Chapter 4 A BREATHE OF RELIEF

Make this one friendly as always, and I trust you will do so.

"Mom, when is Dad going to be discharged? Any information from the doctor about that?" Ayla looked at her mom and anticipated that they would be moving back home with their father.

Just as though Ayla was speaking, there was a knock on the door.

"Sis, please help open the door. I am on the project," Jayson said to Ayla, looking forward to how fast she could do that.

It didn't take up to five seconds for Jayson to say this. Ayla stood up and opened the door, removing the hospital trolley behind the door.

"I want to see Mrs. Morrison," a voice from outside the door." Ayla looked at her in a surprised way.

"Please come in," letting her in and controlling the trolley in a different direction.

All attention was all on the nurse.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Morrison; the doctor wants to see you urgently," she said as she immediately took her to leave.

This left the whole room a rest.

"Mom, what could that be? Does that mean anything is wrong"? Ayla tried to put on her slippers and moved toward Mrs. Morrison.

Mrs. Morrison smiled in a titled way, "No, you and follow me; just let me go and give feedback on what may be happening over there.

Jayson managed to pay attention to them as he closed his laptop and stood up. "Ayla, calm down. Let Mommy go, and she will be here to give us a positive feedback."

This was what made Ayla relax a little bit.

"Mom, are you sure you will be fine alone"? Those were the words Mrs. Morrison heard while leaving the visitor's room.

Ayla was pacing to and fro in the room.

"You need to calm down; things are okay already. Don't get too nervous," Jayson advised.

Neither Ayla nor Jayson could do anything anymore; the laptop was closed until Mrs. Morrison returned to the visitor's room.

"Mom, what did the doctor say?" Ayla asked immediately, and her mother came back.

Mrs. Morrison laughed hard and hugged both her children, saying, "We are going home, let us pack our things."

Ayla released laughter from her blossom ." Mom, are you for real? You mean dad is okay now?" I am so glad I made this decision.

Jayson kept saying, "Thanks, Goodness, thank goodness." they all went to check up on Mr. Morrison and make proper preparations to go home.

In the car.

"Dad, would you like to listen to blues? I got the latest one you will like by your favorite artist," Ayla said to her da as she sparked a reaction, and everyone in the car wanted to know what the new release would sound like.

Mr. Morrison nodded his head and said slowly, "I want to listen."

Ayla quickly tuned to the blues... there are shadows, and what they say is black. Put your light on, and all the darkness is gone.

"Gone, Gone, Gone", Mr. Morrison echoed as he sang the song.

"Darking, I thought she said it's a new release. Where did you hear it from?" Mrs Morrison asked him as everyone in the car was surprised how he got to know even though he was in the hospital.

"You all seem not to understand that I love blues so much. I just need to listen to it, and that's all; ouch", Mr. Morrison squeezed his face.

"Day,wwhat'swrong"? Jayson, who was sitting beside him, asked.

"I feel a sharp pain in the region where the operation was carried out," Mr. Morrison answered.

The music was turned down, and everyone paid attention to seeking Mr. Morrison's wellness.

"DDarling, how do you feel now"? Mrs. Morrison asked him.

"I can't wait to get home," Mr. Morrison said.

Ayla, who was handling the wheel, made sure that she tried her best not to speed high and, simultaneously, not to stroll but make it hasty as they got home on time.

They finally got to the gate of their house, and immediately Mr. Morrison saw this, he said, "Home sweet home, no place like home."

They all got out of the car.

"Ayla, I hope he isn't giving you issues?" Mr. Morrison asked.

"Hmm, Dad, let's get in first; I have a lot to discuss with you on that." she pulled the bag in her arms and dragged it in.

"Jayson, are you done with the design already? Immediately you are done, please show them to dadDadr a crocross-check.heShelt fulfilled that her dad was back.

"Okay, but this description looks a bit like the Harharderathane ones before now, and I am bringing out my best in it." J, Dyson sighed."I believe you should do that," Ayla said as words of encouragement to Jayson.

They finally got inside and almost everywhere, eating like mint.

"Ayla, please get some air freshener. This ace is already smelling like mint. I think that should be from the garden." M, rs. Morrison said.

The family came together as they prayed and thanked God for bringing Mr. Morrison back home safe and sound.

"Dad, can we talk now?" A? la sub said, "Dad, there is a design I want you to see."

Both Ayla and Jayson want the attention of Mr. Morrison.

"No, it can't be now; allow yourself to relax, and afterward, you will be able to discuss whatever it is with him.

Mr. Morrison, still in his pajamas, gave a thumbs up to both of them as Mrs. Morrison helped him to the room, leaving Ayla and Jayson in the living room.

It was getting dark as Ayla stood up to adjust the curtains. They were made from the sisilkabric, a gift Mr Morrison got from his staff on his 50th birthday at work.

"I wish he could be out of place on time and,d dadDaduld be in control, u cnscan'tford to loose company," A, you lamented as she thought about she would be going to work tomorrow.

"I have a trick we can use," Jayson said"
