Chapter 4 Pursuing and Divorcing

As soon as Bella finished her call, she goes to her car, waiting for an update. After a few minutes, one of her men spotted Adrian entering Blue Deep Crimson, a private restaurant, so she start driving towards it.

Not long after, Bella parks her car and exits, walking towards the restaurant and gets inside. When she moves towards the counter, she casually asked if there is a reservation for Adrian Wilkins. The man, unaware of who she is, responds along with the name of Simon Harrison and where their room is. Bella thanked him and proceeds to move towards the said room.

After standing in front of the door, she knocks and the door opens, only to see Adrian's shocked face before he quickly changes into a cold look, a rare sight that she never saw before.

"Bella? What are you doing here?" Adrian coldly asked.

"I'm here to talk to you. You wouldn't mind, would you?" Bella retorted back with the same coldness she carries while taking a look at the man in front of her clearly this time.

She can see how much he have changed, both his physique and his demeanor, as he carries himself more with confidence and dominance.

"Well?" Bella asked, waiting for his answer.

Simon, still seated, feeling worried at Adrian while also confused as to how did Bella managed to find out that Adrian is here.

After a short silence, Adrian coldly speaks. "I mind as I am currently tied up with catching with my friend. I do not have any time to spend with you." Adrian is about to close the door when suddenly Bella slams the door with her palm, preventing him from closing.

"Is that so? Have you forgotten that we are still married that you chose to catch up with your friend? How about catching up with your wife instead." Bella emphasizing the words 'married' and 'wife', making him discomfort.

Adrian, still holding onto his patience, looks at her with the same cold, unwavering gaze. "It is true that we are still married. That is why we'll end it. Let's get divorced." Adrian's tone dripping with determination, leaving Bella momentarily stunned before snapping out of it.

"Divorce? If that's what you want, then I won't hold back in pursuing you." Bella declares at him, making Adrian's eyes widen as he is the one feeling surprised this time, not expecting for her to say that.

"This time, I'll make it up to you. 3 years I have been cold and unfaithful to you. And another 3 years, I have been missing your presence." Bella's tone dripping with softness, a rare tone she never used before. "1 month. If I can't still convinced you, then I will agree to your divorce. Until then, I will be pursuing you with my actions."

With that, Bella turns around and walk away before Adrian have a chance to speak.

Adrian couldn't help but stare at her retreating figure, feeling disbelief from everything he had heard from her. 1 month. 1 month of trying to win him over, Adrian thought before letting out sigh and closes the door.

Simon, sensing the tension and have heard everything, walk towards him, giving a reassuring pat on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Adrian. You've already changed and pursued your dream to become a soldier. I can tell that you've already moved on and wanting to not any deal with her. Just so you know that your family and I will always be here to support you."

Adrian relaxes slightly before giving him a nod. "Thanks, Simon. You're always know what to say."
