Chapter 3 Sarah is pregnant

Sarah continued to beg Juliana for forgiveness, her voice shrill and insistent. "Please, Juliana, forgive me! I'm so sorry for what I did!"

Juliana, irritated by Sarah's constant pleading, finally snapped. "Get off me, Sarah! I don't want your begging and apologies!"

As Juliana pushed Sarah away, Sarah pretended to lose her balance and fell to the ground, clutching her arm dramatically. "Ahh! Juliana, you're so cruel! You're hurting me!"

Alex, witnessing the scene, rushed to Sarah's side, his face twisted in anger. "How could you do this to your sister Juliana? Why are you so heartless?"

Juliana rolled her eyes, exasperated. "I barely touched her, Alex. She's just pretending to get sympathy."

But Sarah continued to milk the situation, tears streaming down her face. "You're so mean, Juliana! You've always been jealous of me, haven't you?"

Alex glared at Juliana, his voice rising. "Yes, Juliana, why can't you just forgive Sarah and move on? You're always so bitter and resentful, I was wrong about you all these years".

Juliana's eyes flashed with anger. "You have no idea what you're talking about, Alex. You're just blinded by your love for Sarah."

Sarah sobbed louder, her body shaking with fake sobs. "I'm so hurt, Juliana! Your words are like knives, cutting me deep!"

Alex pulled Sarah into a tight embrace. "Don't worry, baby, I'm here for you. Juliana will never hurt you again."

Sarah's eyes flashed with malice and self satisfaction.

As the scene unfolded, Juliana's frustration grew. She knew Sarah was manipulating Alex, using her tears and fake injuries to get attention and sympathy. But Alex was too blinded by love to see the truth.

Suddenly, Juliana chuckled softly, her smile full of sarcasm.

"Alex, I didn't realize until today that you're so stupid".

"What did you say" Alex said angrily

What did you hear, asshole? , aren't you two in love? You have been blinded by that and refuse to know the truth.

His face darkened, "Juliana, don't push your luck!".

Juliana sneered at him. Her smile was chilling. She took the handkerchief and wiped the spot that Sarah touched, and said with carefree tone. "Well! I don't have time to waste here with you. Please just take this sh*t beside you and get out of my sight."

Her eyes wandered as cold mockery flashed in them, and she laughed.

Then, she turned around and left without giving them any chance to speak.

Alex was filled with anger, his eyes were red. "What did you say? stop right there b*tch...

"Alex"

A warm hand grabbed him by his arm, pale faced, Sarah clutched at her stomach.

"Alex, my stomach hurts".

Alex's expression changed. "Sarah what's wrong?".

I don't know...ahhh!, she screamed in pain

A red line of blood trailed down her legs

Alex's eyes widened in shock.

Don't be afraid, I will take you to the hospital right away".

Alex took Sarah to the hospital, Juliana stood by her car,as she watched the car leave.

Juliana entered the dimly lit bar, the sounds of jazz music and clinking glasses enveloped her. She made her way to the counter and ordered a drink on the rocks.

She was not a person who liked to drown her sorrow in alcohol, but this time, it seemed like alcohol could heal her pain.

Juliana raised her cup and poured herself another glass.

She could pretend to be ruthless and confident in front of Alex and Sarah, only she knows how crushed her heart really was.

A five year relationship lost to a single sin. She said with tears rolling down her cheek.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket. She hesitated for a moment before pulling it out, she saw Sarah's name flashing on the screen.

"What do you want, Sarah?" Juliana spat, her voice laced with venom.

"Juliana, I have something important to tell you," Sarah said, her voice dripping with sweetness. "I'm pregnant." You lost again.

Juliana's eyes widened in shock, her mind reeling with the implications. "What? How is that even possible?"

Sarah laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "You really are stupid, aren't you? I've been sleeping with Alex for months, and now I'm carrying his child.", you have been with him for 5 years and he has not touched you, maybe because you were not sexually attractive.

Juliana felt a wave of nausea wash over her, her grip on the phone tightening. "You're disgusting, Sarah. Using your body to trap Alex into a relationship."

Sarah's laughter grew louder, more mocking. "You're just jealous, Juliana. You'll never be able to keep a man like Alex. He's too good for you."

Juliana's anger boiled over, her voice rising. "How dare you! You're the one who's been manipulating him all along, using your tears and fake injuries to get attention and sympathy."

Sarah's tone turned icy. "You're just bitter because you lost, Juliana. You'll never have Alex's love or his child. I've won, and you'll always be the loser."

You're so cheap, well I have dumped a piece of trash on you, you are the loser here. You aren't married to him but you are pregnant for him. Aren't you so cheap Sarah. Juliana said with her eyes full of rage.

"What do you mean Juliana?", Sarah said angrily. He promised to marry me. I know you will get angry.

Why will I be angry? After all, you're the one garbage I threw away like it's a treasure.

How dare you!Sarah said in a loud voice.

Well, I don't have time to talk nonsense with you. I'm warning you now, don't try to provoke me again.

Juliana slammed her phone down on the bar, her hands shaking with rage. She downed her whiskey in one gulp, feeling the burn all the way down, as she ordered another drink.

Someone suddenly tapped her shoulders.

"Hey! Aren't you the eldest daughter of the Wilson family? Why are you here at the late hour? Making deliveries again?"

The one who was leading was Amber, Alex's younger sister.
