Chapter 2 TWO

Rachel's heart was racing as she stood confused in front of everyone, her mind was struggling to understand what was happening.

Why did he choose her? And what was he choosing her for? What did he want from her?

Rachel was confused and scared, He was a ruthless being from what she had heard about him,He was cunning and wicked.

What would be her fate now?

"Everyone, Leave us. Now" Kieran commanded, his deep voice filled the throne room.

Rachel felt a shiver run down her spine at his voice. His voice was enticing,

It made the hairs on her neck stand and her wolf purred within her.

The guards, elders,Omegas and other people bowed and began walking out of the throne room.

Aurelia still refused to move an inch, She was sneering at Rachel and she shivered in fear.

"Aurelia, do not make me repeat myself."

Aurelia scowled but she knew better than to defy the Alpha King so she rose from her Queen seat and stormed out.

"You" Kieran said lowly. "Come here."

Rachel's heart skipped a beat, She still couldn't look at him.

She took a step forward, then another, until she stood before the Alpha King, her heart pounding in her chest.

"You're different...."Kieran murmured, his fingers reaching out to capture a strand of her hair and Rachel breath seized.

He twirled it around his fingers as he inhaled her scent while his wolf purred more loving her sweet scent.

"Your scent is alluring.... You bring my wolf down to his knees and Your presence distracts me,It's as if you've cast a spell on me"His dark eyes roamed her face and she gulped unable to speak.

"Are you a witch sent to bewitch me Omega?"

Rachel's eyes widened and she immediately bowed her head in fear.

"N-no, Your Highness, I-I'm not a witch."

That was indeed true. Kieran would have known if she was a witch, and if she was, he wouldn't even think of killing her, because the tiny, lean Omega intrigued him.

There was just something about her that he couldn't explain.

Kieran chuckled and she blinked looking up at him in surprise but when their eyes met, She got startled and immediately looked down at her feet.

"You always look down at your feet," Kieran observed,his voice filled with amusement.

"Are you afraid of me?"

𝙔𝙚𝙨,𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪. She only said that In her mind,Too scared to say that straight to his face.

"W..why am I here? What did you choose me for? Do you want to have my head..?"

"I would never do that to you"He said softly and her heart skipped a beat.

"I want you to bear my child,I want you to be the Mother of my heir"He continued.

Rachel's eyes widened in shock at the Alpha king words.

Bear him a child? But he already had a Luna. She was just a mere Omega, a low-ranking wolf in the pack. Why her?

No, she couldn't do it. Bearing him a child meant she'd be warming his bed, becoming his mistress. She would never do that.

Why would he ask that of her?

"I... I'm sorry, Your Highness, but I... I can't," she stammered, her eyes facing down again.

"Please, look for someone else... anyone else would be more suitable for this honor."

Kieran continued staring at her until he spoke up again.

"In return, I'd give you anything you ask for"

Rachel's eyes widened again in surprise.

Anything she asked for?

"Name your price. Riches, power, protection... anything you desire, it's yours. Just bear me an heir."

Rachel still couldn't respond, She was to shocked to speak. At least he wasn't forcing her but offering to give her anything she wanted and all she wanted was to be free, She wanted to pay her family's dept and get away from this pack.

"My parents they passed away, leaving me with their debt to the pack. A lot of debt. If I bear your heir, will you... will you pay off their debt?"

Kieran nodded. Anything for his little Omega.

"I will pay off your family's debt in full," he said. "But that's not all you want, is it?"

Rachel shook her head. "No, it's not. I also want... I want my freedom. I want to be able to leave this kingdom and start a new life, free from the pack's obligations."

Kieran's expression darkened, his wolf didn't like the idea of Rachel leaving,The thought of her leaving was unbearable.

"You want to leave my kingdom?" he repeated, growling and she swallowed hard, her heart racing with fear.

She didn't expect him to react that way.

"I... I'm not accepted here," she stammered. "Nobody likes me because I'm an Omega. They treat us Omegas like... like we're nothing."Her eyes welled up in tears.

Kieran's wolf wanted to snap out, to rip apart those who had caused Rachel such pain.

"Will you really to do all that I asked for when I agree to bear you an heir?"

"You have my word"He said lowly in his dominant tone and she nodded.

"I accept"She responded quietly.

"Very well. A maid will escort you to your new quarters. See that you get clean, drink and eat... Our healers will also examine you to ensure you're suitable for bearing an heir. If all goes well, I will summon you to my quarters tonight."

Rachel gulped nervously.

"Yes, Your Highness" she replied softly.

Kieran took a step closer,his hands tracing the curve of her cheeks and tingles spread across her skin.

"Have you ever been with a male before?"

He already knew the answer, but he wanted to hear her say it.

Her innocence was visible, a sweet scent that only a wolf like him could detect.

He could smell the purity of her body, Her Untouched body.

His wolf stirred, eager to claim her, to mark her as his own but that was impossible.

He was already mated to Aurelia,His Luna.

Rachel's eyes widened and she blushed.

"N-no, Your Highness," she stuttered.

"I see"He murmured, acting like he didn't know already and took strand of her hair again. "Then I will be your first."

Her face burned more and she nodded slowly.

"Y-yes," she whispered.

His eyes darkened more and he took a step back.

In seconds,A maid suddenly appeared and bowed her head down respectfully.

"Follow me, please," she said, gesturing for Rachel to follow her.

Rachel nodded, taking one last glance at Kieran before turning to follow the maid.

"𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙩? 𝙒𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙙. 𝙃𝙚'𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚"

Rachel almost rolled her eyes at her wolf's words but she couldn't deny the fact that her wolf was stating the truth.

He wasn't just good-looking but he was Also Dominant that she felt like submitting to him. His voice...His scent...His touch and the way he was looking at her sets her body on fire.

Sienna swallowed hard as she served Aurelia a glass of water, She took it from her and gripped it hard as her mind replayed what happened at the throne room.

Her mate was looking at another shewolf...An Omega! An ugly weak one at that and the way he was staring at that dirty Omega refused to leave her head.

He had never looked at her that way before.

The glass shattered in Aurelia's hands and Sienna gasped in shock.

"My queen, perhaps you should sit down and calm yourself."

"You saw it, didn't you? You saw the way he looked at her."

Sienna nodded, her eyes wide with fear. "Y-yes, my queen."

"He's never looked at me like that. Never. And now, he's going to get an heir with... with that... thing?"

Aurelia slammed her fist against the table making Sienna jump.

"I can't let this happen"Aurelia stood up, heading towards the door.

"I can't let him shame me like this."

"M-my queen, perhaps we should-"

"No"Aurelia growled, Her Eyes glowing.

"I will never let that Omega bear the Alpha King's heir. I am the Luna,The most beautiful and strongest. The Alpha king is my mate and only I will bear his pups. Nobody Else"
