DAISY'S POV'S

He concluded his statement with a proud smirk while I stared at him in daze, desperately trying to connect the dots together.

He stopped the driver that was about to take off and continued with his ridiculous statement, " you will leave this place and I mustn't see you in this surrounding area. Actually, I should have killed you alongside your parents so as to eradicate any form of threat but I won't do that so if you know the best thing for you, leave this place as soon as possible," he chuckled after finishing his last statement.

" But being a generous person that I am and considering the fact that you have been an obedient child as well, I will have one of my guards escort you to a house at the outskirt of the city, you can stay low and live a peaceful life there,"

I was about to lament and complain when he cut me off, " although it's a cottage but it will save you the stress of appearing before me and my Luna," he added before he signaled to the driver to zoom off but that was after he has whispered something to the ear of the guard that was left with me.

" Go and pack your important stuff and remember that I don't have the luxury of time," he told me in a warning tone.

Dragging my feet on the ground, I made my way back inside the house. I couldn't resist the urge to stare around.

The memory of the morning came rushing to my head, I could even picture my mom's head resting on my dad's leg as they talked about the pack. Now, all the sweet memories are replaced with nothing but a broken heart.

For the first time in years, I clasped my hand together and made a wish. " Mom and dad, please be fine. I promise to be strong and wait for you," I whispered before I gathered myself together.

I took the small bag that I use for traveling and packed all my important stuff. My clothes are very much and I can't pack everything so I took the few comfortable ones that I will need. I also packed my diary and the family frame on my bedside table.

" What is taking you So long?" the angry guard busted out downstairs, I hurriedly zipped my bag and put the scattered stuff away. I got to the entrance door and turned back to give my room the last glance.

" I will miss you," I said with certainty as my gaze moved from My pink human sized doll to the lucky charm that I hung on the edge of the bed. After contemplating for a while whether to take the charm with me or not, the surrendered voice of the guard broke me out of my thoughts.

" I am coming," I shouted, dragging the heavy traveling bag behind me.

He climbed up the stairs and collected the bag from my hand, hurrying me to hasten up so that he could lock all the doors behind us.

He followed all the instructions that he was given before he opened the last vehicle in the compound and drove us to the palace.

When we got to the palace, all the pack members were already there and I could tell from all the disdainful and scrutinizing gazes that I was getting that all the pack that they had been told what happened.

" Come here," Alpha Charles said in a cold voice. I couldn't go against his order so I matched carefully to join him in the podium.

" As everyone knows that we don't entertain betrayers in this pack, therefore I want you to be informed that the pack members have been informed of your parent's atrocities before your arrival so they all will be there to escort you to the outskirts of the city," Alpha Charles said, totally going against his previous word that only a guard will be escorting me out.

I wanted to lament but I quickly recalled the kind of situation that I am in. He proceeded to ask me the last question," Do you have anything to say?" I nodded my head negatively, I have already been embarrassed and stripped of my rights, what else did I have to say?

" I have nothing to say," I answered and a loud murmur from the pack members followed up.

" Now, are you ready for your journey?" He asked and I shook my head in certainty.

" Now, you can be off," he said to me. I climbed off the podium and made my way to the guard that we arrived at.

My gaze swept across all the pack members' faces, some were looking at me with pity while others were looking at me with anger.

We took off and almost all the park members escorted us, though they had been instructed beforehand to return when we were halfway through the journey.

After three hours, we finally reached half of our journey and the majority of the pack members have returned back to their various houses with only a few still trekking behind us.

" We have gotten to where the Alpha said you all should escort us to, you can now return back to your various places," the guard instructed and they turned around to leave. As we proceeded with the journey, I could still see shadows of some that were still lurking around but I didn't bother to say anything.

After what felt like eternity, we finally got to the supposed house.

I felt repulsed by the sight of old cottage that looked like it was going to demolish anytime soon. Everywhere and everything around it looked dirty and unkempt, In Fact it is going to be one hell of a job to clean everything up.

" You can go inside and drop your load," the guard said and prepared to leave. I scratched my head nervously, thinking of how to put forward my question.

" Hmm, can I ask you for something?" I finally managed to say. He pushed and gave me a go ahead gaze.

I could see the pitiful gazes of the member that escorted us to this place. I didn't want to feel bad so I hurriedly shook off the pitiful feeling that was brewing Inside me and dropped my pending question.

" What will I be eating here?" before I knew it I blacked out

I turned my body around, "he is a traitor, I reject you as my mate! Those words echoed and I worked back to life.

Seeing myself in a modern room, comfy bed and nice room, "what going on? I asked myself sniffing in the air to know the pack I was.

I sat down upright and felt something strange popping in my heart, "what going on? I questioned myself.

A voice sounded from a distance, the step sounded mighty, I could feel something strange happening when the door opened.

He walked in, his 6'2" frame filling the room. His piercing brown eyes locked onto mine, and I felt a flutter.

His chiseled features and strong jawline gave him a mighty look, and his broad shoulders seemed to embody strength. He gave me a slow smile, and I felt my heart skip a beat.

"My mate," my wolf sounded, making me feel goosebumps all around me. All I wanted to do was to stand up and hug my mate.

With our gaze fixed on each other, he looked at me, I could feel our bond connecting, he stepped further, giving me a heartbeat.

"He is mine" my wolf said from the inside, he stepped further towards me leaning his forest green eye at me.

"Where is Aaron? He asked, I looked astonished by what I was seeing, hugging him won't be bad or having a kiss.

"Why are you in his room? He asked me with his green eyes, I snapped out of my thought.

"Aaron? I replied in confused

I couldn't believe my mate was trying to ignore me, I bit my lips seeing him lift up his lips to utter another word.

When someone came in clearing his throat, making him withdraw his gaze from me, still yet the fire burning in me hasn't gone down.

"Aaron" he turned back and hugged him, whispering something Into his ears

"Where did you see her, she doesn't smell like the shadow pack" he uttered, my mind picked the shadow pack, the mighty pack that rules the whole four kingdoms.

The modern and civilized pack that no one dare create war with, "shadow pack" I muffled the words and their attention were fixed on me

"Which pack are you from? The guy called Aaron looking in his thirties asked me, with his gaze on me

"I ... .am.....fr...om ... .Midnight pack" I stammered in fear bringing my legs closer to my body and wrapped my arms.

"Are you an imposter?" Aaron dragged his sword out, "patient Aaron," my mate stopped him. All I could do was fix my gaze on him.

"How did you get here?

"Did you know we are going for a war and you were sent" he asked me, I nodded furiously

'no, I'm not an imposter, I was been cashed by my pack and found myself here, I swear I could barely remember how I got into this room" I said with tears dripping out from my eyes

"Zaid, I protected her by some rogue and brought seeing her damsel look" he uttered

"Damsel look" Zaid uttered and smirked

"Protecting her from the rogue" he chuckled

"Yes, I didn't sniff her well, she was covered in dirt and I could barely recognize the saint" he uttered

"I want you to bring her to the palace now? He bellowed and walked out, suddenly the hotness I was feeling went down

Why can't he claim me? I questioned myself

"I need to be very careful so I won't end up shattered" I whispered to myself

"Damsel, I'm " he walked towards me stretching his hands

"Nice meeting you" I stretched my hand reluctantly and shaked him.

"You are looking hot" he winked at me

"I'm Aaron moone cousin to the alpha Zaid ruler of all four kingdoms, shadow, midnight, blue moon, and Avati pack, I'm the beta second in command and we are the most civilized pack with advance technology and lot" he said feeling like a Duke, I let out a broad smile.

"Thank you so much for saving" he uttered

"You welcome" he smiled, "now get ready to meet the alpha, some maid will get you dressed up" he said walking out of the room.

Few minutes later some ladies dressed in a shirt and black skirt came inside my room looking more like a waitress, those clothes in my pack are for waitresses.

"Are you ready ma'am? One of the ladies asked and I nodded.

They took me up and bathed me inside a tube, finally dressed me up, applied some makeup to my face and added some perfume which made me sneeze.

"Have you ever seen that before? I whispered

"You can only see it here" one of the lady whispered

"You look perfect" with a broad smile appearing on her lips

"Now alpha Zaid await you" she uttered
