Chapter 4 The Unexpected Invitation (2)

*_Chapter four: The

*** ***. ***.

Aria's eyes widened as she took in the sight of the mansion, her mind reeling with questions. She had never seen anything like it before. The mansion seemed to gleam like marble in the moonlight, its windows and doors shining like a thousand tiny mirrors.

"Wow," she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper. "This is incredible."

Kael smiled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I'm glad you like it," he said, his voice filled with pride.

As they stepped out of the car, Aria felt a sense of excitement building inside her. She had no idea what the night had in store, but she was ready to find out.

Kael gazed softly at her, a warm glint flashing through his eyes.

But wait... What was he even doing? By bringing Aria to his house?

The mansion loomed before them, its grandeur and beauty awe-inspiring. Aria felt like she was stepping into a different world, one where anything was possible.

Kael instinctively took her hand, leading her towards the entrance.

Placing his hand on the scan, the doors swung open, revealing a grand foyer with a sweeping staircase.

Aria's eyes widened as she took in the sight, almost cutting off her breath, her mind reeling with wonder.

"Welcome Aria " Kael said, glancing at her, his voice filled with warmth. "Make yourself at home."

Aria smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Kael. She knew that she was in for a special night, one that she would never forget.

A man? A woman? Alone? In a big mansion? With beautiful ambience?

Even a ninny would only take a minute to figure it out.

Wait, was this what it was all about?

Aria was confused, but more so, too entranced to care less.

As they walked through the mansion, Aria couldn't help but notice the intricate details. The walls were adorned with artwork, and the floors were made of polished wood. Every step seemed to creak with a soft, luxurious sound.

Kael led her to a grand ballroom, the ceiling soaring above them like a cathedral. The room was filled with people, all of whom seemed to be enjoying themselves. Aria felt a sense of wonder, unsure of what to expect.

What was his purpose for bringing her here?

Could a mere writer own so much? Assets, estimatingly exceeding billions?

"What's going on?" she asked Kael, her voice barely above a whisper.

"It's a party," Kael replied, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I thought it would be a great way to introduce you to my friends."

Aria's heart skipped a beat as she looked around the room. She felt a sense of excitement building all over again, inside her.

So it was just a party?

And all guests were upstairs! The reason why she thought the house was empty.

Sincerely speaking, Aria didn't know whether to feel dissappointments or joy.

As they mingled with the guests, Aria felt like she was part of a different world; Abstract, mysterious, magical, and surreal. Aria really wondered when her little fairy tale story would come to an end. And when her life, everything would just go back to normal. Easy, non_ complicated, work life.

Everyone seemed to know Kael, and they all greeted him with warmth and affection. Aria felt like she was getting a glimpse into Kael's life, and she was fascinated.

Truly was.

The music seemed to pulse through the air, the beat infectious. Aria found herself moving to the rhythm, feeling a sense of freedom and joy, as she teased Kael with a gentle nudge. Kael smiled, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"You're enjoying yourself," he said, his voice filled with warmth.

Aria nodded, feeling a sense of happiness. "Yes, I am! " she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. " You're so stiff you know?" Aria teased, and Kael laughed so hard, Aria's heart swelled with joy.

As the night wore on, Aria felt like she was getting to know Kael better. Getting more, and more involuntarily attracted.

She saw a side of him that she hadn't seen before, a side that was charming and witty. She found herself laughing and smiling, feeling a sense of connection with him that she couldn't quite explain. Ever so mysterious.

A river with no end or borders was dangerous for a swim. Aria knew, but still freely leaped into the danger, without a backward glance.

But as the night drew to a close, Aria couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Kael's life than met the eye. She saw glimpses of something darker, something that seemed to lurk beneath the surface.

The party extended into the night, and nearing the end, wee morning hours, guests began dispersing.

As they said their goodbyes and left the mansion, Aria felt a sense of anticipation building inside her.

She knew that she was in for a wild ride, one that would take her to places she never thought she'd go.

What was even wrong with her?

So comfortable in a big mansion with a guy She hadn't even spent up to a month with?

"What's next?" she asked Kael, her voice filled with curiosity.

Kael smiled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You'll just have to wait and see," he replied, his voice low and husky.

Aria's heart skipped a beat as she looked at Kael. She knew that she was in for an adventure, one that would change her life forever.

Her heart fluttered, like she was anticipating something greater than her.

The guests had gone, and they were alone.

She wouldn't hesitate for a moment to even give herself to him.

Aria loved testing the winds, loved wildlife, and

crazy, mysterious adventures since childhood.

Well, this was definitely her chance.

" Go for it" Aria's voice sounded spell_bound, as She wrapped her arms around him.

She might as well regret this later, fairy tell story ending time.
