Chapter 1 Just the Beginning

Jasmine's POV

"Now, do not think about what people will say, come on..." I muttered to myself of course.

I sat before the mirror staring at my reflection, the red lipstick still on my hand as I contemplated rubbing it on my lips or just going natural. Today is the best day of my life, not only will my boyfriend become the Alpha of this great pack, he would publicly be announcing me as his mate and Luna. What more can I ask for?

A low class omega ranking up to become the Alpha's Luna, it has never been heard in the history of Thorne's Pack but all thanks to the moon goddess and to my sweet boyfriend Kieran who loves me with everything in him.

A smile crept into my face as I finally applied the lipstick and looked at my reflection. Soon, I'll be the talk of the pack, I won't be treated like a slave anymore, I won't be looked down on anymore. I'll be able to help Elara get that job that she really wanted instead of working in a bar.

Sigh...

With a wide smile, I stood up and gave myself one final look before walking out of the house. I can't seem to find Elana anywhere, who knows if she had gone to the pack bar again. I told her today was Kieran's coronation and even though she didn't like him that much, she still needed to be there. The whole pack was. We were supposed to go to the pack house together.

As I made my way to the pack house, I noticed how busy everyone was. They all wanted to be done with work before the time of the coronation because everyone has to be there. I had left home extremely early today so I could be done on time. I need to be there earlier than everyone definitely, my boyfriend was the one getting crowned Alpha.

The pack house was busy but I found a way to sneaked in without being caught. I've done it so many times to meet up with my love, Kieran. The door cracked open and I peeped to see if anyone else was inside his room. I slipped into the room quietly when I didn't find anyone in there.

"Jasmine?" I heard the most heavenly voice call for me from behind. Before I could turn, he wrapped his hands around my waist and kissed the nape of my neck.

"What are you doing here?" his hot breathing fanning my neck. I sucked in breaths before turning to him,

"I came to wish you good luck" I replied as I stared at him from top to bottom. He was dressed in a brown gorgeous outfit, his hair neatly combed and I cannot be more drawn to him. He has the most amazing looks that any girl would die for.

"Wow, Jasmine, is that paint on your lips?" he asked, his eyes twinkling and I blushed turning my face to the other side.

Of course...

"You look different," he said to me as he took my hands

"And you look dashing" I smiled at him. He grinned, both of his hands held mine as he looked me in the eyes, those eyes that I couldn't help but be drawn to. And as always, I didn't know how our lips met and then a deep kiss.

My hand held onto his jacket while his hands wrapped around my lower back as he kissed me like it was our first. And just like our first, it was too beautiful to pull away from until we heard someone call,

"Kieran?"

His mom!

We broke the kiss immediately, I didn't need to be told to hide even though he was going to announce me as Luna few minutes from now, I still needed to remain hidden until that time. I hid inside his wardrobe as I watched his mother come in.

"You look good. Ready?" she asked and Kieran nodded as he wiped his lips. The red paint had stained his lips, and I was sure the Luna noticed it but didn't say a word about it. After they left, I came out of the wardrobe and released breaths I didn't know I've been holding for a while.

"Time to go for the coronation of my man" I grinned and sneaked out of his room to the crowd that was outside waiting for Kieran to be crowned Alpha. His father spoke for a while how he wanted his son to take over early so he can be there to watch the performance of his son and many other things.

Finally, the crown was placed on Kieran's head as he was declared Alpha. Everyone celebrated and cheered. We all bowed to the new Alpha and those who had gifts went to drop their gifts, I had a gift for him too but I thought to give it to him later. A beautiful necklace made specially by me for him with the word LOVE written on it.

"Alpha Kieran, it is time to pick your Luna. Remember, your Luna has to be a strong, beautiful and clever woman. I trust the Alpha to make the right choice just as his father did" the elder who was performing the ceremony stated.

I saw how Kieran looked at his mom with love in his eyes and I couldn't be more pleased that the Luna had been a perfect example for him. This is my time.

I made my way out of the crowd a little so Kieran could see me, I had a wide smile on my face with unshed tears in my eyes because this is just magical and beautiful. I can't wait for the world to finally know about us. No more hiding, no more sneaking in and out.

"Go on, son" Luna Greer urge Kieran.

"My Luna is no other person but..."

I stepped even closer so he could see me but the name that came out of his mouth cause me to freeze

"Elara"
