Chapter 2 MEETING

ZAVIER'S POV

"Hi," Lily said to me. She was the pure definition of a goddess. She was beautiful.

"Hi, nice to meet you," I said trying to be as calm as possible. She smiled at me and that made my heart flutter, she looked even more beautiful when she smiled.

"Well since you've met Zavier, I would like you to meet Elizabeth, Zavier's mum." Lily's mum said.

My mum hugged her mum immediately after the introduction and said: "You've grown up so much, the last time I saw you were this little."

"You're even more pretty now." My mum said, making me snort. All eyes instantly turned to me.

"Don't mind him. He's a troublemaker." My mum said to Lily.

"I'm a troublemaker because I speak the truth," I said to my mum.

"Let him be." My dad said, "I'm Derrick Miller...."

"Zavier's father." Lily completed my father's sentence.

"Was it so obvious?" My dad asked Lily.

"I've read a lot about you. And Zavier looks a lot like you, but physically and facially." Lily said.

"Really?" I asked

"Yes. You look alike." Lily responded.

She is quite the talker, my mum told me that earlier before we landed. My mum also said we were best friends and that we were inseparable.

I wonder how I even managed to have a friend in this lifetime. I never even had a friend while growing up. Although I was once in a relationship I never viewed it as a friendship.

"Zavier come to the dining, we want to have lunch," My mum said interrupting my thoughts. I followed Lily who was heading to the dining. Our parents were already seated when we got there.

"Have a sit Zavier." Sharon, Lily's mum said. I sat down beside my mum.

"Hope you like pancakes?" Lily asked, "That's what we're having for lunch." Lily said with a smile.

"Have some pancakes," Sharon said to me.

"Thank you," I said to her.

"Sure. Strawberry syrup or honey?" She asked.

"No. No Strawberries I'd rather have honey." I said quickly.

"He doesn't like Strawberries, he stopped eating Strawberries after Lily's allergic reaction to them." My mum said.

"They were so cute," Sharon said.

The day went on and on as both my parents and Lily's parents did some catching up.

After dinner that evening, my dad and Grayson (Lily's dad) went to Grayson's study to talk about some very important matters.

Sharon and Mum were chatting, Lily was supposedly in the kitchen, while I was at the corner sitting down.

Since I was bored, I decided to take an evening stroll.

When we first arrived at the Addams mansion I saw a garden so I decided to take a stroll there. When I got there I noticed I wasn't alone, I had company. It was Lily, I thought she was in the kitchen. She looked beautiful under the moonlight.

I wonder why she is out here all alone without any company.

Besides I thought she was in the kitchen.
