Chapter 2 No.2

"You aren't my type, so don't raise your hopes high." He whispered into her ear, and Ava felt a wave of sweat rush into her.

"What do you mean?" She raised her brow, and Noah moved away from her.

"I know I'm too handsome, "he snickered.

"You aren't my type either, Ava snapped, making Noah chuckle dryly.

"Really? But you were drooling at your stepbrother, "he said with sarcasm.

"I wasn't, "she snapped at him.

"See you later, kiddo, Noah said, walking away without looking back.

Ava scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"Who does he think he is? Was I really drooling at him?" She thought.

"Fuck," she groaned, falling on the bed.

~NEXT MORNING ~

Rachel was setting the dining when Noah came down looking breathtaking as usual.

His hair was scattered, making him look cute.

"Good morning, "Rachel greeted.

"Where's Dad?" Noah asked instead, ignoring her greeting.

"He's coming, "Rachel replied sadly.

Noah sat down, picking up the cutlery to eat when he heard his dad's voice.

"What are you doing?" James asked, and Noah sighed, dropping the cutlery.

"As you can see, I'm about to eat," he replied flatly.

"Go and call your sister, "James said, sitting, and Rachel sat beside him.

"Why? Noah questioned.

"Stop questioning me," James warned.

"I'd go and call her." Rachel stood up, and James made her sit back.

Just then, Ava walked in slowly to them.

Noah rolled his eyes when he saw her.

"Darling, you can have your seat, James gestured to Ava, making Noah scoff inwardly.

"I'm out of here," he said, standing up.

"Why? Don't you like it?" Rachel asked worriedly.

"I lost my appetite, "Noah replied, walking away.

Ava bit her lips, feeling sad. "Why do her sights irritate him? "

"Eat up; don't worry about him; he'd be fine," James said, smiling at her.

"Whatever, he can go to hell," she thought, picking up the cutlery.

"Mmmm, she moaned, inhaling the food.

What's wrong? You've been acting weird since Reed asked about looking at Noah.

"It's nothing," Noah snapped.

"I know something is definitely wrong; talk to me," Reed persuaded.

"I have a stepsister now, Noah said with sarcasm.

"Step sis?" Reed frown.

"Yeah," Noah nodded, and Reed smiled.

"You should be happy then is she cute? Can I have her number?" Reed ask.

"Cute my foot" he mumbled.

"Can I fuck her?" Reed ask again.

"I don't care about her you're free to do anything with her " Noah replied.

Sophia crossed her arm while looking at both of them.

"Isn't that your bitch?" Reed whispered to Noah.

He turned back and he saw her.

Sophia walked closer to them,her ass shaking in her tight gown.

"You said you'd"...

Noah cut her off,kissing her hungrily.

"Mmm"she moaned into his mouth. He broke the kiss,spanking her ass.

"Should we do it here" she asked like a moan Ignoring Reed who was looking at them disgustingly.

"Am sorry about the way he behaved towards you earlier "James pleaded and Ava smiled.

"It's nothing, sir," Ava replied.

"Why can't you call me dad? I'd love to hear that from you " James said.

"Ohhh"Ava mouthed.

"It's fine if you don't want to" James said.

"I'd try my best "Ava assured him and James smiled at her.

"I and your mom spoke about your school and I have bought the form for you" he said.

"Really?" Ava beamed.

"Everything have been settled and you are starting tomorrow".

"Thank you si..dad" She corrected.

"It's nothing; you'll be following your brother to school every day because he's in his second year," James said, and Ava smiled lightly.

"Alright" she mumbled silently.

"Aren't you happy about it?" James ask worriedly.

"Of course am happy" she fake a smile.

Noah groaned looking at his wrist watch while waiting patiently for Ava. His phone rang,and he saw Sophia on the screen.

He rolled his eyes before answering.

"Where are you? you are keeping me waiting?" She yelled from the other end of the phone.

"You'll see me soon" he replied ending the call.

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting," Ava begged, entering the car.

Noah stared at her for a minute without saying a word.

"What?" Ava ask feeling uncomfortable.

Noah ignored her, igniting the car back to life.

Who won't be lost staring at her when she is putting on a crop top, revealing her tiny waist with a short floral skirt?

Ava took her phone out, scrolling through her music list, playing her favourite song, "Perfection", by Ed Sheeran.

She close her eyes,flowing along with the song.

Noah looked at her, and his eyes met with her kissable pink lips. He licks his lip as a weird thought comes to his mind.

He shook his head, brushing the thought off.

Noah drove into the school park, and all eyes turned toward the direction, trying to take a good view of him.

"Get your ass down," Noah snapped at Ava, who was asleep.

"Such a sleepyhead," he chuckled, tapping her gently, and she pouted her lips, making Noah frown.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes, and she gasped.

"Where are we?" She asks.

" you are too dumb for fuck sake " Noah rolled his eyes.

"Hey, yo, mind the words you use for me." Ava glared at him.

Noah smiled at her before stepping out of the car.

Ava stepped out, and all eyes widened.

"Who's she?"

"Is she his new side chick?"

"Why'd she come out of his car?"

Different comments begin to fly among the onlookers.

Ava looked at all the students feeling nervous.

"You should go that way, and when you are done with lectures, come and wait for me here," he said, walking away without sparing them a glance.

Ava stood for some minutes, not knowing which way to go.

"Hi," someone said behind her.

"Hello," she replied with a smile.

"You are a fresher, right?" The girl asked, and Ava nodded her head.

"Am Paige, by the way. What about you?"

"Ava", she replied.

"Who's he to you?" Paige asks curiously.

"Who?" Ava feigned innocence.

"Noah, I heard he's good at fucking," Paige said, and Ava stared at her strangely.

"I don't understand you," she said.

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me; can we be friends?" Paige asks, ignoring her question.
