Chapter 3 CHANGE OF ORDER

The prospect and the escort looked at themselves in the eye.

"We finalized this already when we came here last week, and we are here for the final deal today", the head prospect asked Lucas, facing Ayla as a signal to convince him of what was done in the last meeting.

Lucas smiled, sighting the prospect and looking in Ayla's direction. "If you can't convince me enough, nobody will, not even my worker." he adjusted himself on the chair and cleared his throat.

"Lucas, the desk has been made before now, and there is no need to change it because it isn't in the company's legacy, and the clients will be affected too," Ayla tried to convince Lucas, placing her hands forward and standing on her feet with her eyes in flux direction.

As Ayla was about to sit.

Lucas cleared his throat ."You can finish a statement like this: if you want to work with me, you need to learn some basic work etiquette. He looked at Ayla, tossing his pen to and from his face while he kept rolling his chair in a circular motion.

Ayla held her words so much as she clicked her tongue to her teeth, her hands on the table bent. The direction of Lucas and smiled.

"We are sorry for that missed up. My Myworker forgot to give me prior information on what was on the table; you can blame her as I am doing you a favor and accept this deal with an increase of 5%." Lucas finished his words, stood up, and headed out of the conference room.

He took a few steps forward and took a pause. "Hand you decide on what to do, give me a direct call." he handed his business card to the prospect on his way out. "Please take your coffee; you own a deal now," Lucas muttered.

Ayla was left to face the prospect and explain herself to them.

"Hi...hi, I am so sorry for all the happenings. I.. hope.." Ayla stammered.

As she was about to further her words, the prospects stood up, and one of them said, "I would give him a call when we finally agree to the deal. Anyway, it's still fair".

They both went out of the room.

Ayla was left in the room pacing to and fro.

"Father wouldn't want me to fight, and as it stands, this is an office. I can't do that; I need to talk to him," Ayla hopped out of the room.

In Luca's office.

"Hmmm, I don't know how you want to make things work out when you are not clearing all the rules." Ayla sighed and looked at Lucas, pointing a paper at him. "What is this, and what did you write here?" She was looking stressed out.

Lucas, who was busy with hanging the books on his shelf, took his hands off and stretched his face toward the paper. "As I said earlier if you don't want to take from the company's share, let me know, and I will spinner you myself. Now tell me, don't you like the new rules?" He was finally done with his book arrangement.

Ayla giggled. "You call these rules," flipping her hair to the back and adjusting her collar as she was about to take her seat opposite of Lucas. "These things listed here are punishment, not rules; how can you increase this to 20%?

Ayla was pointing to a page in the book while Lucas was busy looking at the book he placed in front of himself.

"I thought you said a client would be coming in according to the plan in today's schedule." he pushed towards her direction and continued reading.

Ayla looked left and right at the office. "Does that mean what I am saying is nonsense? These workers have Been here for a long time." She stood up because she wasn't getting attention when she was in her seat.

Lucas twisted his head left and right ."I asked the secretary to drop some files on your desk; when you are done with that, we can talk," Lucas said, fixing his gaze on the book.

Ayla stood up and was about to leave the office. "I hope you get this message on time."

Just as Ayla was about to exit the office.

"I need more coffee; the one I took in the morning tasted so good, od," Lucas said, ticking a pen to the tip of the white front of him.

Ayla left the office, slamming the door to herself.

In the hospital.

"Mom th, thank you for this meal, h; nearly killed me today," A Yla held a brown favorite in her left hand as she sat on the hospital visiting chair in the visiting room that was given to them for their family, s; sheves her and mother's food so well that she could eat it anywhere.

Mrs. Morrison smiled. "You need to be patient with him, wartime booth you will understand each other closer to Ayla r, rubbed her on her back and gave her a peck on her cheek.

Hmmm, Ay, la signed, "it's just the first day at work and he is already changing the rules that Daddy made"

Just as Jayson overheard them talking "maybe you two just need to get along with eachother. Jayson suggested.

"Least I forget Jayson" Ayla said as she swallowed the juice in her mouth "we need designs"

."Okay, do you want the usual? Send me the necessary corrections" Jayson said looking at his laptop with all focus.
