"You have done enough today". Leland said, stretching a bottle of water to Adam. "You don't have to be so angry". He added, looking at him with concerned eyes.
"How is Mia my mate? I prefer my wolf fades, the moon goddess must be messing with me". He said every word with a punch on the punching back.
He has been beating the crap out of the punching bag since he left home.
"Well if your wolf fades I can become the alpha, don't worry I will make you my beta". Leland said jokingly. "Common, we have to move tomorrow and it is late already", he added, looking worried.
Adam suddenly stopped, grabbed the bottle and glupped the content down within 3 seconds. He took a deep breath to calm himself.
"Let's go home, I still have a few things to pack". Leland said leaving the gym immediately, while Adam followed closely.
The ride home from the gym was silent.
Adam got down from the car immediately they entered the compound and hurried to his room, trying to avoid his mum or anybody that might want to talk about Mia.
He got to the top of the stairs when he heard his fathers voice. "Son", his father called. He continues walking toward his room pretending to not hear his father.
"I know you can hear me, "Adam," his father said in a calm voice. He stopped and looked back. "Father," he said with a bow.
"Your mother told me what happened," Joe said worriedly. "I don't want to talk about it." Adam replied, irritation laced in his voice.
"But we need to talk about it. The future of this pack lies in your hands Adam. We can't ignore this. His father replied. This is just a little sacrifice you have to make" his father added very calmly.
Adam growled, turning his face away from his father. His fist was already formed into a ball out of anger. He was obviously not comfortable with the discussion.
"Let's move to the library, we need to talk now" Joe said, leading him to the liberty.
They entered a large room with the walls filled with books, there was a long table surrounded with chairs and a mini bar at the left corner of the room.
"Sit," Joe said as moved toward the mini bar.
He poured himself a glass of whisky. "Want some?" He asked Adam. "Yes," Adam replied in a firm voice.
Joe poured whisky into another glass, and moved toward the long table holding the two glasses of whisky and gave his son one.
"My son," he started, as he took his seat next to Adam "I know you don't like Mia, I have seen how cold you are to her". Joe said
"I am not cold, I just don't care about her". Adam replied immediately.
"Adam, she's your soulmate," Joe said sharply.
"No father, the moon goddess is messing with me." Adam protested "it must be a mistake," he added, shaking his head vigorously before he took a sip of his liquor.
"The moon goddess has never made a mistake," Joe said, focusing on his son.
"I'm sure you know we can't reject our mate, and you know why," he paused.
Joe used his finger to push down his glasses and took a look at Adam from above his recommended glasses, expecting a response from his son but Adam remained quiet.
"Okay, i will explain to you again." he said and took a long sip of his whisky, cleared his throat and continued.
"I'm sure you know we are the only pack of werewolves left among the mortals of this world. After the war against werewolves my father struggled to bring us back together and that is why we have to keep our identity a secret" he paused and coughed.
"No werewolf is allowed to reject his or her mate because we are not much and we need to multiply"he continued.
"And again rejecting your mate can make your mate die or run wild, which will definitely cause war. You know Mia's family is also influential among the wolves, we don't want to mess with them."
"Also your wolf will fade without a mate". He cleared his throat and continued.
"And as the future alpha that you are, your wolf is not allow to fade or else you will be ripped off ur right and i don't want that for you son".
"Mia is probably somewhere getting fvcked." Adam said, interrupting his father.
"No, she is with your mum". Joe replied sharply.
"Please you have to accept Mia for the future of the Pack and this family. Mia is a very strong werewolf. She will be a great luna son."
Joe stopped expecting a reply from his son. But all he got was a quiet Adam sipping his whisky.
"So?" He asked. "I will think about it, father," Adam replied angrily.
"There is nothing to think about, you don't have a choice Adam." Joe said before drinking the remaining of his liquor. He stood up and left the library.
**Adam's Room**
Adam came out of his bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist. When he spotted Mia on his bed, half naked.
"What are you doing here?" He asked without taking a glance at her.
"My wolf wants her mate." Mia replied, crawling on the bed.
"Get out!" Adam ordered in a stern voice. "I won't. I need you to mark me Adam." Mia replied, smirking.
She stood up from the bed and walked toward Adam."Mate." She growled into Adam's ear hugging him from behind.
"Get out before I have the guard throw you out" Adam instructed, slapping off her hands.
"You don't have to be so stubborn". She said and planted a kiss on his neck.
"I'm your mate Adam," Mia added, trying to hug him again.
"I will rip off ur head Mia if you dare touch me again." Balling his fist, he pointed at the door ordering her to leave.
"Fine! I will leave! But don't come begging after me!" She stomped her foot and left.
"Make sure you don't come back." He shouted before she slammed the door.
He got dressed quickly and headed out, he heard his wolf whimpering as he drove off to the bar but he ignored it hoping to see Raina again before leaving Oxtown.
Adam sat at the bar for five hours sipping vodka, silently praying Raina would show up but he had to go home disappointed.
Immediately he got back to his room, he picked up his phone and dialed a number. "Hello." He said in a very cold thick voice.
"Meet me at the Airport tomorrow before we leave." He added sharply, dropping the phone immediately.
**The Next Day***
"If you don't get here in 3 minutes, I will have your head on my plate for dinner". Adam yelled fuming in anger.
Adam was at the park airport. Their luggages was moved already and everybody was already seated but Adam was nowhere in the plane.
"Mr Nash, we are ready for takeoff," a cabin crew announced.
"Then wait!" He said, shooting his cold eyeball at the air hostess. With shaky legs she ran back into the plane.
"I'm sorry alpha." A thick voice said from a distance rushing toward Adam with his head bowed.
"What took you so long" Adam took the man by his collar, his eyes shot with anger.
"The traffic... I'm sorry alpha." The man stattered, trying hard to not look into Adam's dark eyes.
Adam left the man's collar and tried to calm himself. He has not been in his best mood ever since he found out Mia was his mate. And had been taking out his anger on everyone around him.
"I need you to find someone before the rest of you move next month." He said calmly but his stare was cold.
"Do you have a picture? alpha." The man asked, still bowing.
"No, but I have a faint description of what I can remember." Adam replied, his right hand robbing his perfect jawline trying to remember every single detail.
"Okay, good." The man quickly brought out a sketchbook and a pencil from the big cross bag he was carrying.
"Oval shaped face, full ocean blue eyes, button nose, followed by a full luscious lips" he said reminiscing about the night with Raina.
"Okay. Any other thing?" The man asked while sketching.
"Dark wavy hair, about size 10, should be 5ft tall and beige." Adam stopped trying to remember any other thing.
"Name is Raina, Raina Matins, is that clear?" He asked. "Yes alpha," the man replied, nodding.
"That's all for now, I will let you know if there's anything else." Adam said and moved toward the plane.
"I will try my best," The man said, rounding up his drawing before leaving.
"Make sure you find her." Adam ordered before entering the plane.
