Chapter 3 THREE

BETA GIDEON QUARTERS**

Sienna slowly walked through Beta Gideon Quarters, holding a tray of meats, freshly baked bread,vegetables with roasted rabbit and salmon.

She carefully balanced the tray in her hand as she approached Beta Gideon's private chambers.

Sienna walked in staring around and wolf senses told her that Beta Gideon was currently having his bath.

The sound of running water and the faint scent of soap and shampoo filled her nostrils.

She carefully placed the tray of food on the bedside table, careful not to make any sound but she knew that he could Sense and smell that someone was in his chambers.

Sienna was about to quickly leave but his deep voice stopped her.

"Sienna?"

She froze, surprised that he still remembered her name.

She turned around slowly and then bowed respectfully.

"Beta Gideon,I apologize for walking in unannounced. I brought your meal."

Gideon dismissed the maids who had bathed him with a wave of his hand.

In Moon Haven Kingdom,The Beta_Gideon was also very respected, Just like the Alpha King but the Alpha King was the most respected.

But when the beta gives an order, Everyone obeys knowing that he's the second in command.

"You all may leave"

The maids bowed and quickly walked out of the room, closing the door behind them.

Gideon turned his attention back to Sienna, who was still bowing.

"Rise, Sienna"He said softly. "Why are you the one bringing my meal? You're the Luna's personal maid"

"The head maid sent me to bring your meal since the one that usually brings yours is currently sick and I wasn't busy so I brought it instead"She explained and he hummed in response.

"How's the Luna faring now? She wasn't really in a good mood earlier"

"She's unhappy and upset about his majesty choice,I had never seen her so upset before"Sienna responded,though she wasn't bowing but her eyes were down.

"I understand how she feels about all this but it's to secure the throne, She should understand too"

Sienna nodded,not knowing what to say anymore.

"Ahem, I should take my leave. Enjoy your meal Beta Gideon"She bowed again, about to walk out again but she stopped when he spoke again.

"Your anklets are beautiful, Sienna, I like them," Beta Gideon said, his eyes staring down at her ankles.

"They look even more beautiful on your ankles."

Sienna's cheeks flushed with a deep blush. She didn't even expect him to complement her.

"Thank you"

She smiled widely and quickly walked out of his chambers.

AT THE CASTLE**

Rachel devoured the food on her plate like a starved animal.

It had been so long since she had ate such a delicious meal and she continued eating in a rush like they were going to come take the food away from her.

She was so focused on eating like a wild animal that she didn't even notice a maid walk in staring at her in disgust mainly because she was an Omega.

The maid cleared her throat and Rachel looked up with wide eyes.

"Yes?" she asked, her mouth still full of food.

"The Healer is on her way"The maid said in a cold tone but Rachel was too busy eating to notice.

"Please, accompany me."

Rachel's eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly swallowed her food and wiped her mouth with a napkin.

She took two baked bread and roasted meat on her plate and continued eating hungrily while she followed the maid.

Rachel continued walking behind the maid while eating.

She was so busy eating the large meat in her hands that she didn't notice that they were already there and now standing in front of the Luna.

Aurelia's face were filled with disgust as she looked at Rachel.

"Look at you, Omega"She said coldly.

Rachel froze for a moment and then looked up at Aurelia with her mouth still full.

"Eating like a filthy, starving wretch that you are,You eat like a pig"

Rachel felt ashamed and hurt by her words but she stayed silent, swallowing her food immediately.

"Your appearance is no better"Aurelia continued, staring at her from head to toe.

Rachel's eyes welled up in tears,she felt like she was shrinking, like she wanted disappear.

"And why the hell are you still staring at me like that? Bow down your head and greet your Luna"

Rachel immediately bowed her head, staring down at her feet.

"Better"Aurelia scowled, taking a seat elegantly on the bed. "Take off your clothes"

Rachel lifted up her eyes in shock and quickly bowed again when Aurelia glared at her.

"Take it off now or I won't hesitate to ask my maids to strip you off your clothes"

Rachel stared at her for a moment, She was scared of getting punished by the Alpha for disobeying his Luna.

With glossy eyes,She slowly removed her dress, letting it fall to the ground.

Rachel's eyes were fixed on the floor and Aurelia's eyes roamed her body,

The Healer stared at Rachel's naked form, but she said nothing instead, she walked over to Rachel and began to examine her but still Rachel never spoke a word.

She was already starting to regret why she accepted to do all this.

"Is she healthy enough to carry a child?" Aurelia asked, staring at the healer.

The Healer nodded, her eyes scanning Rachel's abdomen and she touched it Gently.

Rachel had no idea what was going on,The healer was just touching her anyhow.

"Yes, Luna. The Omega appears to be in good health, despite her... rough appearance. She should be able to carry a child."

"And is she fertile?"Aurelia asked, frowning.

The Healer checked Rachel's temperature and examined her cervix.

"Yes, Luna. The Omega is currently in her fertile window. She's ovulating"

Aurelia frowned. But she nodded and the healer continued examining Rachel.

Still, Rachel said nothing. She didn't even utter a word throughout the whole examination.

Princess Lunaria carefully walked through the castle's dark corridors with her heart racing against her chest.

She was scared of getting caught sneaking out of the castle,Kieran would be so mad at her and probably would never let her out again for a day or two.

As the sister of the Alpha King, Lunaria was never allowed to leave the castle without numerous guards following her especially at night.

But tonight she wanted to run in her wolf form at the forest,It had been so long.

She wore a simple, sleeveless tunic made of linen, paired with fitted leggings.

It was a trick she had learned from one of the castle's older servants. She hoped it would be enough to mask her scent.

Lunaria was about to get into the secret tunnel that would lead her out of the castle when a familiar scent filled her nostrils.

Her eyes widened and she turned around.

"Beta Gideon"She muttered, looking like a kid that had been caught stealing candies.

Beta Gideon stood in front of her with folded arms while he stared at her in amusement.

"Sneaking out again?"He raised his brows.

She sighed. "Are you going to tell Kieran?"

Beta Gideon still continued to stare at her and he shrugged.

"It depends on how fast you return back to the castle, You know I can't lie to your brother"

Her eyes lit up and she jumped on him in happiness hugging him tightly.

"Thank you so much, I'll be back soon. I promise"She kissed his cheeks and his eyes widened.

She blushed and immediately moved away from him.

"Uh... I'm sorry about that"She chuckled awkwardly and he smiled before sniffing her.

She gulped nervously.

"You smell weirdly different...."He sniffed her again and his eyes went wide when he realized why she smelled like that.

"You....Christ, You masked your scent! What if something happens and...."

FOREST**

Lunaria began to shift into her wolf form, her body started to change, her limbs shortening.

Her skin turned to beautiful faws within seconds, she stood on four paws, her sleek silver looking very beautiful.

Her wolfed howled and took off running so fast in the forest.

And then suddenly,Her ears perked up, her heart skipped a beat as she caught the unmistakable scent of a vampire.

She stopped running abruptly, She could feel the presence of the vampire and the scent was so strong.

She followed the scent slowly out of curiosity and then she shifted back to her human form when she saw a figure laying lifelessly on the forest ground.

A handsome male vampire with chiseled features and his pale skin glowing in the moonlight.

Lunaria's heart jumped wildly in her chest as stated at him. She blinked approaching him slowly while naked.

And then there were the rare herbs and plants, like garlic and wolf's bane, that could repel and weaken them.

But what happened to him?

The vampire's chest rose and fell with shallow breaths and she knew that he was still alive.

Her eyes went to his neck, where she could see the faint pulsing of his vein and she swallowed hard again.

Kieran would definitely kill her for doing this since werewolf and vampires were enemies.

She leaned in closer and tapped the vampire Gently.

She knelt back down beside the vampire forgetting that she was bare,her eyes staring at his pale face.

With a deep breath, Lunaria used the sharp branch to cut her wrist and she winced slightly at the pain.

The cut would heal quickly so she wasn't even bothered.

Blood began to flow from the wound and she carefully positioned her wrist over the vampire's lips, allowing her blood to drip into his mouth.

The blood slowly dropped on his lips and her breath hitched when the vampire's lips parted, revealing his fangs.

His mouth opened wider collecting her blood but his eyes were still closed, and she wondered if he was already dead or her blood wasn't enough.

She grabbed the branch again and digged it deeper into the wound in her skin and more blood gushed out dropping into his mouth.
