Chapter 4 Fated Mate

Alpha Leonardo leaned forward in me. His eyes were still fixed on my breast like a pervert that he was. "Let go of me this instant," I struggled with him, but he sinisterly smiled.

"You don't make the rules, I do," he coldly whispered, fixing his face on my neck. I felt the warm breath from his nose as he brushed it on my neck.

His face ran back to mine, locking his gaze with mine. I gulp down the lump in my throat. He was undeniably very handsome, and I wasn't sure if any lady would be able to resist him. My eyes slightly moved toward his lips, and I couldn't help but admire how fresh and a little reddish they were. And for a moment, I forgot who he was.

He brought his lips closer to mine, which made my heart race. I noticed the hardness of his cock as his body pressed into mine, gently he brushed it on my abdomen. A little moan escaped his lips.

A sharp pain in my neck sent my palm holding my neck. The pain became severe, causing me to rush to the dressing mirror to take a look at my neck. My hand pulled away but noticed blood on my palm. I looked at the reflection of my neck in the mirror, and my body froze.

A chill ran through my spine, as the realization of what happened hit me. Alpha Leonardo fucking marked me as his mate. What was wrong with this beast? How dare this stupid beast? Why?...

My lips quivered in anger, and my fits grabbed my hair as I screamed my lungs out. My body landed on the floor. I broke down in tears. My world had finally ended. How would I face Caleb with the mark of another man on my neck? I wept bitterly.

And there was no fucking way I could take this off. Oh, Goddess, why are you tasting me this way? I never fucking signed up to be one of your strongest warriors.

I cried for days without eating any food being given to me. And I also haven't set my eyes on Alpha Leonardo. I didn't know how many days or weeks had passed. But then, the next day came, and I finally decided to eat something just to survive for my loved ones; Mother, Father, and Caleb.

I knew when I survived this hell after a year, I would apologize to Caleb.

I stayed for more weeks but still didn't set my eyes on Alpha Leonardo. The only people who came into my room were the servants providing me with food and clothes, or any other things needed.

I had asked a few of them about Alpha Leonardo and their response was, "We are ordered not to say a word about the Alpha."

I mostly giggled at their words because I didn't care about their precious Alpha either. He should go to hell for all I care.

Picking up one nice outfit, and dressing myself in it, I danced around the room, humming a song. That's what I always did to entertain myself. I couldn't let boredom take away my young innocent life.

"Happy birthday, Eira," a tiny voice called out.

The dancing of my body came to a halt, my sight scanned through every corner of the room. "Who is it?" I muttered.

"It's me, your Wolf."

"Oh!! My!!" my hand held my chest as I gasped in astonishment, my eyes widened in surprise. "Wolf? How was it possible? It's not yet my 18th birthday."

"It is, Eira. You are 18th today."

My hands flew to my mouth, cupping it. Excitement filled my heart. "Welcome my wolf. What should I call you? Can I see what you look like? Please," my body fluttered with joy.

"It will be painful for you if I try to reveal myself because this is your first shift, and you have to be ready."

"Yes, I am," I responded eagerly, standing at a spot with my eyes squeezed.

"Are you sure, Eira?"

"Yes. Yes. Yes. I've never been so sure in my life."

"Alright. Hold still," she ordered.

My throat dragged, swallowing hard as I stiffened in a position. And then I felt it happening, my body contorted and twisted in ways that seemed impossible. My skin itched and burned as white fur busted forth covering my arms and legs. My hands curled into claws, and I felt a strange, primal power coursing through my veins as my Wolf arrived,

She was huge, white, with blue eyes. I had never seen an omega wolf looking this way, not even any other Wolf. That was confusing but I loved her already. "You are beautiful, Wolf," I muttered with tears filling my eyes.

"You can call me Elisa."

"Hi, Elisa," my tears gushed down my cheeks.

"I know I look different from every other wolf, but we are one of our kind, Eira. The Moon Goddess blessed us with a unique gift. Such which no one in this century has," she softly said.

"What gift do you mean?" The confusion I felt was laced in my voice.

"Healing, Eira. We have the gift of healing," my wolf's voice was calm and charming. Very different from mine.

I didn't understand what she meant by healing, and what we were meant to do with it, but I was excited she was here.

Just then a sweet whiff of scent like fine wood and earth caught my nose. It was the most powerful and protective scent that had ever welcomed my nose.

"Our mate is here," Elisa voiced out, and a little fear gripped me.

"Mate? In the home of a beast?" I couldn't help but question. This was crazy and I believe the Goddess must be on something to fix my Mate in this household.

"Don't fight it, Eira. The Goddess has her ways and we can't question her. Get ready and let's go see our mate," Elisa was indeed too fragile for a rascal like me.

I turned into my human form, threw a nice dress on, and dashed out of this room for the first time.

Following the scent, it led me to a large courtroom in the mansion, and there he was- Alpha Leonardo. He stood with a tall handsome strange man, almost the same height and body build as him. But it seemed they were in a heated argument. I could tell they were not best of friends.

Slowly, my feet moved closer to them, and unexpectedly Elisa screamed the word "MATE," out of my lips when my gaze fell on the handsome man.

The strange man was my fated mate.

I saw the happiness in my mate's eyes as he turned to look at me. He recognized me as his. The emotions I felt were very strong, and for the first time, I understood how powerful the mate bond was.

My mate made to walk toward me, when Alpha Leonardo rushed forward, grabbed my wrist. Alpha Leonardo without saying a word pulled me back to his bedroom. He opened the door and shoved me right in.

Slamming the door shut behind us in anger.

I snatched my wrist from his hold. "What do you think you are doing, stopping me from meeting my mate?"

"Mate? Did I bring you here to meet your stupid mate?" Pointing a finger at me, "Hey, listen Pet. My illegitimate brother can not be your mate," he screeched.

"He is my mate, please let me go meet him Alpha," my eyes watered. Someone also as powerful as Alpha Leonardo was my mate. This was a great opportunity for me to run away from this beast, and I was fucking not going to waste my opportunity.

"You can't be with him," he roared.

"That is not possible, Alpha. He and I are bound to be together."

Alpha Leonardo maliciously sneered, his brows furrowed in anger. And he mockingly chuckled, "We have a deal, and as long as the deal stands, no man is allowed to come into your life. Seems your little brain has forgotten about your father," he reminded me of my misery, and my body fell in weakness.

His words had defeated me.

The beast pointed his finger in the direction of his door, "Now go out there and reject him. It's an order from your Alpha."
