Chapter 2 Her fan

Lena wasn't as calm as she looked. She just tried to keep a cool face. She couldn't cry over those two traitors. They were too disgusting for her to feel hurt.

But she was so angry that she didn't know how to react. So when she heard that phone call, she immediately went to the racetrack. She needed to vent, then she would come back to deal with that despicable couple.

It was too easy to hit or scold them, she had to make them regret it deeply.

That was what Lena had planned before she discovered something was wrong with her race car. She slowed down, but at the turn, the car didn't follow her control and flipped over.

"How pitiful. I didn't expect that after just one day, the daughter of the prestigious Rivera family would become like this. She had a racing accident, her father was arrested and imprisoned, her stepmother ran away with the money. Her friends also disappeared after hearing the news. Fortunately, you are still taking care of her. Mr. Harris, you are such a good person!" A woman's voice rang out.

"No, it's just the right thing to do. Besides, I'm her fan." A man's deep and melodious voice replied.

Lena opened her eyes and woke up, feeling a dull pain in her head. She blinked and looked at the two people standing and talking beside her hospital bed. It was a female doctor and a tall man dressed in black. Although it was not the time, she found him very handsome and elegant, able to attract others with just one look.

The man suddenly turned to look at her. Seeing her about to sit up, he quickly stopped her, "Don't sit up. You have cracked ribs, you should stay still for now."

Lena had no choice but to lie still on the bed and look at him. Up close, his face looked even more handsome. He had neatly gelled dark hair, slightly cold blue-gray eyes, a high straight nose and seductive lips. There was something familiar about his face, but she didn't know who he was.

"Excuse me, who are you?" She asked.

"Jayden Harris, a fan of yours, Miss Rivera." He replied in a friendly manner and smiled. "You can call me Jayden."

"Rivera?" Lena muttered. "Is that my name? Why am I injured?"

Her head suddenly felt like it was being hammered. She saw a flash of surprise in the man's eyes. Then he frowned and asked, "You... don't remember anything?"

The doctor also hurried over, looking at her with a worried gaze, "We need to check again."

Damn it, what the hell is going on?

Jayden cursed under his breath, took a deep drag on his cigarette, and blew the smoke out onto the balcony.

"We're sorry, Mr. Harris. The car accident has caused Miss Rivera to lose her memory." The doctor's voice echoed in his head.

They had previously diagnosed her with a mild concussion from the accident, but it turned out that it had also caused her to lose her memory.

Jayden recalled the chaotic scene at the racetrack tonight. The logistics team carried the unconscious blonde out of the blue and white car. She was no longer cool, lying limply on the stretcher like a discarded doll. After running over to watch curiously, her friends said to each other, "Have you heard the news? Mr. Rivera was just arrested by the police for embezzling company funds."

Then they dispersed.

Jayden almost burst out laughing at that moment.

Lena, why are you so pathetic?

Those bullies were the ones she personally bailed out of the police station after doing bad things but now, none of them stayed by her side.

It was only natural, because she was the worst.

Jayden had a younger sister who had been missing since she was little. His mother fell ill because of missing her and his father spent a lot of money and effort looking for her. Years passed, and when they met her again, she was in the hospital, with her hair cut in disarray, her body covered in wounds, and her mind unstable. It turned out that after being separated from them, she was taken in by a poor family in this city. While working part-time at an entertainment center, she accidentally became the target of bullying by a group of rich kids. Those people had been bullying her for a long time. The last time, she was hospitalized with injuries all over her body. The group of people who bullied her were arrested by the police but were quickly bailed out by their leader.

The first time Jayden saw Lena, she was leisurely walking down the hospital corridor, her hands in the pockets of her leather jacket, her head held high with pride, her blond hair dazzling his eyes. Behind her was a group of noisy and boastful rich kids.

"Lena, you are our queen! With you, we don't have to be afraid of anyone." A woman dressed in a patient's gown put her arm around her shoulder and said.

"Shut up. You went to the hospital just because your hand was cut? I won't come to see you again next time." Lena laughed, her voice clear but full of authority.

There were a few more people in patient's gowns in the group, the ones who attacked Jayden's sister. They were unharmed but went to the same hospital with his sister to prove that it was just an argument and not bullying.

A bunch of rotten and vile people. They laughed and joked as if what had happened was a farce.

Those people were later demanded back by him for each wound they caused his sister. But as for the leader, one lesson was not enough. Never had he wanted to destroy anything so much as that arrogant smile of hers.

Jayden gently put out his cigarette. He didn't expect that before he could do anything, Lena would be crushed to the point that she would lose her memory.

If that was the case, what fun would revenge be?

Returning to Lena's hospital room, he was about to push the door open but suddenly stopped. On the hospital bed, the blonde woman was sitting hugging a pillow, her body trembling and tears falling down.

At that moment, Jayden suddenly came to a decision.

Don't think that everything is over. If she loses that arrogant smile, he just needs to bring it back and put it on her face. If she has nothing left, he will reach out to save her, become her hope, her world, then slowly trample on it, watching her suffer.
