Chapter 7 AGREED

LILY'S POV

"It's good to see you again maybe we could hang out one of these days. What do you think? " Ava asked Zavier making me feel out of place.

"Zavier's kinda busy nowadays, you know he's CEO and he has a lot of work to handle. Isn't that right Zavier." I asked Zavier.

"It true, I a have lot to handle and I a wedding to plan for. Maybe another time" Zavier said to Ava and walked over to our dad's.

"His he truly getting married?" Ava asked me.

"Well, that's one of the main reasons he came back here," I answered Ava.

"What's the hurry? He's still young." Ava said.

"Why do you do that?" I questioned because I did not remember myself telling Ava anything about Zaviers age.

"I guessed, he's too hot to be old," Ava said.

"And besides how does he know that the girl he's getting married to is the right one for him?" Ava asked. This made me wonder how she'd react if she knew that girl was me. It seems she has grown a tiny crush on my fiancé.

After we all left the golf club, we all went to a restaurant to have lunch.

"So Lily have you given a thought to the arrangement," Derrick asked.

"What arrangement?" Ava asked.

"It's a marriage arrangement between Zavier and Lily." My mum responded to Ava's question.

"What?" Ava asked as she looked at me.

"You serious girl. You're getting married and it did not occur to you to tell me?" Ava asked me.

"Well, that's the problem I hadn't decided then if I'd be OK with this marriage thing," I said to Ava.

"What about now? Have you decided?" Ava asked in a low voice.

"Yes, I have decided," I said as I turned to face my dad, Derrick, and Zavier. "I agree, and here's your contract," I said as I handed the documents over to my dad. I turned to look at Ava she looked shocked and sad.

"What's the problem?" I asked feeling a bit concerned.

"It's nothing, I should probably head home now," Ava said making me doubt that it was nothing.

"But we haven't had lunch yet," I said to Ava trying to convince her to stay."I have to go," Ava said to me stood up and left.

"What's wrong with her?" My mum asked.

"I don't know," I said as I looked at the exit.

"So now we got a wedding to plan for," Elizabeth said. Zavier do you remember Ava." I asked Zavier.

"Yes, I do," Zavier responded. "If I may ask why is she here," Zavier asked a bit rudely.

"She's here to help me with my dress fitting," I said to Zavier. I couldn't even believe that it was just two weeks left before my wedding day.

Everything was in place the theme was pink my favourite colour, and Ava was to be my bride's maid. What was left was my bouquet.

"Since the dresser isn't here yet, Zavier why not catch up with old times," Ava said leaving me confused.

"Old times?" I questioned.
