Chapter 10 NEVAEH

LILY'S POV

Zavier suddenly stopped. I followed his eyes and saw him looking at a beautiful little girl.

When the little girl saw Zavier, she rushed over to him and hugged him.

"Zavier, congratulations." She said as she smiled. She shifted her attention to me and said

"You must be Lily. You look stunning."

"Thank you. " I said to the little girl.

"What's your name?" I asked the little girl, making her look confused.

"Zavier?" She called Zavier as she looked at him shockingly.

"Never mind. " She said to Zavier.

"My name is Nevaeh." She added with a cute smile.

"What a beautiful name." I said to Nevaeh. Her name meant heaven.

Nevaeh decided to stay with me the whole day. She said that this way, we would become better acquainted with each other.

I had to leave Nevaeh for some time to greet other guests. Zavier also had to introduce me to some of his business partners.

It was the end of the day and the end of my wedding.

Nevaeh had left with her mum. Now I had to bid my parents. Goodbye. My mum was pink from crying. I hugged both my parents, and my dad whispered, " we're so proud of you. "

"We love you." My mum added.

"We won't see ourselves as much as before, so always remember to call and remember we will always support your decisions." My dad said.

"I love you both so much." I said as we separated.

I waved them goodbye as I left with Zavier. When I got into the car, I couldn't hold the tears as they streamed down. Zavier noticed my tears and handed me a tissue. He wasn't so heartless, I said to myself.

"Thank you." I said in a low voice, making him nod.

Liam, Zavier's right-hand man, drove us back.I liked him from the moment I saw him,he looked reliable, loyal, and trustworthy.

When we got to the villa, many staff who were waiting for our arrival greeted us. Many of them were members of the Irish mob, and Zavier had given me most of their information, which I could hardly remember.

Zavier introduced me to them in a small banquet they arranged in order to welcome me.

"As you all know, this is Lily, your boss lady and my wife. she has as much power as I do, so she deserves respect, anything she needs you must give to her." Zavier said.

"Yes, sir." They all echoed in unison.

"You have to address them." Zavier whispered in my ears. I became nervous because I had nothing to say.

" Let's welcome her." Zavier said to the staff as they applauded me.

"Thank you, as you all know I'm Lily and your boss lady according to Zavier. Although I'm your boss I employ you to see me as a friend and not to be afraid of me. We're a family, although some don't see it like that, but we are a family. Together, you all achieved great things, and now that I'm here, we'll also achieve all of our goals as long as we cooperate with each other." I said, making them applaud. I saw a small smirk on Zavier's face as he applauded me.

"Let me introduce you to those who'll report directly to you and some others." Zavier said

"I guess you know who this is, Georgia she's you, P.A, Kimberly she's the head chef. Bryan is the head of bodyguards. Levi, Theo, Aiden your bodyguards." Zavier introduced them according to their obligations.

I suddenly felt someone dragging my head to dress. it was Nevaeh, her hands were stretched out, signalling me to carry her.

"Hi again." She said, giggling. "Do you remember me?" She asked with a smile.

"Of course I do. You are the adorable five year old, Nevaeh." I replied to her. Earlier, she told me she liked people addressing her that way 'adorable Nevaeh.'

"Whew, that's a relief." Nevaeh said, making me raise a brow.

"Well, the thing is when new people are recruited, they hardly know my name. They most times refer to me as Bryan and Georgia's daughter." Nevaeh said, leaving me shocked. I would have never believed Bryan was her dad.

"Are you shocked?" She asked as I nodded, making her giggle.

"It's okay. I do get this reaction most of the time." Nevaeh said as she whispered. "This is not the first time I'm seeing you. Do you want to know when and where was the first time?"

"Yes."

"There's a picture of you in Zavier's office." She said, making me turn to look at Zavier. He was looking at me but as soon he met my eyes he looked away.

"Can you show me where tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yes, of course." She replied as I placed her on the ground.
