Chapter 4 The outburst

She's mine he said with possession evident in his voice as I locked eyes with him, his eyes darkened he looks so monstrous as though he'd go on a killing spree, I needed to find out who this lady was and what's she's done to Kieran, this cold hearted prince that doesn't care about the world, why does he suddenly care about someone he has never met before getting married, even going as far as saying she belongs to him.

Could she be the one that'll melt this ice king's heart, I need to find out if she's the one that'll tame his demon and if she's the one I'll do all I can to stop her marriage, I don't give a fuck about who she's getting married to buh I have to stop the wedding before it's too late.

I don't even want to think of what Kieran will do, I know just how far he's willing to go to get what he wants, this could lead to a wild blood shed, I have to handle this matter before it gets completely out of hand cause Kieran could go on a killing spree, I thought to myself.

Kieran I called out as his face went back to it normal state, speak he said so indifferently, I'll take care of things, I'll make sure I bring her to you, I said with confidence, Kieran just walked away without sparing me a glance. I ran after him knowing he was furious and needs to free his demon, when he lets his demon surface, it goes on a rampage causing chaos and destruction, I had to act fast, I couldn't let him leave the palace wall and go into the city! The last time he broke free into the city a lot of people died I tried my best to cover it up as an animal attack cause the humans in Gamaria doesn't know that their ruled by vampires, I quickly sent words what Kieran was heading out of the palace and the guards began sealing the gates, the gates are made of a very strong metal titanium, buh weren't fast enough Kieran got there before they could completely seal the gate as some guards lined up blocking his part while the other guards focused on sealing the gate in the flash of an eye Kieran attacked the guards trying to block his part, he unleashed his demon on them and in a few seconds they were all lying on the floor.

He looked up and saw the guards trying to seal the gate as he leaped towards their direction buh was confronted by Kai, he groaned angrily as he began fighting with Kai. Kai was the strongest of his men and the only one that could hold a good fight against him the they fought for a while there was a smirk on Kieran's face as they fought and then he gave him a blow sending him flying across the hallway, this was amusing he said as he leaped towards the guards who had successfully sealed the gate, the knocked them over as they fell, he twisted the lever with all his might as the gate began to open.

The lever of the gate was strongly connected to the gate that it takes five vamp men to twist, Kieran has never succeeded in twisting the gate lever not until today.

Kai couldn't help buh stare in disbelief, what is this lady doing to Kieran, Kai thought as he leaped towards Kieran in vamp speed buh before he got to him Kieran had already succeeded in opening the gate as he disappeared in the twinkle of an eye. I need to find Kieran in this state I don't know what Kieran will do Kai said to himself as he was about taking off a guard came to him the king has sent for his highness he said, without responding Kai took of in the direction of Kieran buh he was no where seen he kept looking and then he heard a cry for help as he ran towards the direction the voice was coming from.

There Kieran was holding a lady in his arms as he feed on her, Kai was perplexed, he isn't causing havoc he thought to himself as Kieran suddenly let the lifeless body fall as he took off again, Kai ran after him knowing Kieran was too fast, he had to outsmart him so he took another route anticipating where Kieran is headed, he cornered Kieran as anticipated. The king has summoned you, he said as Kieran sighed in surrender.

Even though Kieran is stubborn he knows better than defiling the king, it never goes well for those who offends the king and no one is an exception.

Kieran's POV

She'll be getting married soon, Kai's word rang in my head, as my demon screamed out "she's mine". My eyes darkened at the thought of her getting married, the sound of my name drew me back to reality as I turned to Kai, Don't worry I'll take care of it he said." I knew he would buh I needed to get her off my mind cause the thought is driving me insane so I walked out of the palace towards the gate buh was confronted by a Series of guard, I defeated them with ease as I looked up and saw five guards trying to seal the gate as fast as they could.

I leaped towards them buh was confronted by Kai we fought fiercely for a few minutes as I smirked, he's the only one that can hold a fight against me, I said to myself as I sent a blow to his chest which made him fly across the hallway.

I turned and leaped towards the guards that just succeeded in sealing the gate, I knocked them over as I came in contact with the lever, I began to twist it open the lever has chains connected to the gate made of titanium which made it very hard to twist, it takes five vamps to open and I haven't been able to open it but today I don't know how I was able to twist it with ease, opening the gate I ran out into the city.

I need a distraction to get my mind off her, I thought as I ran through the city.

I spotted a lady sitting close to a spring as she stared at the sky, I smirked as I approached her, her scent lingering in my nostril as I walked closer it got stronger clouding my thoughts as I got to where she was.

I bent as I trailed my fingers on her neck as she jolted, she turned her gaze to me locking eyes with mine, I could hear her heart beating rapidly she was scared, I said to myself. Fear was evident in her eyes, I couldn't help buh smirk. I love it when they panic there's another level of pleasure I get from their fears, stood up as I withdrew from her.

My eyes darkened as my fangs elongated and I revealed my sharp claws, this made her terrified as she stood up running and screaming for help buh couldn't be heard as I watched how far she could go, she continued running and screaming and just when she thought she's escaped I appeared in front of her, she cried out in fear as a smirk found it's way to my lips, my demon was enjoying this.

Enough fun now I said to myself as I buried my fangs in her neck, her scent covered my nose, she begged. Please let me go she said in tears buh I ignored her and continued, then I pulled out my fangs and looked at her, she looked so weak, please she said just above a whisper I smirked as I buried my fangs back in her neck and sucked her dried.

I let her lifeless body roll to the ground as I sensed Kai's presence, I turned around and he was staring at me in amusement, I smirked and took off.

Kai was following me, he was fast buh not fast enough to catch up with me and in less than no time I lost him buh to my surprise there he was standing in front of me.

I sighed in frustration, what did expect? Even though Kai isn't' as fast as me he's good at using his brains so I wasn't surprised that he caught up with me. I stared at me in the eyes and said your father the king has summoned you to the royal court, I sighed in surrender as we both retired to the palace. My demon was now calm as I walked into the court room, what does the king want with me? I didn't cause chaos this time, I thought to myself. The last time I went on a killing spree in the city it almost exposed us and I was punished severely by the king, I underwent series of torture that no vampire can resist as the injuries inflicted on me took a longer period of time to heal . I hissed as the memories of that day flashed through my mind.
