly fainted so they called a doctor arranged by Edwin from God knows where to treat her.

"She's fine" the doctor replied and left.

"Mom" Calantha giggled like a child seeing her mom.

"Cal come here" her mom saud hugging her.

"Mom I finally fulfilled my dream of researching" Calantha grinned.

"Yes I can see that and you look very happy" her mom smiles.

"Yes mom but I volunteered to go and research in a weird place, I feel somehow there" Calantha said her smile dropping.

"Why did you volunteer?" Her mom asked her the smile not leaving her face.

"I don't know mom I just volunteered like that" Calantha shrugged.

"There we go Calantha, that weird place will be in trouble if you didn't volunteer" her mom replied.

"Why?"

"Because nobody will research what's going on there my lady, so promise me you will save the place and the people there" her mom said.

"I promise to give it my best mom" she smile and immediately it drop remembering something.

"Mom they have a king and queen or something right?" She asked.

"He is referred to as supreme lord not king because king is an understatement for him and he doesn't have a woman by his side, will you do him a favor and stay by his side" her mom asked.

"Mom this place isn't my abode so how can I stay by his side" Calantha said and her mom chuckled.

"Let destiny decides that sweetie, you should get going your friends are waiting for you" her mom said.

"Where are they I can't see them" She asked.

"Move forward Cal you will see them and she looked at her front.

"But there's no one here mom" she said looking at the back only to find her mom gone.

"Calantha" she heard her voice and she went closer to the voice calling her.

"Hey Cal are you okay!" She heard Bianca voice and she open her eyes.

"Hey" she smiled and adjust herself in the bed.

"Lemme get some water for you" Bianca said and excused herself.

"What was mom talking about, Supreme Lord?" She muttered.

"You heard of the name" Bianca said coming in.

"In a dream actually, is that the name referred to the ruler here?" She asked.

"You seem to know more than I presumed Calantha, who are you?" Bianca gave her a curtly look.

"What do you mean I said my mom told me that in a dream, I should be saying what you said now not vice versa" she rolled her eyes.

"Sorry for sounding rude or anything but no one out there knows about this name except me or maybe someone else out there but you knowing about it is completely absurd to me" Bianca explained herself.

"Maybe do you mind explaining what happened to you and your team back then" Calantha asked with a raised eye brow.

"Well came here researching, saw some unimaginable things then got caught by them killed survived slave and all" Bianca shrugged.

"How do you expect me to understand what you mean now" Calantha chuckled.

"The people here possess powers and their leader Ohh don't even mention the power he possess, just his blood is enough to wipe a nation" Bianca sigh remembering her past.

"Sounds like one evil asshole buh how did he possess such power tho" Calantha said her eyes filled with questions that needed answers.

"I don't know maybe that's why I came back to find out" Bianca shrugged.

"Hmm" Calantha nodded and the rest entered the room.

"Seems you are awake now, how are you" Edwin asked.

"Good as you see" she replied.

"Anyway there is only three room available and the way it seems Calantha and Bianca will be sharing a room, Blessing and Caroline one then Nick and I one" Edwin said.

"Good then, I have to share a room" Caroline scoffed finding her way out of the room.

"You must always prove that you are a bitch" Nick smirked staring at Caroline leaving.

"Suit yourself" she gave him her middle finger finally leaving the room.

"Bye for now we will gather together one hour from now" Edwin said and left the others tagging behind him.

"My mind is really full now cause I don't understand a thing" Calantha sigh staring at the unknown.

"You never know what the world brings" Bianca shrugged cutting the fruit on the table.

"Everywhere looks scary, really scary it feels as if I'm in a hunted environment" Calantha sigh looking at the environment through the window.

Bianca glanced at her and scoffed. "If you call this scary then I'm sorry you don't know even the slightest thing about this place"

"You are scaring me now really" Calantha scoffed.

"I'm just....ouch!!" Bianca winced as the knife cut her hand.

"You should be careful" Calantha rushed to her.

"I will take the first aid kit" she said and excuse herself.

Minutes later she came back with the first aid kit and opened it.

"Seems the cut is deep that's why it's still bleeding" Calantha sigh.

"Yh" Bianca sigh and Calantha hold the hand trying to clean the wound and immediately the wound disappeared as if it was never there shocking the two of them.

"What the f**k" Calantha jumped back and Bianca gasped staring at the wound and Calantha.

"I f**king knew it, you possess some kind of powers I noticed it when we were attacked by something, you were the only one that saw it, I just knew it" Bianca exclaimed.

"You are wrong, it was a misunderstanding something must have definitely happened buh how did the wound vanished like that" Calantha sigh.

"Buh I noticed some strange things happening to me tho, I mean I slapped Lily and she got hospitalized, some dreams and all...ahh I'm running mad"

"Chillax now Cal, How about I get wounded again to confirm if you do possess some power" Bianca said.

"That will hurt you tho" Calantha said.

"Will be a minor one compare to some pain I have felt" Bianca shrugged.

Immediately she said that she slide the knife into her leg and she winced in pain.

"What if it doesn't work?" Calantha said worriedly.

"Remove the knife then touch the wound, im sure it will vanish" Bianca said.

"Fine" Calantha said, staring at Bianca who looked less worry.

'She must have a lot of faith in me to just wound herself like that' she thought.

"I'm removing it now" she warned and removed the knife immediately.

"Touch it Calantha" Bianca said and Calantha placed her hand on the wound.

After about one minute she removed it and to her awe again the wound had vanished.

"Okay now I do possess some magical powers" Calantha breath out.

"You are no ordinary being then, you are birthed for a reason and then destiny lead you here are you the chosen queen by any chance" Bianca raised her eyebrow.

"Excuse me, what's with the chosen queen and what do you mean by destiny leading me here I came here because I Iove researching there's nothing more to it" Calantha shrugged.

"Nevermind buh your powers can't exist just like that without a reason" Bianca said still eyeing her.

"Okay that's enough" Calantha rolled her eyes just then Evelyn call came in.

"Lily chillax she's probably tired or busy" Evelyn said for the upteenth time.

"Try calling her number again" Lily mumbled.

"Fine" Evelyn dialled her line and she picked luckily

Seems you forgot the warning given to you" Evelyn snapped through the video call.

"I'm sorry it wasn't intentional I lost consciousness" Calantha said.

"Wait why? Did you meet mysterious beings? Are they the one that harm you? Are you okay? Hey talk you are scaring me?" Lily rushed her question.

"Lily I am fine I fainted due to fatique it was a three days journey or more so... and I'm fine" She replied.

"Have you meet any mysterious beings there already" Evelyn asked.

"Well yeah just one but among my team I was the only one that saw her" She replied.

"Ahh so it's all true then, they do exist" Lily exclaimed.

"I will be fine Lily and guess what I just found out about" she grinned.

"What" Evelyn asked.

"I have healing powers" Calantha said and the girls rolled their eyes.

"Do we look like a fool lady" Evelyn said.

"Watch me" Calantha said and pick the knife.

"Wait a minute what are you doing" Evelyn eyes widened.

"Cal stop playing expensive joke and drop that thing with you" Lily eyes widened.

"Lemme do you the Favour" they saw a girl said smiling to Calantha and immediately she shove the knife into her stomach.

"Calantha!!!!!!!!!!!" They screamed out in terror as they watch blood oozing out of her stomach trailing down her gown.
