Chapter 3 My woes

Alpha Leonardo;

My fist slammed my table and punched my wall. I roared as the pain became very intense. My hands gripped my shirt, destroying it from my body. Veins popped out of me causing the pain to pierce through me even more. My Wolf whimpered in pain as we both cried.

A sudden weakness hit my legs, sending me crashing to the ground. And my hands belted my body, holding it tightly. Trying to stop it from quivering.

After a few minutes of fighting, tearing, and injuring myself, the pain finally subsided. My wounds healed. I stood up from the cold floor, wiping the tears from my cheeks as my Wolf, Red, lay low, breathing lifelessly.

This was me every night. A part of me no one knew or had seen, aside from my late parents. My Wolf had a disease that was killing us slowly, and we were dying everyday that passed by.

My wolf, Red, was weak and dying. And if nothing was done, he might vanish someday and I would be without a wolf. A wolfless Alpha.

This would also make me very useless, and I would be stripped of my position. The one thing my illegitimate brother, Vorgath, has been waiting for.

This was my own cross. Maybe it was a punishment from the Moon Goddess for my ruthlessness. But I couldn't change that part of me. I was a born Mafia and cruelness flowed in my veins like a river. I'd rather die than change this part of me. Brutality was my shield, and I was fucking holding it with all my might.

"Will you be ok, Red?" I reached out to my boy.

"Yes, Leo. I just need a little rest."

I walked toward my wardrobe, ransacking it to look for my favorite white shirt. I loved picking my outfits from the wardrobe in my secret room because it had better clothes than the ones in my bedroom.

Throwing my shirt on my perfect body, arranging my short dark curly hair in front of the mirror, a big smile flashed on my face in admiration of how handsome I looked. "What do you think Red, about our new pet?"

"I don't know, I'm indifferent. Why did you bring her here instead of searching for our mate," Red lashed out. This was how rude Red sounded whenever he recovered from the pain we always felt.

"Alright. I just confirmed you are perfecting fine," I responded, reaching out for my perfume, and spraying it all over my body.

"You will choke us to death some day," Red roared.

Red was allergic to smelling nice, and that was one thing I was damn ready to force on him. No Wolf of mine would be smelling like an abandoned dog.

I stepped out of my secret room to my bedroom. Pushing my door open, my eyes found my pet. She jerked in shock when her eyes met mine. It's evident she had been crying. With her puffy eyes, she still looked somewhat beautiful.

Shaking my head in disappointment as I ambled toward her. "I thought you were brave? It's too soon to start shedding tears. That will be boring."

She rushed toward me, her palm landed on my cheek with a thud. "You bastard, what did you fucking do to my father?" She roared.

I was frozen in shock. I couldn't believe the nerves of this low-life she-wolf. She had the guts to slap me. My face was burning with anger, my blood pressure rising, my heart racing with ways I could make her pay for her actions.

I felt my hand twitching, itching to grab her throat and show her what it meant to cross Alpha Leonardo. My face contorted into a scowl, "How dare you?" I bellowed, grabbing her neck and clutching it hard. I pushed her to the wall and pinned her on the spot.

She tapped my hands, signaling me to stop. I knew I was choking her to my satisfaction, by the redness of her face and how she was struggling to breathe.

"Let go of her, Leo. She is almost dying," Red roared at me and I let go of her.

She fell to the floor, holding her neck, coughing hard.

My anger increased causing my heart to pound even faster, as the scene of her slapping my handsome face played repeatedly in my head. "You dare to raise your filthy hand on me," I stormed toward her but she fainted. She fucking fainted. How weak could she be? I roared in frustration.

The reason I had chosen her as a pet was because she acted bravely - defending her father. She was the only one who had dared to challenge me. I wanted to see more of her braveness. But what was this? She has the audacity to collapse before the main action begins.

My feet paced back and forth, as I waited for her to get up. I wasn't even done teaching her a lesson for hitting a Mafia Lord. But she was still lying cold on the floor and didn't budge for a bit.

I sprinted toward her, and halted over her, kicking her body softly, "Hey,... Pet!... I order you to wake up. This is not the time for games."

"Can't you see she is unconscious, you idiot?" Red responded when I wasn't even talking to him. I don't understand why this damn Wolf always sounded like he was my father.

"Pet!" I called out to her again. I didn't even know her name and I didn't think there was a need for it.

Seeing that she was unresponsive, I rushed into my bathroom, fetched a bucket of water, and splashed it on her. But she still didn't budge. I surged into my bathroom once again and fetched another bucket of water to splash on her, when her body finally winced on the floor.

She stood up, completely drenched, her clothes dripping water. I saw the shock on her face when she noticed how soaked she was. "What the fuck is wrong with this nutcase?" She retorted.

The bucket in my hand dropped, water splashed on my floor. "What? Nutcase? Did you just call your Alpha a nutcase?" Her words sounded funny to my ears and I whiffed in amusement. She was the first woman to address me as such. Trust me, she was very unbelievable.

My lips twirled to the side, my forehead furrowed as I slowly moved toward her.

She made to flee but I grabbed her arm in an instant, sending her back to the wall, clasping her arms high.

My eyes ran through her face and down to her body. My gaze noticed she was without a bra, her pink nipples pointing at me.

That was the most beautiful I had seen. I couldn't help but stare at them, desires flowing through my veins.

And just then, Red roared in my head, "Have her Leo. I want to get the feel of her."
