Chapter 4 4

RIELY'S POV

"What is that supposed to be?" I asked with a frown, creasing my forehead.

"I'm sorry, ma'am," she apologized.

"That was too blunt," I replied to her.

"So sorry, please direct me to the way," she nodded, and this time we were all mute throughout.

Finally, we got to our destination. "Here you go, ma'am, this is your room," she opened the door. I couldn't count how many times today I have been amazed.

My room looked more like a palace. "Thank you," I uttered.

"Your food will be served soon," she walked away. I stepped into the most beautiful room I have ever seen, looking like a princess's room. I lay down softly on the bed, stretching my body and the books laying on my stomach.

"Firstly, tell me he's cute," I giggled while talking to myself.

"He is cuter than you can imagine. I wonder what his wolf form will be like," my inner wolf giggled inside, and at the same time, I felt a bit strange.

"I don't think I will fall in love again," I sighed.

"You have to, Reilly. He is my mate, and I won't want to punish you with the heating period," my wolf said from the inside, and I scoffed.

"You are really funny. If no one has told you that, you never spoke to me before. All of a sudden, at the last minute, you did, which was quite funny." Waiting for a response, I didn't get one.

"Won't you say something?" I asked, but she didn't respond.

"Fine, do what pleases you," I hissed, checking the books. I flung it open and started learning some things. I didn't know it, but I fell asleep.

"Knock," a knock sounded on my door, making me wake up. I went towards my door and opened it.

"Here is your food, ma'am," she went ahead and placed it on the table.

"You are instructed to get dressed if you don't feel comfortable in the clothes you are wearing."

"Have a nice day," she walked away. I sighed. I was expecting Zaid, but it was still the maid. I went towards the table and ate the meal prepared. It tasted so different.

"Oh, moon goodness," I moaned softly, munching the food. While eating, I could feel my stomach getting filled, and the clothes were tight, so I took them off.

I went towards the wardrobe and brought out a shirt and shorts. I looked at them in frustration. "How am I supposed to know what I will be putting on?" I whispered to myself and wore them.

Going back to munch on my food.

(Evening)

I went downstairs after being in my room all day. There was a silent and roaring sound everywhere. Many transformed into their wolves at night, but I couldn't do that.

I'm a very weak omega. I walked down the stairs, looking around and taking a deep breath.

I saw someone standing in front of me. It was Zaid, and my body began to feel hot. I walked towards him.

Touching him by leaning up, "Alpha Zaid," he turned back.

His forest green eyes were shining, and he was in his singlet. He looked devilish. We both fixed our gaze at each other. He walked towards me and unbuttoned my shirt. I could barely breathe with the touch of his hands on my body.

My nipples started erecting, and I didn't know when I felt like this last. He finally buttoned my shirt up.

"That's how you do it," he whispered, cutting me away from my lust.

"When did you want to stop ignoring me?" I asked him.

"Have you learned what I asked you to learn?" he asked me, trying to cover my question.

"Yes, I have done that," I replied without thinking. He nodded. "Good."

"Now, what is your plan towards the Midnight Pack?" he asked me.

"I want to avenge all of it," I replied without thinking twice.

"Do you need my support?" he asked.

"Of course, I do need your support, my Alpha," he gazed at me, scanning my body over and over again.

"I will help you," he said. "We are actually going to war. The Midnight Pack is trying to separate from my leadership."

"I don't know where they got the guts to leave my leadership and form their own nation," he folded his arms.

"Wow, a lot of things have happened while I'm away," I replied.

"Yeah, a lot, and I will need your help at the council, for your information."

"Why can't I tell you here? Why must it be in front of the council?" I looked at him furiously.

"Don't you trust me?" I asked him.

"Of course, I do, but I need a witness," he walked away, and I followed him in a hurry.

"I can tell you all the details you need to know, but talking in front of people, we can't just trust anyone."

"We?" he paused and smirked.

"We aren't 'we.'" The words he stated almost shattered me to pieces.

"Do you mind returning me to where you took me from? I don't want to be in a place where I am treated like shit."

"You can't go anywhere. I'm the Alpha, and your duty is to follow my command," he stated.

"Are you scared of losing me?"

"Losing you," he repeated the words. "I'm not scared of losing anyone. I have lost people in the past who were important to me." I was about to cry again, but this time, I didn't allow it.

"I want to be free and not held captive or used as a tool," I walked away from him while saying that.

"If you dare leave this place without my permission, you will regret it, and no one will walk out on me," he sounded cold. I turned and looked at him.

Going forward to meet him, "Don't make me go through what my ex did to me. Otherwise," I tried to calm myself from releasing any tears.

"Get ready for a race tomorrow. Goodnight," he walked away from me
