Chapter 4 Alex's Obsession

3RD PERSON POV

Red Viper's empire.

"What? What do you mean by Marco took her?" the masked guy questioned angrily.

"I'm so sorry, boss. We saw his car leaving when we got there!" The informant dropped to his knees immediately.

"It's your fault, you fool! If you hadn't imposed such a huge amount of money on her, she wouldn't have left. We could have successfully carried out our plan to capture her that night. You fucking ruined everything, you bastard!" He kicked the guy in the belly, sending him across the room.

"I'm sorry, boss, please spare my life. I had expected her to ask if there was a way to redeem herself for her offense, but she left instead. I wanted to get her to be in your favor. I never knew she'd leave and that Marco would take her. Please forgive me," the informant begged for mercy.

"Be in my favor?" He chuckled.

"I don't want her to be in my favor! I want her to love me for me. I want her to accept me for who I am. I was a step away from achieving that, but what did you do? You spoiled the whole thing! You ruined my entire life's struggle. You don't deserve to live! You deserve to die," he aimed his gun right at the informant's forehead.

"Please, boss, it's not entirely my fault. Leo ruined the whole thing. He was supposed to get her for you, but then he went ahead and fell for her. He was the one who spoiled your entire plan for his own selfish interests. I was only trying to redeem the situation. Forgive me, boss," Alexendro (the guy) smirked. "Seems I forgot about someone very important. Thank you for reminding me. Where's him?" The informant quickly stood up, regaining his composure.

"In his chamber, boss. He hasn't stepped out of his room since yesterday," Alex smirked mischievously.

"Go back and see what we can do to redeem the situation. I will pay Leo a visit." With that, he stormed out, and the guy sighed in relief.

"I don't want to meet anybody now. Go and come back later," Alex chuckled and knocked again.

"Can't you just obey a simple instruction? Get out before I lose it!" Leo snapped.

"You sure you want me to get out?" Leo opened the door immediately when he heard his boss's voice.

"I'm sorry, boss. I didn't know it was yo...." His statement was interrupted by a punch.

"How dare you, Leo? How dare you betray me? You of all people should know how important she is to me. I trusted you. But what did I get in return? Betrayal! You fucking betrayed me, mother-fucker!" Another punch hit him in the mouth, sending him back into the room. Alex followed him in, banging the door behind him.

"You fucking fell head over heels for her. I thought that was the end of it, but you did worse. You shattered her. You pushed her into the hands of another man right under my nose! If you hadn't messed up, she wouldn't have left work earlier than usual. Yet you tell me to my face that you are innocent! You're not, you fucking fool. You're gonna regret this!" Leo tried getting up but fell back on his butt.

"I'm not in love with her, I swear. I only got closer to her to bring her to you," he defended. Alex chuckled darkly.

"Bring her to me? Indeed! You made her love you, then you asked her to be your girlfriend! You totally forgot she's mine! I will fucking make sure you pay!" Another punch followed. By now, Leo was already bleeding from his nose, but Alex cared less.

Leo stood up, panting heavily.

"What? You think you can just get rid of me after everything? Come on, dear cousin, it's impossible! Why act like you're the boss when we both know you're not? Our fathers own this, so stop acting like it's just your father's! I have respected you enough, Alex. It's high time I stood up for myself!" Leo snapped back in frustration.

"How dare you!" Alex tried punching him again, but he grabbed Alex's hand, returning the punch before he could realize it.

"Don't you dare!"

Venom watched as the nanny led Sarah toward Marco's chamber. She cracked her knuckles, her gaze fixed on Sarah.

"She feels so proud. Look how cheap she's dressed! Only you deserve to be called his; she'll definitely pay for taking the boss from you!" Cheetah, the lady who slapped Sarah earlier, blurted.

"I just feel like killing her. The boss even cut your wrist because of her; she doesn't deserve pity!" Arizona, the second one who tried using her knife on her, jibbered heartlessly.

"Taking care of her won't be a problem," she smirked mischievously.

"What do you mean?" Arizona questioned, curiosity getting the best of her.

She whispered something into their ears. Cheetah chuckled while Arizona gasped fearfully.

"You're not doing that, Venom. That's way too much, considering the fact that she hasn't offended you. Why not just let the girl be and focus on getting Marco back?" Arizona whispered.

"You just shut up! You are in no position to tell me what to do, you fool!" Venom shut her up.

"You are only saying this to make yourself look like the good guy. We both know she deserves to die," Cheetah slammed, pushing her aside.

Arizona sighed. As much as she hates Sarah, she still doesn't wish for her to suffer that fate. Venom is taking the whole thing way too far.

"You should take out your frustrations on the boss and let the poor girl be! You and I know she has no control over what is happening to her." Venom's glare prevented her from saying anything further.

"Venom, Nanny Daisy left already. Why not go talk to her?" Cheetah, seeing the nanny, suggested as she left Sarah to her fate. "Good! Let's see how she succeeds in seducing him." She headed in that direction, but before she could get to Sarah, Sarah walked in and slammed the door shut. "Fuck!" She cursed in frustration.
