Chapter 4 THE HOTEL GUEST

After some minutes, a man in his fifties entered, with some men on black. He is grey haired, even though he's gone in age he still looked fit and handsome. His grey hair accentuated his handsomeness. His aura given that his old self still holds some power. The way he walks you'll know he has some power in his hands. He came in smiling to Nath and Nath smiled back.

"Hola mi amigo", he said in Spanish hugging Nath

"Hola, señor Perez", Nath replied

"¿Como estas?", He asked

"Si estas bien, ¿Y tu?" Nath replied

"Bien bien bien," he said smiling

"Gracias para mi tengo", he said

" No, Este bien", Nath answered

" ¿Donde es tu novia"?, He asked winking

Nath laughed

"Enough with the Spanish now, I think that's where I can stop", he said smiling

"Okay okay okay, so you haven't answered my last question", he said

"No I don't have for now", he said

They all laughed..

Mr Perez started, his face darkened

" The rate at which the enemies are fighting my gang is quite alarming, they are killing my men and also bribing them to betray my gang".

Nath was listening with abrupt attention, every word Mr Perez was saying made him frown. He kept on talking "...and it's not just that," Mr. Perez continued, his voice low and menacing. "They're also trying to infiltrate our operations, gathering intel on our movements and plans. It's like they have a mole within our ranks."

Nath's frown deepened, his mind racing with the implications. "Do you have any idea who's behind this?" he asked, his voice firm.

Mr. Perez nodded, his eyes narrowing. "I have my suspicions, but I need proof. That's where you come in, Nath. I need you to investigate, find out who's behind this and put a stop to it."

Nath nodded, his jaw clenched. "I'm on it," he said, his voice dripping with determination.

Mr. Perez smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "I knew I could count on you, Nath. You're one of the few people I trust."

The two men sat in silence for a moment, the only sound the hum of the air conditioner. Then, Mr. Perez spoke up again.

"Nath, I have one more thing to ask of you."

"What is it?" Nath asked, his eyes locked on Mr. Perez's.

"I want you to take care of something for me," Mr. Perez said, his voice low and mysterious. "Something that requires... delicate handling."

Nath raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What is it?" he asked again.

Mr. Perez leaned forward, his eyes glinting with a hint of danger. "I'll tell you soon enough," he said. "For now, let's just say it's a matter of great importance and privacy is priorities."

Nath nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. He knew that when Mr. Perez spoke, you listened. And when he asked for something, you did it, no questions asked.

"Consider it done," Nath said, his voice firm.

Mr. Perez smiled again, this time with a hint of satisfaction. "I knew I could count on you, Nath," he said. "You're a true friend."

The two men sat in silence for a moment, the tension between them palpable.

Mr. Perez then made the hand sign gesture, Nath immediately recognized it as the mafia's secret salute. Without hesitation, Nath mirrored the gesture, and the two men repeated it in unison, their hands moving in perfect synchrony.

The gesture was a symbol of loyalty, respect, and solidarity, and Nath knew that by reciprocating it, he was reaffirming his commitment to Mr. Perez and the organization.

The air was thick with tension as the two men locked eyes, their gazes burning with intensity. For a moment, time seemed to stand still, and all that existed was the unspoken understanding between them. The CEO turned to Ava raised an eye brow "get the refreshments," he said . She left immediately.
